It hit just under the side were the screen protector was not all the way down and my cover is flush with my phone. Apparently the screen protector wasn't cracked which I thought that was it, it was the phone underneath. Oh boy, back to the store. Erica was not there and I was told it is not covered and he will see what he can do to ask the manager but parts not in anyway until mid week, so I waited until the next day to reach Erica. I showed her the phone and she said they have seen that happen when phone breaks underneath even though I have never had that happen other than when the screen protector was broken then broke the phone. Much to my dismay , I will be paying again, but she did say I only have to pay half just for the screen and not the labor, the best they can do so will wait until midweek. While I understand the shop has to make a profit, selling $13 fans for $49 while already charging $150 for a fan installation and a dusting is predatory on the consumer. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM . If you have a computer issue or need to upgrade your system, contact this company and you will not be disappointed. I had previously used Pst Computers but they seem to have gone out of business. So, what to? The answer was Yelp to the rescue which quickly came up with BBM Tech Computer Solutions. I gave BBM Tech Computer Solutions a phone call telling them I wanted to erase Microsoft's Edge and be able to receive email from petrxinc.com. I was told their hourly rate for work at my home location was $198/hour and that it would take about an hour to fix the matter. I said OK, and we set up a time and date. BBM Tech Computer Solutions showed up exactly the time and date they said they would. Their computer solutions expert, Brandon was friendly, polite, and professional. He immediately discovered that the reason I was not receiving the email I wanted had nothing to do with my computer, but with the sender's server that blocked all emails going to gmail addresses. He then advised me not to remove Microsoft Edge as it was embedded and its removal could harm my other computer functions. Initially liked this store. Donated really great computers with no hard drives. Found out they buy…read morethem so came back later and sold a couple. On the last visit, I bought in a Mac computer to sell. Their process was the same: write your name on a piece of paper and we'll call you with the offer. Turns out it was wayyy older than I suspected and we had a conversation that started off friendly where I said no problem I'll come pick it up asap but worst case Monday or Tuesday when back in the area. The conversation continued to a point where the store associate (I think this was the owner) said the computer won't even go online and I politely said you're wrong, this was our reception desk computer that plays music on Spotify and YouTube and the receptionist uses it for notes. After that and an additional comment rubbed me wrong I said I would be in firmly on Tuesday and ended the call. I got a reactionary and emotionally charged call back telling me I cannot hang up on him and I need to come now or the computer will be disposed or I would be charged storage fees. Reminded him I signed nothing, nothing stated time frames to me and it's only a few business days, so he can do that but our retainer lawyers would send an affidavit for damages or possibly take further action. Very rude, very unnecessary, and very inconsiderate. I live 20 minutes away and work 7 days a week running multiple call centers. I will not be forcibly inconvenienced by someone that just lied to me about a computer they claimed to have diagnosed. Computer is definitely worthless if it's as old as he says but telling me it doesn't work makes me question how genuine someone is when they just finished diagnosing it. This is someone who is emotional and needs to win. I asked earlier if he'd want to give me 10 bucks for it (would be worth it for me vs. my time picking it up, gas and listing it for 20-30 bucks on Craigslist or OfferUp). He said no at first which was okay. But at this point he said he would send me the 10 dollars so he doesn't have to see me. I clarified it would be 15, as he wanted my keyboard for 5 dollars. He said no so I told him he better not do anything besides hold my property until Tuesday and he again threatened to get rid of it. In the end he sent me a Zelle for 15 dollars. I called back and stated he'd better have all the data removed before he does anything and after silence was hung up on. This happened 2 or 3 times. On the next call I told him stop playing games and he said it's my phone not him. Convenient considering my phone never does that and I use it for business all day, 7 days a week. I doubt my data will be removed. Overall happy to have experienced this. Was considering white labeling their company to bring back my old tech company. Never. I wouldn't want emotional children helping my customers.

It was the right decision. The manager, Francisco Estevez, explained to me and then showed that the problem wasn't the hinge, but the frame it was attached to under the back cover. If left as is the screen would eventually break. He gave two choices to fix it, replace the cover for over $100 plus the installation cost of $80, and at least a week's wait, or, if I didn't mind having two very small screws visible on the back of the case, $80 and I could wait while it was being fixed; 45 minutes later I left with the repair done. Honest, straight forward and well priced. Couldn't have asked for more!
