Even when he gave me the contact info for a supplier he insisted on staying on the phone while I looked up the contact. The only reason I don't just send him my dive computer is because I'm in Colombia but if I ever need my dive computer serviced back in the US I'll defiinately take it there.

Before I found him, I contacted 5 different dive shops who either quoted me a lot more money than this normally costs, told me they would be shipping the watch to another facility (read: 1-3 weeks turnaround time), or it would take several days at the local facility. None of those options worked for me as I was only in town for 2 more days. Divers Direct recommended Arturo, and I gave him a call. I explained the situation and he just told me "come on by, I'll get it done today". Not only did he replace the watch battery, but he also serviced the transmitter and re-paired it with my dive watch. He pressure tested both as well. When I took my phone cover off, I saw that the whole back now had a pretty design, lol. I saw on Apple's website that they had appointments available for the Genius Bar. We took a chance in hopes that they could help us without an appointment. We arrived shortly after they opened at 11 am on Sunday. After explaining why we were there, we were directed to the back of the store where the Genius Bar was. We were checked in and told to go to a certain table to wait for someone to assist us. After waiting for a few minutes, Loni came over to take care of my issue. After checking their system, she told me that my phone model not only needed a new back glass, it also needed something with the camera and the cost for repair was going to be a little over $500! We decided to get a new phone instead. Loni set everything up and made sure that everything from my old phone carried over. We are not tech savvy so she was a tremendous help! The store was packed when we were leaving. I'm glad we took the chance to go in without an appointment. Now the only thing I have to deal with is remembering my password for my email so that I can access some of my Apps that I was kicked out of when I switched phones.

But it did not live up to the rating with my experience…read more (Dee) the guy who checks you in and tells you what's wrong with your computer was nice and seems like a good trusting character, I had a video card issue and got it back from a different place baked which temporarily fixed the problem but I wanted to never have to have to go through a tech baking the card again so I ask Dee to have his tech check it out and fix it once and for all. Which he sounded like he knows how to fix this problem so I was comfortable enough to leave my computer there over a couple days for them to send it out to their technicians to fix. However, the couple days turned into over the weekend and not sure if I will get it back by Monday. so I asked for the computer back, Dee said they find nothing really wrong with the video card but replacing the screen would be ideal since there's 2 lines there. I contemplated and agreed to let them fix the problem that didn't really bother me but since they suggested it, I guess it won't hurt. But, that's when it all go downhill from there. There's a wait for the part that's needed to fix the computer. Since I insist to keep the computer instead of leaving it at the store when they need to order the parts n wait for it to arrive to the store, they charged me $100 deposits in case I won't go back to let them fix the computer, but the part never came and they returned $60 to my credit card and kept the $40 for restocking fee or the tech to open my computer to check for issues? Also, they never call or notify me for returning the money or not able to fix my computer. I had to find that out through my credit card bill. Talk about unprofessionalism. So disappointed with them. I guess I will tell them how unhappy I'm with their service on Yelp would be the right thing to do since they don't want interaction with their customers. This is total scam to me. They open my computer saw nothing wrong but suggested I replace the screen yet the place they order parts from took forever n supposedly they never got the part, so they decided to charge me a fee because of what!? How is that on my tab? I would be aware of this place if you plan on using their service to fix computer. Btw, you walk in, there's no computer there, it feels super sketchy. I had previously used Pst Computers but they seem to have gone out of business. So, what to? The answer was Yelp to the rescue which quickly came up with BBM Tech Computer Solutions. I gave BBM Tech Computer Solutions a phone call telling them I wanted to erase Microsoft's Edge and be able to receive email from petrxinc.com. I was told their hourly rate for work at my home location was $198/hour and that it would take about an hour to fix the matter. I said OK, and we set up a time and date. BBM Tech Computer Solutions showed up exactly the time and date they said they would. Their computer solutions expert, Brandon was friendly, polite, and professional. He immediately discovered that the reason I was not receiving the email I wanted had nothing to do with my computer, but with the sender's server that blocked all emails going to gmail addresses. He then advised me not to remove Microsoft Edge as it was embedded and its removal could harm my other computer functions.
