This was literally the worst t-mobile location I've ever been to, and not even in regards to our phone plan service. The community of San gabriel is more of an Asian culture, so when 4 Latina woman walked into this location, we weren't greeted by a "hello" by the team. It was silent, minus the club music playing in the background. This location is small, and three customer service reps were at their tables. The gentleman was working with a customer, so two young girls were just sitting there twiddling their thumbs. While we skimmed through their array of phones stuck to the wall. We finally made it over to a rep, who didn't advise her name, and upon advising we wanted to add 3 additional lines to our plan, sat there in literal silence and awkwardness as she took our I'd and looked over the plan. Please note the lack of communication through the 15 minutes we were there was pretty uncomfortable. I finally was like screw this, let's travel to west covina for a better location, when she decided to finally speak up to advise that our plan needed to be updated to add additional lines (which is bs since we just spoke to a cs rep over the phone) and we left. It's pretty clear why we were treated as such because we are not of the community. And now we know better to come to this location for anything moving forward. But because we are not of the community, we are people too. Learn how to be a better customer service rep in a world of diversity because that shit, is ugly. read more

I Can give 0 star if I could. My parents came to this location every time but this time one of the employee that could speak Vietnamese was busy so they called me so I can come to help translate because the employee that was available did not speak Chinese or Vietnamese. Once I came I saw that the employee just walked into the room and closed the door and we just stood there waiting and no one came to asked if we needed help or that we need to wait a little bit longer, but instead we just stood there. I wasn't certain at first how much the difference in costs it would be compared to my current Atnt plan, but why not it doesn't hurt to ask right? I went to a different t-mobile store before I had went to this one (not going to name the location here) but the difference is mind blowing. They looked like amateurs and new employees compared to the rep I had at this location. After she came out and introduced herself, she asked us about our needs and what we expected from t-mobile. I told her my current plan s and rates that I currently had and she was even baffled by how much I was spending for my limited plan. I know everyone's plans are different especially considering different factors. She might or might not be able to save from their over paent on their phone plans, but atleast she saved me. The person that helped me out was a friendly and energetic person with a smile that you wont ever not notice. At first you would think she won't be able to do much to help because of the innocence that her looks perceives her as, but let me tell you that she has a drive of a hungry lioness that will do anything to save you as much as possible compared to your current plan. I had t-mobile before and they were actually really good to me, service wise. No drop calls, amd always had signal where ever I had went, even when I was outside of the usa to travel. Jimmy the manager is seriously the best! He is so, so patient and kind. We had a bunch of questions about changing our plan and he answered them all. Also, when it was time to pick up our new iPhones and transfer over the information, we came 30 minutes to closing the second day our phones arrived (without knowing) and had to have it done that day due to my dad leaving out of state for two weeks the next day. Okay, I've made multiple phone calls to each store within 20 miles radius shopping around for the best deal. Of course, being Asian I have to do my "due diligence" and look for the best price and customer service. Thank god for Alyssa Xanh; she was truly genuine and super patient with us. It's time for me to get a new blackberry since I abused my old one (yelp app, checking compliments, UFCing reviews). I went to my regular phone store and walked away empty handed when I didn't see any good promotion. Located next to AU79, this place had the best customer service. I was greeted right away when I walked in by a guy named Stanley. He asked me what kind of phone I wanted and explained the different plans they had at that time. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out TMobile had a promotion here and not at my regular phone store. It was a lot cheaper, and I got even more minutes plus unlimited night & weekends, web and text messaging. The promotion wasn't just the only thing that I liked about this place. It was the customer service. I wanted white 9780 but I was afraid it would easily get dirty. He said not to worry and he would give me a free phone cover in addition to the standard blackberry one. He didn't have the phone at the store but told me he would get it delivered from the other store in 15 minutes. I said okie dokie and I ordered almond milk tea from AU79. The phone arrived in less than 5 minutes. He also offered to cancel my old contract since it would be expired in 2 weeks. I asked him to throw me a free car charger and he said that would not be a problem. My phone was free too after $100 rebate. I only paid less than $50 for tax. I picked up my car charger few days after that and the guy who helped me was nice too. I noticed the camera for my phone was a little defective after I used it for few weeks. I called Stanley and he said to bring it back and he'd replace it with a new one since it was still within 30 days. How could I not like this store? I went there and got a brand spanking new phone again. I am so happy with the service that I am obligated to give this place 5 stars. Great promotion + free phone (after $100 TMobile card rebate)+ free phone cover + free car charger + great customer service = 5 yelp stars!! Btw I cashed my $100 rebate card earlier today. My family plan contract was going to expire in a couple of days so me and my dad shopped around for some good T-mobile deals. But of course now that T-Mobile has millions of costumers its hard to find a good deal that'll throw in a new phone with your renewed contract. Anyways, I've been wanting the Samsung Galaxy S3 in white. We've been a Broadway customer for over 8 years, but they couldn't make the deal of throwing in the S3 no web data added into our contract so we came here. They said they could do it. Renew our contract with NO changes to the price, while throwing in the S3 in for free. My mind was blown away. When they saw how I wasn't fully convinced they took out the pebble blue S3 in a rather larger shape box but the same color as the device, and OPENED it like it was nothing in front of my face. Now, this took me by surprise, since knowing the fact that most T-mobile retailers won't just open a brand spanking new smartphone at the spot. Still I wasn't convinced, I challenge them in getting out the white S3. Tom, the guy, said Okay. Went into the back and came back with the same rather odd looking blue box same as the pebble blue one but it held the White S3 in there. He opened the box like it was nothing also. Now this pissed me off. You think I wouldn't know the boxes you are opening up in my face are REFURBISHED Samsung Galaxy S3's? The ORIGINAL white S3 comes in a thinner white box, like how its suppose to. For all T-Mobile costumers who ever had problems with their new smartphones and went back in to trade for a new one again MAKE SURE the device is from its original packaging box. Cause I'm pretty sure most of the T-Mobile users don't know about the refurbished phones. They are the same copy of your original phones just fake. T-mobile has this thing were theres a warranty for a limited amount of time where if something happens to your phone, they will replace it. But most of us don't know that the phone they are replacing is a refurbished phone. Now, all of you might be wondering so what if they are giving you a refurbished S3? Um, excuse me but I would rather want the real deal, the original shipment of the Samsung Galaxy S3's. One star for saying they can renew my contract with no problems and throwing in a smartphone. This location is located in the same plaza as the San Gabriel Superstore. I had spent weeks calling multiple stores and T-Mobile directly to purchase two iPhone 11 Pros. I was able to get in contact with a wonderful worker by the name of Alyssa. She actually helped me get an order placed with an ETA much quicker than everyone else around and she was able to get an order placed period. While others locations say they were unable place an order for me. Alyssa provided adequate information on the products for my brother and I to help us decide between the different models and sizes. We also purchased insurance on both phones and received screen protectors with lifetime warranty. I've had my screen protector replaced once since owning it but that was due human error lol. She took the time after the order was placed to follow up on the status of the order. She also helped us send back our old iPhones that were being traded in when we picked up the new phones. Saved us the trouble with packaging and dropping it off it a UPS location. Overall I was very happy with the service provided and have recommended my friends to go to her who have already gone to her. Where do I start? I been meaning to write this review for the longest time and since I have more time because of COVID, it's about time. I've had TMobile for 16 years now and have been visiting this store and it's employees for the past 6-7 years. They used to be in a different plaza but even with the move, same great employees and workers! The store is always clean and I always walk out getting all the info I need! Alyssa has been the associate helping me out over the past several years and she always goes above and beyond in explaining everything down to a granular level for me. Always a pleasure to have her service my account and answer any questions I have! I never have to call TMobile myself because she gets it done for me! Amazing service! Thank you Alyssa! Also forgot to mention that I was hesitant to purchase their p360 insurance but she assured me that it was worth it in the long run. I went with it and bought a screen protector for my new iPhone 11 Pro. Long behold, a few months after owning the phone, I dropped it on vacation! As soon as I returned from my trip, they replaced the entire screen for me with no questions asked. Insurance was so worth it for my clumsy self. My family plan was due for an upgrade today and I yelped reviews and called several Phone X stores in the 626 area to see who would offer me the best deal and this place ended up giving me the best offer over the phone. I spoke with Stanley before coming to get my upgrade done but he was leaving and told me that his co-worker Tom would help me out. Tom was very thorough, fast, and efficient with explaining and breaking down all my discounts/rebates and all the specifications on my new 2-year contract. He was very patient with all my questions and even courteous enough to give me a time frame of how long I would have to wait for everything to be finalized. Since I take yelp reviews pretty seriously, I was a bit skeptical because someone left a review saying they gave "refurbished" s3 phones to their customers. He was very honest with me and said that he was the one that helped her that day and said that it was a misunderstanding in which they don't have s3 phones on display at the store (true story) and so he took it out to show it to her. Also, the packaging for s3's are not suppose to be thin...just because the phone itself is thin doesn't mean the packaging comes the same way. If you do your research on OEM s3 packaging, the boxes are actually pretty thick and the white s3 comes in a white box, and the pebble blue in a navy blue box. Anyways, with that said, not only did I receive great customer service from Tom, I left the store happily with my brand new white s3 + he threw in a case of my choice & a car charger all free of charge! :] Thanks again for a wonderful experience! **in case anyone is interested, this place also offers the iphone s4 (compatible with t-mobile) upon request** read more

I decided to walk here in the hot sun the other day to buy my mom an iPhone SE. When I got there I didn't see any iPhone SE and asked the lady there if they had any. She told me I would have to order it and it's free shipping. I told her I had to pay for shipping last time and she said its a 3 day promotion they have currently... When she was helping me order, she typed in the wrong email address and I was never sent an email confirmation that she told me she needed to print out. I waited for a while before she called tmobile about it and she said she will just cancel the order and redo it. She asked for my card again to make the order. I don't know what the hell she was doing but I was stuck in there for an hour. Much longer than necessary to buy the damn phone. When it was all done, I left and walked back home. As soon as I got home, she calls me to tell me that tmobile had cancelled my order!! Walking and hot sun and these incompetent workers = angry me. She said it'll be another half hour before I can order... I just told her to forget it and got an email later saying they cancelled my order at my request. So maybe she just cancelled it because their store wouldn't benefit from it... I should've learned my lesson the first time I got my phone here! I purchased a note 4, but after using it for a day I realized I didn't like it and I'm too used to iPhones now. Buying the phone took me two hours!!! I went back in to return the phone and get an iPhone 6. He told me they would have to charge me $50 restocking fee... And I said okay. Then he tells me he can't return my money when I paid in full cash! And that they will send me a check in 4-6 weeks. Wtf. And then I told him to just use the money as credit towards buying my iPhone and he tells me he can't do that either! I asked for 64 gb and he said they don't have that in stock and I would need to order it to be shipped for $6. Stupid me should've just went to Apple. I had to pay twice for a phone and after the longest time? I never got my money back for the note 4. I went back in to ask about it and the guy just acted shocked that I haven't gotten my money already and said I should've gotten it by now. He made some phone calls and then told me to wait two weeks for it. After three weeks I still didn't receive and went back there. All those stupid ass trips took me atleast two hours in the store cause they can't get any more workers or any competent workers. These people here can't do anything right! This is an exceptionally small T-Mobile store. The store gets somewhat crowded in the weekends and the service is pretty bad. You have some nice employees helping you out but they take a long time. They only have a couple computers to use and each employer takes at least 45 minutes to help a group of people or one person. I've waited about 20 minutes until someone acknowledged me, then I waited another 20-30 minutes for them to give me service. Overall expected wait is an hour and a half. The employees are nice but the wait time is unbearable. read more
