I need my laptop in order to do my work, and so when it completely died on me one day I was frantic, because without it and the programs installed on it I was SOL. I'm sure my laptop and I were a real pain in the ass to these guys, who spent a couple weeks longer to fix my computer than the couple days the receptionist thought it would probably take when I dropped it off. My laptop would have one problem after another, but they were able to resuscitate it to a functional level, and despite all the extra headaches and some extra parts, they didn't charge me for anything more than the original quoted price. However, one thing that is actually sort of a pet peeve of mine in general, is that when I would call to check up on the status of the repair, they wouldn't always call me back when they said they would, so I had to chase a little bit to get a detailed explanation of what was going on. But other then that, they were always really honest about everything and really went out of their way to help me out, so I highly recommend them to anyone that needs anything serviced on their computer. read more

Wow. Joel is legit. To keep it short and simple: these guys are in it to deliver an amazing customer experience. Making a buck is second to doing right by the customer. I saw it in how they treated me and saw it again when I went back and watched them handle another customer **I WOULD SEND MY GRANDMOTHER TO THESE GUYS IN FULL CONFIDENCE THAT THEY WOULD TREAT HER RIGHT** -- that's saying a lot. I had an accident with one of my devices that one repair shop quoted as practically a total loss (~1k to repair after charging me a mandatory $65 for a diagnostic) and that apple was charging $750 but could balloon if things didn't go well. All this on a business machine that little more than 6 months old with minimal use and with a return time on the order of days to weeks. On a whim while visiting family in Miami I looked up local shops to see if there was anyone that could actually do repairs on-site. I called Joel up and he said to bring it on by -- he'd take a look at no cost and give me his personal opinion. I took it in, he took it apart, and he suggested a fix that would run me a fraction of the cost of what other people had quoted. He didn't have the necessary part and I was leaving town before he'd be able to get the new part (over the holidays) so he even went as far as to suggest other places for me to go get it fixed! I instead hopped on Amazon and had the product shipped in overnight and the very next day I went in, he swapped the parts out, and per his prediction everything worked fine. He literally saved me hundreds of dollars. WHile there someone else had brought in a machine in fairly bad shape and Joel took great care to explain all of the different risks involved and suggested no less than three different options the person had. Most impressively, Joel was fairly straightforward in making it clear to them that for the cost of a repair they were better off selling the machine for parts and buying a new device. That's two situations in which he's literally sent business away because it was the right thing for the customer to do. And it both cases we've decided to leverage him where we could because we trust him. As long as they're in business this is where I'll be sending my machines to get repaired. read more

I got a keyboard problem with my 3yo mac book air. I went to Apple Store and they tried to charge me 550$ to change the complete keyboard panel or buy a new mac. They didn't give me any other option. I decided to look for alternative and found Mac Wizard. On the same day, just walking in, they were able to look at my computer, open it and tell me what was wrong with it. My keyboard was extremely dirty, they just had to clean it and they needed to reset the logic board. At the end it cost me 75$ and my computer is working like a charm ! My old iMac (2006) recently broke down, and it had been struggling for years. It was slow, out of memory, and updated OS just made it worse. This caused overheating, which fried my video card. Joel and Mac Wizard fixed my video card, and put in a new hard drive all for a very fair price (at least for me). Didn't need the data off the old hard drive, but he could have retrieved it. The computer is lightning fast now, so glad we fixed it rather than junking. Joel was very informative, and provided me a lot of advice about how to keep my revamped iMac going strong, as well as how to best care for my newer model. I went to the Apple Store hoping to get some help with my Macbook that I purchased back in 2006. After a couple of minutes my laptop would just completely turn off and I never heard the fan start to kick in so I figured the fan was the issue. I was right. Unfortunately my laptop is considered "vintage" by Apple's standards so I was out of luck until I went on Yelp. Did a search to see if there was a repair shop nearby and based on the reviews, I gave this place a shot. I called them up, explained my problem and they were willing to help me out immediately. Unfortunately the price wasn't cheap but then again I probably would have paid a lot more elsewhere, especially over in Coral Gables which was where Apple was referring me to. Mac Wizard representative was very friendly and knew exactly what to do. He replaced my fan and even gave me recommendations on what should be done for long term use. He even installed free software on my Macbook to help monitor the temperature as well as being able to control the internal fan. Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and I will definitely be going back to these guys whenever I have anymore issues. I highly recommend them if you have a Mac and they do guarantee satisfaction so if you have any problems with what they fixed within 90 days, just turn it back in for a quick fix without paying extra. read more

The manager, Joel, kept the doors open ten minutes late for me to drop my computer off on my commute home from work. Easily the worse customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. I brought in a MAC book Pro for a screen issue and after 3 months + it is still not repaired, despite making 3 trips to Miami from the islands. Last week I was told it would be sorted in 3 working days but went to collect today and it was not fixed. Now they are telling me it needs a new logic board, despite their own in-house diagnostics ($45) saying it needed a new display. Terribly frustrating as several deadlines were missed, despite emailing and calling weeks in advance and my wife even diverting her flight to Miami to drop it off. They rarely answer calls and only started responding to emails occasionally when I got annoyed. Total waste of time and effort and if you want a MAC repaired take it to Apple, it will save you a ton of grief, frustration, and money! The premises are tidy and professional looking but don't be fooled, this is the most disorganized business I have ever had the misfortune to come across. You either have to deal with a Spanish gentleman who speaks not a word of English, or a Russian guy who has no clue how to communicate with humans or ho to run a business. You have a choice with most service related businesses and you can also keep them honest with sites like YELP. If you need something as precious as a MAC fixed, take it to Apple and skip the cowboys! I give them 1 star because that the loest you can give. read more

Started @9:43AM 01/13/2016 of a Google search. Found this so....... I clicked and went to their website. I need to get a iMac fixed because it is dead. Doesn't turn on, did last night, this morning, nothing Called all numbers and got no answer at first, if they changed numbers then change the website to make it that when people need to call, then correct information on there. Now not sure if I want to drive over there and may have to go to the Apple store @ Falls, so it will be expensive to repair a 2010 21.5" iMac that will not, at all, power on. Probably bad power supply but I don't have the stuff to tear it apart to see.... Apple stuff is great, it's all we use, but cost a lot and when it screws up cost a lot to repair, but last a long time. Update@9:49AM 1/13/2016 The 305-254-8484 number answered and I left a message. They maybe good @ what they do...I used to do the same thing back in the 90's, run my own business fixing PC's. Back then Winblows was it. The good old days in Miami....memories...anyway 10:05 Guy called me back. Talked for a few minutes, going to bring it to them and he thinks maybe power supply issue. OK, if it's $275 to fix ok...if it's more, then this going to ebay for parts and move on. Paid $1154.00 for it back in 7/17/2010 w/apple care so = 1296.00 divided by months (67) , so it cost me $91.34 a month. Hope she got the use out of it........... Update@1:00PM 1/13/2016 Ok, this guy Joel, he is real cool. I am NOT the only person in Miami that on this day, could not use their 2010 A1311 iMac 21.5" There was another guy there, that used his last night and today, it was dead Anyway, this guy he checked my iMac, took the glass & screen off....same power supply. Same problem. Seem like it's a thing happened to all 2010 A1311 iMac's. Anyway this guy is a REAL GOOD GUY. If you EVER have a problem with you Apple product OR a PC then take it to this guy. We talked about maybe he wanted to give space to customers and charge them for the space and such to not only bring it to fix it but to actually fix it yourself. That sounds great BUT this is Miami, and in Miami people like to sue people. Honestly, in my opinion, the liability factor is too much present. So, Joel, don't do it. Trust me, you'll be better off with it. Have a great day and like I said, you (the customer) has a problem with your iMac or Macbook or whatever and it's out of warranty (and you don't like the high prices at the Apple store or the Geek Squad) then come to this guy. read more
