Ernesto is amazing: I spilled coffee all over my laptop computer, and shorted out the battery as well as made some keys non-functional. I had tried to clean it, to no avail, and I was truly afraid I would lose all my data, photo files (a LOT, since 2006). I was on a trip, and out of state, visiting my mom. I called Complete Computer Repair, and Ernesto not only volunteered to come after 6pm to pick up the computer (going to northern Ft Lauderdale/Pompano Beach which is way out of his way), but already before coming gave me advice about what could be wrong, and a quick, amazingly reasonable quote for the work it might need. He kept me informed throughout the process, and had a spare keyboard overnighted, again very reasonable cost, because he knew I really needed the computer back quickly. He ultimately changed out and updated my OS, due to corruption on my hard drive, spending hours and hours making sure that not only did the new OS function but all my settings and special little programs were saved and functioned well! He did this for a fraction of the cost that would have been reasonable to expect for the time and work he put into it. He was extremely knowledgeable about all possibilities, and very up front about costs and recommendations. Then he personally drove back out and delivered the beautiful, clean, new and completely updated computer to me, two evenings later! ERNESTO ROCKS!! They are incredible!! Absolutely amazing. I spilled water on my MacBook Air and my computer died - wouldn't turn on, wouldn't do anything. I was panicking. I called Ernesto late on a Wednesday night - he not only took the call, but told me I could drop the computer off that night at his home office. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We brought the laptop to his home. He didn't seem frazzled by the issue (I totally was, but his relaxed "oh I can fix this" demeanor was so calming and reassuring). After we talked, he told me he would have it fixed by the next day. The next day! AND HE DID! His price is completely reasonable (way less than you'd expect), he took the call & drop-off late in the evening, he fixed the computer by the next day like he said he would, AND dropped it off to me at my place of work - which was a long drive for him. I had originally taken my laptop to Office Depot where they quoted me $295 dollars for the repair, as well as they needed to ship my laptop off for two plus weeks. Excellent service!!. I have never written a review before, usually too busy or not motivated enough, until now. My computer went dead in the middle of my business proposal which was due in one day. I panicked and call the computer repair places in the area. Some recommended new parts which when added to labor was the cost of a new laptop. I was just about to throw out my laptop when a friend gave me Ernesto's number. He picked up my computer, and by 12:00 the next day he called me to say it was ready!. After spending countless frustrating hours on the phone with Apple tech support, then being referred to an 'Apple authorized' repair service center that was going to have me wait a week just for an appointment, I searched online for assistance. I took a chance with this company as the web site indicates service for Apple computers. Ernesto came by within a few hours of the phone call, tested the computer in my home and determined the issue, took it with him, fixed it, and returned it to me within a few hours. Completely repaired the SAME DAY! Although we ran into a couple of challenges in getting it up and running properly again, Ernesto led me through them and always was there following up to be sure it was working. Ernesto is a savior! My dog knocked over my daughters computer while she was using it and then it started operating super slow. I did some basic trouble shooting on it and realized the hard drive was dying from the fall. I called Complete Computer Repair and spoke with Ernesto. I explained what happened and he emailed me an estimated invoice straight away. I agreed to the price and he came over to our house that evening and picked up the computer. Ernesto fixed my daughters computer the next day and scheduled to bring it back to me when it was convenient for me. Our laptop crashed. I first called DELL what a joke they wanted to charge me $150.00 just to send it to them not including the coast of any repair. I then called Ernesto. He tried to trouble shoot the problem over the phone at no cost. When that failed he came to my home diagnosed the problem and gave me my options. He did not push a repair and left the decision totally up to me. I agreed to the repair and cost ( which was extremely reasonable) and he took the unit with him returning it in a timely manner with no hidden cost. So Ernesto, is based in Broward, he drove to Kendall to fix my PC, drive it back to his work place and then drove back to return it. All within a couple of days. I would have to say for the situation my computer was in, he delivered it in a good amount of time. The guy is easy to deal with, and can easily work around your schedule. He does his best to fix your computer, he goes as far as to order the part for you. He also responds pretty quickly, when you have a concern or question. He also keeps you updated so you don't have to worry, and get in contact with easily. I whole heartedly agree with the other reviews on this site. I 2 Laptops that I thought needed new DC jacks as they weren't charging properly. It was a $240 job. Ernesto came to the house at 530 pm picked them, started working on them, called me at 730 pm to update me on the first machine and at 830pm to discuss the second machine. Turns out the jacks didn't need to be replaced, and fixed both for a flat fee of $50 which I considered more than fair. He dropped them off the next day. Ernesto is the best, the very best! Do not look elsewhere for your computer service needs. I was attacked by locky ransomware with the odin extension and virtually all my files were encrypted and Ernesto immediately went to work on them as I turned over my computer and an external hard drive to him. He amazingly recovered greater than 500 files -- remarkable! I could not have been more pleased -- saved me for these were important files which would have been lost forever. Having already posted a review on Google, it wouldn't feel right if I didn't post another review for Mr. Ernesto Alvarez on a different forum. His level of professionalism is next to none. After spending more than enough time to repair my Mac desktop at my home, he was more than happy to guide me through a few steps to remove a dvd out of my disk drive over the phone a few days later.
