They also price match Amazon (if it's sold and shipped by Amazon). I ordered an solid state external hard disk (SSD) online and had it shipped to me. Worked fine for a week and then froze up. I brought it to their Geek Squad and they verified it was defective... I returned it for full credit and bought a better one that has been great. By the way, if you're looking for an external drive... I'm using it to store a bunch of videos and photos... I highly recommend the Samsung T7 2TB SSD. I don't find their salespeople to be that helpful for guidance, so I do all my homework to determine what I want, then use Best Buy for fulfilment.

My problem was that when I went to fix my computer they said "oh yeah it's completely crashed, we are going to have to keep it overnight and by the way the computer you purchased (that they sold me) is a piece of shit." Like thanks for that. They eventually told me it would cost at least $200 if not. I left went to U Break I fix, they quoted me slightly less at $150 but encouraged me to contact HP because my computer was still likely under warranty (I was so panicked I forgot about that tidbit). Long story short, HP got my computer up and running in about 30 minutes and free. Best Buy didnt even bother diagnosing it, they just told me they would have to hold on to it and every time they touched my computer it would be a charge - and the kicker? They told me my files wouldnt be saved. That was also a lie.
