I tried disputing it with my credit card but the merchant lied saying I never contacted them back about the issue. Even though I emailed 2 separate times, called like 4 which one of the calls lasted 10 minutes of me trying to get a refund, and went to the shop 2 separate occasions. I did not immediately approach them right away, I had class after the pick up because I am a college student. I also didn't re-contact my bank back because it is too much effect, I had midterms during then, and if they need the money so badly they can keep it. Now it is July 18 and the cheap replacement they gave me has a fat yellow tint looking like a long vertical line on the left side of my screen. This 100% due to a hardward issue, and now I cannot reach out about the issue because the shop is dishonest, and disingenuous. If you want your laptop worse off come here, if not take the extra money to a different shop with actual integrity.

Not only do they repair what they sell but they offer cell plans and other options & devices too. I went in as my Motorola died the screen went black and it looked like the battery oozed and old water damage to my phone as well so this was a seemingly hopeless cause as I literally had 11 gigabytes of photos and videos of my Momma who had just passed all in that phone and no way to get them out. I was distraught to say the least but knew I had come to this same store about 8 months back and they had replaced my cracked screen in under a half hour and for under a hundred bucks too. This was incredible as I had tried other stores shopping around and all wanted double or triple and told me it would take days. Not T.J. Cell Phone Repair they are superb and aim to please. They are willing to take on problems that others could NEVER FIX!! Anyways that leads me to today's dilemma I had a new phone and had whatever photos that were in my memory card that was full, however about 11 gigabytes of my family our vacations and trips partys etc and most importantly the last year of My Mommas life which I had so many pictures of her and I and various other family members. These were priceless to me but how can I get them into my new cell with a screen that's black so you can't give the command to share to another phone. TJ and his partner tried again and again to get my screen up and running even with the inside computer system slowly dying due to the water damage and battery acid leaking. Where others would have given up and said sorry buddy we don't have the time (as they are a business)they both made it a point to retrieve my Mom's pictures for me as I explained it all to them and they empathized with me completely. Long story short they managed re-hooking up the screen though you could barely see what was on it and then had these super bright lamps shine on the screen as they could barely make out what button for each file they had to send to a new memory card they put in my old phone. After an arduous few hours they had recovered all 11 gigabytes of precious memories and then when I came in they put that memory card in my phone and transfered ALL MY PRECIOUS PICTURES to my new phone and I can't thank them enough. THAT WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME!!! I now have a new phone with plenty of memory space and ALL my old photos and am one happy camper. If you've read through all this you can see this is a store unlike no other. TJ Cell Phone Repair really cares about their customers and "bends over backward" to accommodate them. I highly recommend five stars rating off the charts as they have proven themselves again and again to me and they will do right by you too!!!

Suddenly, the volume button also stopped working, which meant she couldn't restart the phone at all when the screen froze. We were looking for a bare minimum solution, to have the old phone be functional long enough to transfer her data to a new phone. I called a few places looking for a simple, temporary fix, and luckily found this store. When I explained the situation, they offered to help with the data transfer instead of repairing the older phone. They temporarily installed a working screen on the old phone, let us complete the transfer, and then even swapped the cracked screen back afterward. They went above and beyond, no other store offered a similar solution besides repairing the old phone completely. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I found this place on Yelp, sent a message, within a less than a minute, I got a quoted price, what time to come in and roughly how long it would take. No BS, no "we'll have to see what condition the phone is in, in order to give you the price", just exact price right on the spot. I came in at the exact appointment time, and to my surprise Jerry, the manager was there waiting for me. Dropped off the phone to him, he told me to come back in 30-45 minutes. He didn't give me any paper or receipt, so I felt a bit worried since there was no proof I left it with him but I did so anyways. Came back 45 minutes later and there was Jerry waiting for me again, showed me the phone and it was a brand new screen, worked even better than before and i was out the door in a few minutes. One of the best experiences I've ever had with repair service and definitely making this my new go to place for any repairs.
