Stay away from this store. All they want to do is upsell you. Unfortunately, we switched service last month either 5 phones and one internet Gateway. Needless to say it was very time consuming and complicated as 3 of the phones and the gateway were going to another state. They never changed the address for the gateway and now their service is horrible. I have spent more time going back and forth to the store as well as hours on the phone with the most incompetent people you can imagine. What a nightmare. I would give 0 stars if i could. I wanted to upgrade my phone. I got here at 5:30 checked in and waited. I was very clear why I was there. I was thanked multiple times for my patience but not once was informed that after waiting an hour I would not be able to get my phone upgraded. I contacted customer service to let them know i will be leaving Verizon due to this interaction. I don't want to give money or my business to a company that isn't focused on delivering excellent customer service. Expecting customers to read minds when they are waiting for an excessive amount of time is a ridiculous thing to expect. Who would wait to be told they are going to have to do this at home independently. I literally would have done it online and not waited an hour of my time. The customer service rep i did interact with in the store was rude; overshared things not relevant to me as a customer saying Verizon will "penalize" them for staying over one minute to help a customer. Well i hope Verizon loves losing customers. If good customer service is not included in my bill i pay each month then I will ensure the next company i give my business do makes that a priority. Been a Verizon customer for years was looking to spend some money and get a tablet but I guess y'all don't have sales goals at this location or something. 5 Stars for great service in a pinch by Jamie. We went to Verizon the 23rd of December imagining it would be an absolute nightmare. We had a few tasks and thought they'd rush us out. Jamie couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. She stuck with us through calls to the 800 number to set something up that she couldn't. I really appreciated her demeanor and willingness to help and take the problems through to their resolutions. Otherwise, the space is clean. I'd recommend going to this location if you ever need to get phone things sorted for yourself or a loved one. I love, love, love upgrading the star count when I go to do an update. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a store get their act together. When this location first opened it was disastrous. The management and staff at that time were truly horrible. I'm so glad they have a new team. I love the staff because they are eager to help you & answer your questions. If they don't know the answer, they seek out the manager for guidance. Managers who actually manage~what a genius idea. This ultra modern store has quite a few displays with different phones and tablets you can play around with. For example; I am an android person & have always used the Samsung galaxy line. I was thinking about changing to an iPhone, but after playing around with one & asking my rep a ton of questions, I quickly realized that I love my Galaxy & changing to an iPhone just because they have FaceTime wasn't a great choice for me. My rep didn't try to sell me anything & I really felt like she just wanted me to be happy. I loved that, especially since I am eligible for an upgrade & I was thinking of upgrading from the Galaxy 7 to the 8. I respected my rep for being honest and also for saving me money. I don't know about you but I love saving money! I am looking at Fitbits & they had a limited selection on display, but my rep really knew her stuff. She pointed things out to me that I need to look for before making my decision. This Verizon store did an excellent job of getting a stronger management team in here & they are lucky to have such knowledgeable employees who go the extra mile to make you happy. I'm holding back the 5th star because the parking lot is so confusing. Technically they are on the SE corner of Glades & 441 & the front of the store faces Glades Rd. My husband went to Verizon because we were having issues with our phone and his watch. We are new to Verizon because they were Having a deal with phones and watches. Anyway when he told the woman what the issues were she said sorry, you need TO go to an Apple store. They are iPhones. We do not help you unless it's service. We had AT&T and sprint for over 20 yrs. They would always help us. I always heard their service is bad and told my husband not to get it. He is sorry now. The girl wouldn't even help him call the 800# for service on international service if we go out of the country. Talk about lazy. No Wonder this country is the way it is. This review isn't about this particular Verizon store but about their company. I have had a terrible experience as a new customer and am already trying to cancel my subscription. I'm honestly so pissed right now from dealing with them, I don't even want to type out a full review. Alright so here is the issue. Me and my ex wife just got divorced. She had an account with Verizon for a mobile hotspot. She cancelled the service because she doesn't need it anymore. She gave me the device. I dealt with someone from Verizon's chat who set me up with a new account using the same device. He told me that I will be able to use it after I set up the new account. I chose a plan for 90 bucks a month. He sets it up and says your service will kick in within 15 minutes. Hours later it still wasn't working, so I finally got through to someone from their live chat again. This time they said I need to contact the fraud department as there is a hold on my device and that I can't do that now because their fraud department is closed. Fine. Later that day I contacted the fraud department, hold removed. Think that's the end of it? Nope. I get home and try to use my device and nothing. Again, I reach out to them... "hey the device is still not connected to the internet." Spend about 30-40 minutes giving all of the information they asked for. Brandon from the live chat then tries to cut the chat off, even after providing ample proof of me signing up for a whole new account in my name, telling me to have the account holder contact them. Well, Brandon, I am the account holder. So long story short (or maybe it's still long) I just signed up for a new account 4 days prior and am still not able to use the device that I have paid for. No help from Verizon whatsoever. Please understand I've spent HOURS dealing with them in total about this issue to no resolve. Well, I guess now I will have to go through the process of my bank to dispute the charges and find another company to do business with. This is the first time I've ever attempted to do business with them and it is my last. They will definitely never earn my business again and I will definitely steer any other potential customer away. Rude people. I called Corporate with a request regarding returning equipment after terminating all my accounts and paying in full, then Corporate advised me to go to the store where I originally contracted my services so they could handle my things in person, (they verified in their system that my request could be taken care of by the store directly, as I rather send a person from my company to deal with people face to face) . So I called this tore in Boca Raton, and a lady by the name of Rogue (or Rose, or something like that), drove me in circles with my request (like I said, I previously called Corporate office to make sure the store could do what I was asking), and she had the nerve to tell me that I was supposed to call VZW Cust Serv and tell them to put a note on my account about doing what I need in a different way. Her excuse was "My Manager just told me that". Long story short, the moment I get upset about her way to handle a customer and confront her on the crazinest of her advise, she just put the headset down on her desk (I could hear people, in the distance) and she stopped listening, so I would waste my time explaining with no response. I am overseas, but I wish I would be there to tell them in their face what poor communication skills they have, and embarrast them in front of their potential customers. The manager probably wants to do less work and not do what Corporate guidelines dictate. I was trying to return equipment in the same store I purchased it, Corporate said I could do so, as long as was the same store, and they were supposed to receive it, give me paperwork and forward the equipment to VZW central location , but the "Manager" is forcing me to get prepaid labels and ship them,, he/she probably dont want to do the process and return him or herself from the store. Nice. Im glad me, my business and my family are out of VZW. Stay away at least from this particular store, they are unprofessional, lazy, and poorly educated people. I can't express my frustration enough for people who are predisposed not to help. Here is but another example. I have a serious billing problem for services I never asked for and have had no success through countless conversations with phone Verizon customer service in resolving it. The store where I bought the phone claimed they couldn't assist me since they weren't a "corporate" location and recommended that I go to a Verizon "corporate" store which this address is. I was hoping to solve a problem that wasn't caused by any act of mine. Well, it was a disaster. The person who "assisted" me at this location had no business card, appeared to hide her ID from me and I believe called herself Nicole. For identification purposes only, she was a pot-bellied long-haired female millennial. From the start, she appeared annoyed that I wasn't in the store to buy anything and she either she didn't understand my situation as I explained it (she asked no questions until the very end) or simply didn't care to listen at all. I'm not sure which it was although the end result was her brazenly throwing me out of the store. My story? Verizon has continued to bill for canceled service and has even gone so far as reconnecting that number (a number that I purchased) from another carrier without my permission. This didn't sound too complex to me. I simply wanted a zero balance and the assurances that Verizon would leave my phone alone. One thing I made clear in a calm and collected way (at least until it appeared to me that she made clear she would (not could) do nothing) was that I was at wit's end because of wasteful time spent on the phone with customer service for months attempting to have them leave my phone alone and giving me a zero balance for reinstated service that I never requested. The efforts of this in-store Verizon person was limited to a cursory look at my bill, telling me something about bill cycles that I did not understand (and why would it matter since I owed nothing to Verizon) and then telling me to (get this...) resolve this..... with customer service! I then said to her: "So you're either giving me the (I shrugged my shoulders) act, or you're giving me the (I raised my two middle fingers) Which is it?" She then conveniently put herself into immediate victimhood by accusing me of directly insulting HER rather the obvious intent which was solely to demonstrate that I was being "screwed" repeatedly by the company that employed her. She then asked me to leave the store. Thanks for choosing both to disrespect a customer with a serious billing issue and then accusing him of conduct that failed to take place in order to have him leave your location so you wouldn't have to be bothered with him again. They completely ignore you when you first walk in since they are understaffed and then decide to tell you after you've been already waiting for 25 minutes it is appointment only. I got to the store at 11:30, was greeted to be helped out within 5 minutes which is fair. I had to use the customer service phone line to approve myself for my account with verizon which took 10 minutes. The lady that was helping me dissapeared during that 10 minutes to take her "lunch" with two other workers. I waited patiently for about 20 minutes and saw the 3 workers right outside the entrance in a conversation that had nothing to do with verizon just wasting time, this conversation went on for an hour. Her excuse was the verizon customer service phone line usually has a long waitlist but it didnt. The workers that didnt take a "lunch" were occupied for the most part but in between customers I was told to hold on a moment because the lady who was helping me shouldve been back already. After hearing I will be helped in one moment for the 8th time I just left, this verizon store is by far the worst one I have dealt with. Sat there for over 2 hours till 1:30 in need of a new iphone and left empty handed. This lady needs another job besides selling iphones, maybe she should sell vapes because she would rather vape outside and talk instead of making money. What a clown show! Just got back from driving a legit 30 minutes to get there in time to grab my new phone. I had to work late and handle some stuff at home so couldn't get there earlier but wasn't stressing. I'd come in earlier in the week to check some phones but didn't purchase at that point because the sales guy didn't seem to know very much about the new Pixel. I figured it was new and went home to do my own research. Came back today armed with all sorts of knowledge and ready to decide between the new Google phone and one of the specials they are running on the new Moto's. Not only did the tall sales guy ignore us, then flat give me an ugly look for coming in so close to close, but then essentially refused the sale and walked away. I tried to move past it because ends of days are tough in any industry and asked him a few questions about the Motos but he couldn't answer any of it. You'd think as a phone rep he wouldn't have to ask for the phone, try to figure it out in front of you, then give up and admit he has no idea. You'd also think someone getting commission would love to vulture those last minute sales. Not this guy. And his manager looked so disinterested I didn't even bother. Save yourself the time and hassle. Hit up a diff corporate office. What it will cost you in extra drive you will make up for. Tomorrow I'm hittin up one of the other spots even if I have to drive an extra fifteen each way. Wouldn't give this store a sale on principle even if they weren't capable of sabotaging their own bottom line. I honestly don't know where to begin? In these crazy times, we went to the Verizon store in Boca Raton. They were short-staffed that day. As this has become the norm in most places. We were still warmly greeted by a kind gentleman ( who was running like crazy) and apologized for the delay (I believe his name was Herrell). When it was our turn, we were called to Carla's work-station. Carla's knowledge and professionalism were incredible. She was truly compassionate and caring and made sure we knew about all the available programs to us. (She is now saving us almost 50.00 per month, by the way) This was our first visit to this location. It will be our new Verizon store of choice. This store is beautifully arranged in a fun way. Makes the customer want to see what's around the displays. I was not bombarded by sales people and had a chance to check out merchandise before I decided to purchase an iPad case. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned the bad Yelp reviews he expressed his experiences with the rude attitudes of people in this area. I have a feeling the bad reviews are because this store is in Boca which is comprised mostly of transplants from New Jersey and New York, and quite frankly the general attitude of people here is New York rude! Today is the big day the Samsung S8 has finally arrived and I called the store to check availability before I drove to the Boca location. There are many Verizon stores that are operating Under The Canopy of Verizon but this location on West Glades Road is an authorized Verizon dealership. I spoke with Luis (or louis) the manager on the phone who told me that they had availability for the S8 but I needed to come in right away because they were selling out because it's a brand new product. There are 9 customers before me in line. Jeff is my salesman and my wait time was less than five minutes!That's amazing. I am so excited to get the S8!! This store is so easy to find it's clean and organized. I have been with Verizon since 2004. It (verizon service) worked great when I was in california. Jeff was so kind to help me with the photo for my lock screen. He is an asset to this company. I can't thank him enough for taking the time out to help me with my new galaxy S8. What a nice new phone I got today. So glad I'm a Verizon loyal customer. Thank you Louis and Jeff for everything today. You guys deserve 10 stars!!! By the way: Jeff spent over an hour helping me get my contacts right and doing all kinds of things (even getting my original lock screen photo on my new phone). If we could give a zero star we would. We went to upgrade our phone, tendered $500 in gift cards as the down payment, which were accepted, and the order was placed (receipt evidence). We were notified a few days later with an email from corporate that we had tendered NO down payment and the order would be cancelled if a down payment was not made. We have cycled on the phone between the store ordered from and corporate WITH NO RESOLUTION. The store claims the order is not cancelled, corporate cancelled it. There is ZERO customer service to resolve this issue despite futile attempts. We have also tried to "return" the order in the store to receive the gift card totals back, the store says it cannot be done. $500 has been stolen from us, with no order placed and no help from the store manager or corporate. The store blames Corporate and Corporate blames the store. Neither have been helpful or accept the blame or even attempt to correct the situation. read more

I went to this locations to upgrade my phone early and ask a few questions about the new iPhone. When I arrived an old white male employees informed me that they were only doing curbside pick up. I asked him if he could answer some of my more basic questions and he refused to, telling me to call the number for customer service. I had called the number to customer service before with no response and had informed him of this, but he did not care. When I mentioned that it was unfair that I drove all the way out to the location with no knowledge that they were not open for normal operations, he responded call the number and let them know. The number that does not answer. He was extremely rude to me as well as other customers who had come to look in the store. Really shitty experience definitely would not go back to this location, I have never had issues with Verizon stores like this before. Under no circumstances should you visit this Verizon location. Dustin, the Verizon representative who helped us last week, lied to my husband about the discounts eligible for our cell phone plan and it cost us hundreds of dollars. He told us our monthly fee would be a specified price but it actually is much more than that and the plan he directed us to buy due to the discounts was not eligible for those discounts. If you do go here, make sure he is not taking care of you. I would also recommend calling corporate Verizon (611 on any Verizon cell phone) when you are in the store to confirm the price on your contract before you sign any contract. When we called Verizon to clarify the price of our plan, they told us something entirely different from what Dustin told us in the store. Furthermore, Verizon was unwilling to honor the price that Dustin told us. Having you sign a contract under one price yet charging a different price is unethical and illegal. read more
