I took my son to upgrade his phone. His iPhone X was on it's last legs. We drove down to the T-Mobile on Federal Highway. What a great location. The staff is so friendly they went out of their way to help. Shari was amazing. I questioned if the phone really did qualify for an upgrade because the back glass was cracked and the manager even came over and said he inspected it he approved it and everything is going to go through perfectly. Well, it did! We were in and out of the store with all of the information transferred from one phone to the other within 30 minutes. The easiest upgrade I've ever had. Most of the reviews on Yelp for this location are from years ago and thus, have little value, in my opinion. Reviews placed here should be about service rendered at this location, and nothing else. I entered the store with much trepidation, as what I had tried to accomplish by telephone had been unsuccessful. Not once. Not twice. Five times. Speaking with different TMobile reps around the world. Some were very nice. But none could help. I had purchased a new iPhone for my dear friend Jill who I've known since 1975. Jill had lived the high life on the UES, travel here and there, house in the Hamptons, etc but had fallen on hard times. To stay in contact better, I had shipped her a new iPhoneX. You see, she was using a "flip phone", buying minutes, and couldn't get texts or pictures or access the internet or access her mail. Geez, how could she live like that?? I set up a T-Mobile 55+ account for her in my name, received a SIM card, and wanted to activate the SIM card so we could get the iPhone to work, and then port her 917 number to the new phone. Jill was petrified about this process, continually and eventually obnoxiously fixated on not losing her 917 area code and number. For anyone who is a native New Yorker, you know the significance of a 917 number. So when we tried to do all of this by phone we couldn't cause the TMobile account was in my name, not hers, and she did not have a regular account with her minutes buying plan with Verizon. Enter AUGUSTO MODERNO. Patient. Knowledgable. A great listener. Nothing phased him as we spoke, including the pushy loud mouthed guy who entered the store and walked up and demanded to speak "to the owner of this damn place". AUGUSTO understood what we needed to accomplish, appreciated that I was prepared with my photo ID, account number, billing statement, and we got Jill on the phone. As AUGUSTO started to talk Jill through the process, he could not resist a smile and chuckle as he listened to Jill, who was so afraid she would lose her 917 number that she refused to even turn the iPhone on! He calmed her down, explained what we would do step by step, and assured her that he would get the 917 off her flip phone and onto the iPhoneX. And that it would work. And she need not stress over it. He had her on speaker phone and it was hysterical. Jill is somewhat IT challenged to begin with and all this was daunting as this iPhoneX took on a life she could not understand. Bottom line, he got her 917 ported to the new iPhone, made a call to her from his personal cell, sent her a text, and reassured her that she could call or text him whenever she wanted with any questions. And gave her parting advice, "go to YouTube and enter iPhoneX and you'll learn all sorts of things about your new toy. Enjoy it." So this location, because of AUGUSTO rates 5 stars. He is an asset to the TMobile customer service team. Also, the store was clean, well lit, and there's plenty of parking, as well as seats to sit in as you wait to see one of the 3 reps there. By the way, Jill now knows how to text, receive pictures (but not send), but refuses to FaceTime because she said her hair is all messy. That's my dear friend Jill! read more

I've been with T-Mobile for over 20 years. Today they charged me for something I did not purchase. This is the third time in two months that they tried to scam me. I canceled one of my telephone lines and they kept charging me for it for 6 months. I am in the process of finding another carrier. read more

I left the T-Mobile store in Boca Raton on Federal and S. 8th Street livid. My Galaxy 22S was brand new--2 months old, but the screen protector developed large bubbles on the bottom. This employee named Wilson tried to smooth it out, and did not succeed. He even tore the protector in the lower right hand corner. He said that since I didn't take out insurance, I would have to buy a new protector. I was so mad I left fuming. I decided to try the next T-Mobile store, this one in Deerfield Beach. The manager, Raquel immediately saw that the protector was applied incorrectly and that the Boca store should have replaced it. She gave me a new protector on the house. Now that was customer service!I This Boca Store talked me into services I didn't need, like the watch throw in. It was not made abundantly clear that another line was needed and that I had a two year commitment of $10 extra line fee. After 2 years the phone will be mine and I can cancel the service. I guess the same would have happened with the tablet. Be wary of these "throw ins". Also, don't let them talk you into the T-Mobile wifi modem which with other services with YouTube will give you all these cable channels. The salesman talked so fast, and I am 68 and made it sound like a good deal. Luckily I never took it out of the box and returned it via UPS as per instructions a couple days later and I did get my refund. If I remembered the salesman's name I would mention here. Bottom line is, if you are looking to trade in your phone, just do that and say no to all these bells and whistles you have done without all your life. read more

Brand new store. Moved from down the street. Not on Google maps yet. Lots of people to help you. When I went in on a busy Saturday morning there were 5 people working customers. This place has all the phones in stock, prepaid options, charging cables, accessories and good stuff I do t see at all the small outlets. This is an official store and they can adjust your plan and do full account maintenance for you. I waited about 30 seconds after walking in, was greeted and helped immediately. I was transferring over from being an AT&T user and everyone at the location was extremely helpful. Every employee went out of their way to make sure the transition was quick and easy without any problems. We were helped by Ivon who was super knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. She was able to explain the differences between phones and plans with complete clarity and we all walked out with wonderful new phones without any regrets. Steve was also very helpful. We had a family member in Tampa upgrading and swapping over with us and Ivon and the team took the time to talk to the other store over the phone to make their transition smooth as well. It really meant a lot to see that these employees really cared about their customers and would 100% recommend coming here to do anything phone or plan related. Terrible! Their procedure on how they they attend customers is absolutely bad. I spent over 40 minutes just try to pay a $5 Bill! Instead of attending them by the order they come in you should ask what are you here for today to get people out fast. Every time I came in there's always someone asking dumb questions like "does this come with a sim" over and over again or they'll start a long conversation with them. I'm glad I switch over to Verizon and closed my T-Mobile account. read more

They cherish their customers time but also make them feel worth something by taking however long they need to satisfy their customers needs and help them with their phones. They make you feel very welcomed when you first walk in and always greet you as soon as you walk through the door.
