I called this place a long time ago, and I was impressed as to how helpful the person was. When I was back in town, I brought an old iPad with a broken screen. I should have brought the iPad here when there was just a slight amount of damage to the screen, because now it was beyond repair. The person was very honest in saying that he could replace the screen, but since the screen would be unable to lay flat onto the iPad it would just crack again. He had numerous refurbished iPads for sale at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place. I can't say enough good about these guys. I spilled some coffee on my cell phone and it got inside causing problems (older Samsung). Anyway I brought it in with more hope than expectation but these guys have done repairs before when I shattered the screen. They cleaned the innards and brought the thing back to life. The cost was nominal and I paid it with pleasure. The screen on my iPhone no longer worked. Siri worked and notifications came through (flood warning/amber alert etc.) but I could not log in due to a black screen. Brought it to the Apple Store where they would charge 3 times more (I found out later) to fix the screen, and NOT guaranteeing the pictures would be saved. 'It's probably not worth it' the Apple Employee said. Brought it to MobileSource and before they repaired it, they contacted me that the screen shorted out due to water/moist. All that had to be done was to replace the screen, and the pictures? they are still there! Now the phone is like new. I had to wait 2 hours at the Apple Store to get in line, once in line waited another 30 minutes. I highly recommend using MobileSource for your iPhone repairs. The entire process was smooth and quick from the moment I requested a quote via yelp to getting my phone repaired. I'm slow when it comes to phone upgrades so I'm still rolling with an iPhone 6+ and had recently cracked my screen and the charging port appeared to be failing. I got my quote and then went in at a time that worked for me. The original date didn't work so as a token of appreciation for potentially inconveniencing me they dropped the quoted price a touch more. I dropped my phone off a little after 9 am and it was completed before 10:30 am at a price that was far superior than taking my phone to Apple. No pressure to upsell, no veiled threats that they might not be able to fix it "requiring" an upgrade; just simply fixed what needed to be fixed at a fair price. I do not normally write reviews but this business deserves it! I dropped my iPhone X in water and although the phone is supposed to be water resistant, water entered the camera. I immediately turned off the phone and took it to MobileSource as they have a TekDry machine that extracts 100% of the water within an hour. Water damage is no joke and I was worried that the phone still wouldn't work after being dried but Rosney Perez at MobileSource assured me they would not charge me for the service if the phone didn't work. While they were able to extract the water, unfortunately my phone wasn't fully functional and they were true their word and did not charge me a thing. They even recommended I visit Apple to see if they could help me and thankfully they were able to. Its rare to find such an honest business that does not try to gouge you. When I came back I was told it was my screen protector and not the screen! They could have easily fooled me because I wouldn't have known the difference. In January, I apparently had the "black screen of death" on my Galaxy 4S (ironically and unfortunately I received after the death of my cousin). By the time I took it to the closest repair shop (ubreak...whatever they are called) my screen had mostly returned. They told me the problem and said it would be $155 and pay half now and get it back in a day or two. I wanted a second opinion and came to Mobile Source after driving through the maze of warehouses. The rep told me if he would take it in the back and put it on the machine. Alarm bells went off in my head...what are they going to do to it in the back? He came out a minute later and said it was the same problem as the other place told me. He also said that it was not the original part. He further said, it was working fine at that point and there was no sense in fixing it and I should wait and see if continues to work. Three months later, the phone works fine. Like an auto repair shop or a HVAC company, they can tell you anything and you really don't know. Duh, I was even banging on a table the night before reading suggestions online. How much more honest of a business can you ask for? I kept forgetting to write this, but since the phone won't charge in the car (online says you need a 2 amp charger), I remembered as I plan to check it out with these guys tomorrow.
