I was afraid it will become glitchy because the phone was an older model but so far, it's been working smoothly without any issues. I was surprised that the moment the owner inserted the sim card, I got service right away from my mobile carrier. I mean, immediately. The phone is truly unlocked. I remember in the past, it would take a few hours but maybe the technology or speed of service has greatly improved over the years. The second phone I just purchased a month ago also works great with no issues as well. I generally do not write reviews right away in case there is any problems with my purchase that needs to get resolved and share with others. But I am here to say that I have not had any issues. Again, with the second phone, the moment my sim card was inserted, it worked right away. It was pretty much in and out on both visits.  I remember to come back to write the review because the owner was very kind and also provided all the necessary accessories at no extra charge above the asking price, which was actually very comparable to Amazon's (but without the membership fee!). The shop also has a good selection of phone cases and other accessories to choose from. What draws me into this business is the genuine kindness of the owners and their willingness to work with me on what I was looking for. Since this business is close to my home, I will definitely be coming back if I need any other phone-related stuff.

After our lunch, we headed over to this T-Mobile to see what they have available. My Mom isn't into the latest and greatest cell phones so we were looking for the old fashion flip phone... yes, you read right! LOL Hey, as long as calls can be made and calls can be received, it's all good! Unfortunately, they didn't have any flip phones in stock. The staff was very helpful though... they did provide some recommendations. Our visit here was very short lived and that's okay, but worth it. We ended up going to a Best Buy in Los Angeles near my brother's house. And yes, we did buy a new Nokia - 2780 Flip Phone (Unlocked) - Blue for my Mom at that Best Buy. After reading other customer reviews, I realized many of the issues people mentioned were the exact same problems I experienced. Unfortunately, I should have researched this business more carefully beforehand. First, several customers mentioned losing functionality on their Samsung devices after repairs. In my case, my flashlight function stopped working after the repair, despite working perfectly beforehand. Also another customer experienced screen failure issues shortly after the repair, well I received the same issue. This still raises serious concerns about the quality of the replacement parts being used. Second, what disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. When I returned with the issue, the shop refused to stand behind their work or replace the defective repair. Instead, I was told that "their business would shut down" if they fixed every issue customers brought back because they believe customers intentionally damage their own phones. That explanation made very little sense to me, as nobody would purposely damage their own device just to pay for another repair. Another major concern is that they do not provide proper receipts or documentation for repairs, which makes resolving disputes extremely difficult. Overall, based on my experience, I would not recommend this repair shop. The customer service, accountability, and quality of the aftermarket parts were all very disappointing. I strongly encourage others to research carefully before trusting this business with their devices.

I was seen very quickly, had diagnostics done within 5 minutes, and he suggested alternative solutions while discouraging me from doing unnecessary repairs on my phone as it was in good health, despite that costing him business and income. Can't help but appreciate his honestly since a lot of shops in this same business don't have that quality. Called and expressed concerns for slow battery charging. I inquired about time for diagnostics and the guy on the phone quoted 15-20 minutes. Soon after I came to the shop and the guy saw me within a minute of stepping into the shop and did his diagnostic testing within 5 minutes. He told me that my phone charged well on his chargers and suggested that it might be due to my charging cable. He recommended I order a new one and also offered some in store but wasn't pushy about his stock in particular. I also asked about my battery health of 86% and he said it's in good health and I should hold onto it for a little longer before considering a battery replacement. Super pleased with my experience even though I didn't end up doing any business. I WILL be coming back to this location when I do have issues with my phone.
