I needed a laptop keyboard replaced. It's a fiddly job on this particular laptop, so I wanted somebody who does this all the time to do it. At the same time, I didn't want the machine to be out of service for very long. Mr Sabirdjinov was super accommodating and flexible. We worked out a plan where I sourced the part and he did the installation - in a matter of two hours! Over lunch, basically. He cleaned up a bunch of dust and re-did my thermal paste while he was at it. And for a very reasonable fee. Great service. Great communication. I couldn't ask for more. Not too many tech professionals would take on a project to basically improve on someone else's prior mediocre work. But Paul/Tech Pro Repair did exactly that, and was the consummate, detail-oriented, punctual, reasonably-priced Tech Pro(fessional). I initially contacted 3 different vendors and sent them the same, exact job needs: 1 replacement camera, 1 new install camera (preferably with Power-over-Ethernet, to minimize the wires across my attic), an upgrade on my 8-channel analog DVR to a 16-channel hybrid version (to allow for the analog and digital cameras seamlessly functioning on the same system), and fixing a former installer's work in mounting a monitor that ended up being less than expected and an annoyance. Paul/Tech Pro Repair responded first of the three (and one of the three didn't respond at all). Paul asked specific questions and asked for several pre-visit photos to understand the requested work, and we had a visit to the house for an estimate scheduled within minutes. Given the holiday week, everyone's schedules were tight and several jobs the day of the estimate ran later than expected, and Paul kept me updated the whole time. Once he came to see where we needed things replaced, installed, and upgraded, he said I would get an itemized quote for the entire job (including some wish list items) within 24 hours, and indeed, a 4-page , 3-part quote provided three different repair and payment scenarios within 24 hours as promised, leaving the choice for how to proceed entirely to me, and with no pressure whatsoever. Paul and I set on 1 of the proposed quotes, and set a date within days. He said he'd come at 9am. He came at 9:01 am. He estimated a 3-5 hour job. It easily could've been a 3 hour job (or shorter), but Paul is a perfectionist, took the time to answer all my curious and annoying questions, explaining why things were happening as they were happening, and then went beyond each specific job to make the wiring, set-up, and all the associated set-ups even better than they were when someone else tried doing the job before. He fixed the wire pasta jungles that I had at several places in my house, zip-tying and organizing it all, unscrewing and re-screwing in-wall cabling, power sources, and overall flow of the hardware, accessories, and software. He really did leave each area he worked on better, more organized, and fixed little things that were annoying us for months or years. And he did not take any break at all in the 4 hours, and didn't even accept a bottle of water because he was focused on completing the best job possible. In addition to all the hardware and accessories that we agreed to, Paul came prepared with all kinds of supplies, connectors, power cords, HDMI cables, and the like that we unexpectedly needed. He never made it awkward when some of these had to be used because we didn't have any at home, and since these were not part of the original job and quote. I've worked with other "experts" who end up having to pause the job just to get missing supplies that they probably should have always had. Not Paul/Tech Pro Repair. Paul troubleshot an annoying Power-over-Ethernet lack of connection, noting that a misgrounded power cord that we had always used was the source of the issue. He explained why he had to log into the phone app first, and then showed me when he deleted the entire login, so that I could be the primary camera accessor and "sharer". It was a complete collaboration the entire 4 hours. And a truly pleasant experience. When it came to payment, there were no surprises, even though Paul certainly could have penny-pinched for all the extra supplies and time he had to invest in the original job, and the extended work he sensed I truly wanted and needed help with. The night of the job, when I had a question about one of the cameras and its night-vision settings and features, I texted Paul, and he responded within 60 seconds with an explanation as well as alternatives, if those were better for us. His explanation confirmed that Paul was as concerned about the customer's feelings and knowledge after the work was completed, as much as when I felt I was engaged as part of the work when it was being done. It's not often you find an honest, literal Tech Pro that is focused on the quality, expediency, and look of the job at hand, while doing so with a speed and skill that is becoming way-too-rare these days. Paul's been in the business for 15+ years and it shows. He also has a storefront that collaborates with the video camera side of the business, and I'm so glad for that. He is a true professional that I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending to anyone for any tech-related work that Paul knows how to do. And if he doesn't do something, he'll tell you. I sent a request via Yelp to get the back glass repaired on my iPhone 14 pro max and was comfortable taking my phone here due to their high Yelp rating. They said they could fix the glass and it would take 3-4 hours. I brought my phone in and it was fixed in under 3 hours. However, as soon as I picked my phone up, it began to restart every 3 minutes. This issue did NOT exist when I dropped the phone off. I brought it back and they asked me to leave it for a couple more hours to fix it. Then I received a call about an hour later requesting the passcode. While I understand them needing the passcode to test it out, I wasn't really comfortable leaving my phone passcode open without me there. I went to pick up my phone, and it still was restarting every 2-3 minutes. They offered to fix the phone for me, but at that point, they had created a major issue that didn't exist when I dropped it off and I wasn't leaving my phone with them to break it even more. I had already made 3 trips to the store that day and wasn't about to make 2 more to fix something that wasn't broken when I dropped it off. I took the phone back and took it to Apple, who advised me that they had broken the compass and the ambient repair sensor in the phone. So ultimately, I decided to invest in a new phone rather than pay for Apple to repair it, but lesson learned. Should have taken my phone straight to Apple in the first place. Giving 2 stars because they processed my refund without issue. I would never take any of my electronics back here. read more

My iPhone 7 is ancient, and its fast-draining battery and loose charging port finally prompted a call to T-mobile sales to buy a new one. But after two sales persons and over 90 minutes of roundabout sales talk, I said "thanks but no thanks" and yelped iPhone repairs. And, messaged one through the link, as well as clicking on the link to connect with other repair stores (nice Yelp feature; highly recommend.) Given my last and only exposure was a Coral Springs service that was citing about $90 for a port replacement, I was delighted with the handful of offers that were at or below $90 for *both* battery and port replacement. I chose Tech Pro Repair, who quoted $80 for the tandem repairs, and arrived an hour after getting off the phone with them. A small repair shop in a mostly forgettable strip mall, parking was easy and service was immediate. I was told repairs wold take like 45 minutes, and my only gripe was that in reality they took almost an hour and a half. So I had extra time to entertain myself and exist without a phone. Yes, not exactly panic room stuff, lol, but it's funny how different life is without a smart phone "on the go." Given the added wait, the store was kind enough to volunteer an extra $10 off -- plus, they replaced my screen which had a single small crack in one corner! Really over-and-above service. And, really appreciated. One day I'll buckle and get my iPhone 12/13/14 Pro, but until then, if I have an issue with my 2016 model, I know where to do for help. I originally left a negative review here but the owner reached out and offered to recheck my hardware I took the offer and don't regret it. My hardware was tested until they could reproduce the issue, when they did they fixed it and tested the fix just in case. Along the way I was kept updated which I appreciate very much. When I went to pick up, the owner didn't charge me a dime.
