The guy charge me $35 dlls to set it up and once I got home this router never work, so I tried calling Verizon and they were not able to answer me at all. It's all automated system and I took it back to the store and as soon as o walk in there the guy said I cannot help you, you will have to call Verizon so it seems that is time to change to another different company! When I returned to hand over my old phone, the black man from another location who was covering there shift took it and informed me that everything was done. I was in there today to get my replacement SIM card. Another customer was waiting to pick up her Apple Watch. The person working, who had no name tag on, refused to give her the watch. She had to call the other store to get her watch. I left with a new SIM, but my phone isn't working. It failed the activation. I can't even call Verizon for help as I don't have a landline. I had a great experience with Antwione. He took time to answer all my questions about phone plans and extra add ons, and gave me advice on how I can save money, even though I already bought 2 phones already for myself and didn't need a third. Also I had spoke to 3 Verizon reps, one in Arizona, one at the home office (probably the Philippines), and one in Fullerton CA, and no one told me that I can save money with a new plan. He was nice enough to put on a glass protector on for me which I cannot do myself. I bought a wall charger from the store even though I don't absolutely need one, just because he was so helpful. read more

Went the next day and the lady jenny gave me the hardest time picking up my phone had me talking to support and then after s bunch of difficulties finally got my phone after almost an hour of very unpleasant feeling that I was trying to scam or something. As a witness to one of the worst customer service I have experienced of all time, (this isn't my issue directly but I have right to have a opinion about it), I have never felt more passionate to write such a negative review until today. As all of these other negative reviews who also say how much these people are penny pinching phonies who just want your money, I can proudly say that THEY ARE RIGHT. In any business or company that surrounds their integrity and values by being shady to their customers is straight up SAD and PETTY. I get that people who work in sales need to make their coin off commission, just know that there are better, more professional, and of course, HONEST ways to do it. If you do it by being a smart-mouth, (we were told sarcastically that all Verizon stores are "the same"), by not providing the customer a receipt of their transaction, and by not providing documentation of your sales policy stating that you are required to charge a $150 service fee (to just upgrade a phone--SERIOUSLY?!), and then try justify the charge but giving providing a "bundle deal" of 3 "gifts" (all 3 of which that were pick have totaled to less than $150 FYI), then I find it very depressing that people are trained to scam people like this for extra money in their pocket. If you are a representative to this company, or in fact, the manager (your name is Angela right?), who is reading this review and would like to leave a reply telling me to email them privately so that we can "further assist in our issue"--do not bother unless you are willing to refund us the $150 YOU HUSTLED from my boyfriend. Oh, by the way, you were not given permission to apply that $50 tempered glass screen protector on his phone, how RIDUCULOUS. You can well be sure that we will not be taking this issue lightly and will be taking this in our own hands. I look forward to you (or to whoever has the authority) to truly resolve this issue and provide a rightful refund. I'm sure not all third parties are bad apples trying to up sell, scam, and mislead you, but the staff at this particular store definitely is. Look long story short, we were loyal customers and when my family and I tried to renew our contracts and get new phones, Leo (store manager) sneaked in a bullshit "bundle" of accessories that costed more than $100. When questioned, he said "everyone needs a bundle" per phone. So supposedly their "store policy" is that to get a new phone you need to spend $100-120 per phone on top of your new phone taxes. Now we have to deal with the annoying refund process. Go to Best Buy to avoid any bullshit. They pretty much want to scam customers that don't really know what they're doing. The people at this Verizon retailer are crooks, plain and simple. (1) The salesperson represented to my family that we could receive a free tablet with a free monthly data plan. Was it free? Heck no. Once my family received our first bill, we saw Verizon was charging us $10 a month for the data plan on the tablet. When we called Verizon's national customer service hotline to terminate the tablet plan, Verizon said we would need to pay a whopping $175 termination fee to terminate the tablet plan or we would have to just wait out the 2 year contract and pay the monthly tablet fees. I wonder what kind of $$$$ kickback the salesperson received for selling this "free" plan. (2) This retailer gave our credit card information to ProtectCELL, a cell phone insurance company we never signed up for. In fact, we were being charged for both ProtectCELL and Verizon's mobile protection program. (3) They also sold us a Speck FitFolio tablet case for $50. The case currently retails for $12.49 on Amazon. (4) Downright nasty service. Once they have swindled you, good luck getting them to talk to you on the phone (their receptionist even hung up on me at one point) or return your phone calls. When Verizon's national customer service rep called this retailer on our behalf, this retailer was rife with fake apologies and false promises of gift cards. Still waiting for our gift cards in the mail and won't be holding our breath. Verizon used to be known for their excellent reception and even better customer service.
