Really goood milk teas and boba! Repeated got Rose milk tea with lychee jelly and it was always amazing. Generous with the jelly which is very sweet! Price is decent, I think 50cents more for jelly is extreme, especially if you add more than one jelly type. It is a little steep compared to the bay but it is yummy. This is the best boba place in town. The boba is so chewy and delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. My favorite thing is that you can customize the sweetness of your drink down to a percentage. I love how there are plenty of plugs and places to study. read more

While I love the elegant rose royal tea with Pom poppers, I spent my most recent visit here wait 45 minutes for one order of egg puffs, and watched every single other customer get their food before eventually giving up and requesting a refund and leaving. I will say that the 2 ladies at the front were very polite and it wasn't necessarily their fault, but this sucked. Also the machine ended up being broken when I went up to get my refund which seems like something that should've been noticed sooner. Luckily I wasn't in a rush but it was originally a to-go order and I had errands to run that I could've definitely crossed off the list in that time. I was just really craving egg puffs. Hopefully the lack of communication from kitchen to the front gets fixed, amongst other issues. Maybe I'll come back to see if they fix it but not for a good while. read more

Coming from the Bay Area, I've had A LOT of bubble tea. Even though I gave this place a 4, I would say their tea is fairly generic. That being said, it's good still for being generic. They have a few more options that might not be offered at most tea places back home but for Redding this is pretty awesome. They have the typical tea place snacks to munch on as well as Pho. I haven't tried the Pho yet but look forward to. The atmosphere is young and fun. It's clean and overall a nice place to be. read more

I have been to T4 Tea For U 3 Times. I have received solid customer service each time and have enjoyed the teas and food I have ordered. My favorite tea so far is the lemon bomb green tea with 50% sugar. I have tried to rice combo plates and the vermicelli, all tastes very good. Give it a try. Unique place in redding in the best way possible. It took us about 3 visits to learn what to order. Our favorite is the earl grey milk tea with popping boba 50% sweetness. It may take some experimenting but once you learn what order you like best it's really good. Pro tip: pay attention to how much sweetness you get. Tea For U is just okay. The boba is great, and their flavor selection is immense. But the service is so-so and the times I've gone, the wait is much longer than the other Boba place in town. I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging, and the cup and lid itself is pretty cool looking. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment on that. I love boba tea, and so I was excited to see another tea place open in Redding. So far, my experience has been alright. My qualm is that every time I have gone after my first visit, they have been out of regular boba. They only have had "white boba," which isn't really like boba at all. This has been disappointing when I go specifically for drinks with the regular boba. (I've gone later in the evening or closer to the opening time, so maybe this is the reason?) The customer service is nice. Everytime I've gone, they've been patient with me as I've tried to decide on something from their massive menu and have apologized when they're out of regular boba. The teas I have tried have been alright. Taro was my favorite with regular boba. The other flavors didn't impress me as much. Overall, love the spaciousness, good customer service, and many menu options. It's good enough to make me want to go back. :) read more

I've been here 3 times and each experience just gets worse and worse. Their customer service is horrible, they're rude and impatient. After my last experience I will not be coming back. My first visit there I had ordered a peach mango royal tea. The owners older daughter took my order. The tea was super delicious so I decided to get the drink again during my 3rd & last visit. The girl at the counter, who is the owners other daughter, I told her I wanted their peach mango royal tea, she gave me a weird look and said "uhm we don't have that drink" (with an attitude) I told her I had ordered it previously but she told me I must be mistaken and that I probably ordered a different drink all while being super rude. Her sister then approaches her and the girl taking my order asked if they can make the peach mango tea since apparently I had ordered it before, her sister then looks at me and goes "uhm no we don't make that drink, we're a franchise and we make whatever is up on the board" at that point I was over their attitude but I still continued to be polite. I asked if it was possible if they can mix their honey peach royal tea and their mango tea together for me and they told me no they don't have the ability to do that since they don't have measurements to do so. That would make total sense to me if I was asking them to make an impossible drink from scratch but I was literally asking them to mix two of their teas into one. At that point I decided to just order another drink since I didn't feel like dealing with their rude attitude. I decided to get a small toro milkshake with regular boba while my little brother got a large strawberry lemonade smoothie with boba. When we got our drinks we both got a small so I went back to let them know I ordered a large strawberry lemonade smoothie and the nice gentlemen apologized and said he will remake it for me, he then realized that they still had leftovers from the batch they just made and asked me if that was fine, I told him it was no big deal and so he told this other other employee to go ahead and put the extra smoothie in a cup for us since they had messed up in our order. The employee then rudely asked the guy why he's giving us a drink even tho they messed up on our order, during that time the girl who took my order walks up and rolls her eyes. At that point I was super upset so I gave them a little attitude, took the drink and left. I have never dealt with such horrible of customer service. They clearly need to take a class on "how to not be rude to your customers 101" and "how to run a business". I'm not sure if those girls are just naturally very unpleasant people but I've heard from a couple of my friends and they had a similar experience when they went in and they all stated they will not be back due to the horrible customer service, long wait time and the mediocre drinks. I'm super disappointed because I was so excited for a place like this to come to Redding but I will not be back. Side note: Besides their crappy service, they messed up my drinks 2/3 times I went there. read more

The milk tea & boba is about a 6 out of 10 when compared to milk tea and boba that's offered in the Bay Area. The ambience and staff were chill though during each of my visits, so that's a positive. Coming from SoCal where this was a favorite place to hangout and eat , I was thrilled to have it here in Redding . It brought back memories of being home , being with friends and enjoying a great spot for yummy boba and snacks . I love the atmosphere of this place , its kid friendly , it's so clean and has lots of room, which is great because my friends and I all have kids and they looooove this place . The food&drinks are always fresh, delicious quick and affordable . Service is always on point and the girls up front are always happy . Another thing I love is that they carry SOY , for someone who is lactose and BF I am thankful they have this option so that I can enjoy my favorite drinks. We are obsessed with the Calamari, Takoyaki , fries , sweet potato fries, popcorn chicken... Well pretty much everything lol . About time I wrote a review for a beloved place I LOVE to frequent. Let's start with the cons: Little to none--sometimes they are out of boba, but that is not super common. Happens more so in the summer on hot days. I lived in LA, China, Philly, Vegas, and the SF area. Let's say this boba is PRETTY TOP notch. 10x better than Tea Stop and the Boba place on Churn Creek. I usually get the Jasmine Milk tea, no sugar and no ice. I LOVEEE the noodle soup (I get egg noodles usually) and I ask for extra greens :) I also love the popcorn chicken, eggrolls and chicken plate which is usually like teriyaki chicken. PRO: The noodle soup in my opinion beats Champa and Thai Hut prices. The taste is comparable to the two, but the price is better and I feel like it's a cleaner facility. ALSO there are plugs all along the wall which makes this place a place to study--although SHHH it's a secret!! I LOVEEEE going here! I can eat there all day. YUM read more

Came here twice to order sugar free tea. ( diabetic) both times I got a sugar drink when both times I made it clear I cannot have sugar. Called person in charge and they hung up on me for their mistake. Communication isn't something they want , just your money. Couldn't get a refund nor a apology. Went home added Splenda to my drink and it was soooo sugary I thought maybe I'm just thinking its sweet, nope they said it was because there lavender syrup is sugar!! Then why not tell me this when I said I'm diabetic? Sugar raised so high because of their mistake and instead of refunding me and apologizing , they hang up!! read more
