I am an Information Technology professional with more than four decades in the business, My desktop…read morecomputer was old and needed to be replaced. I researched smaller independent companies in the Fort Lauderdale area. I hoped to receive more personalized service and created a short list. I made phone calls and inquired about computer replacement and configuration. When I called BBM Tech Computer Solutions the call was immediately answered by Brandon Mannie. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM . If you have a computer issue or need to upgrade your system, contact this company and you will not be disappointed. I admit that I seldom recommend things from books to restaurants to motion pictures to anything, BUT I wholeheartedly will recommend BBM Tech Computer Solutions. Do yourself a favor and if you have a computer problem or issue, give them a call. You will be pleased with the results!

Brought in my gaming pc to them because it needed an ssd and it had a custom water loop cooling…read morereservoir that needed to be replaced. The guy (his name is Julian) ended up recommending me a thermalright phantom spirit evo 120mm which is basically a big 3 fan block that attaches to your cpu that goes for around $60-$90 along with a charge of $175 for the 1tb ssd which is very fair. I'm about to give 4 reasons on why you shouldn't come to this place for computer fixes or upgrades and why you should really find someone off of facebook marketplace to do it for you instead. This place makes a profit by overcharging high labor costs. They know how computers work and how to fix things, but yet, they will still be unfair and overcharge you because the average customer doesn't know how things work and just wants their stuff fixed. 1. Julian charged me $150 "labor" for a simple ssd install ontop of the $175 I was already paying for the ssd, charged me $200 for "parts and labor" when the thermalright cooler is maybe $100 max brand new if you got it somewhere overpriced, and to make matters worse, I got hit with a $40 "tax". My total bill was $565.71, when in reality, it should've been around $350-$380 total... 2. Julian installed the thermalright cooler the wrong way, one of the 3 fans was supposed to be in-front of the ram sticks area on the motherboard, not on the opposite side. 3. I was getting my cpu changed from intel to amd by a guy on marketplace and I had to text Julian mid install, ask him for the amd bracket that came with the thermalright cooler, and waste 20 minutes to go pick it up from his shop because he didn't give it back to me when I went to pick up my pc. Hell, he didn't even give me the other parts that came with the cooler until I asked. He had to nerve to say "I usually give them back just in case" but he didn't this time. When you pay for a brand new component that goes into your computer, the person installing it should give all of the accessories and the box back along WITH your computer. 4. When I booted up my pc, it literally dual booted both windows 10 and windows 11. Because of this, I had to fix it myself. Unfortunately, I ended up losing all of the data on my 5tb hdd because of Julians mistake. Years of documents, videos, and photos gone. Had Julian installed only 1 version of windows onto my ssd the right way, I wouldn't have lost all of my data. Overall, terrible service. If you ever want your stuff fixed, please don't waste your time coming here and go onto Facebook Marketplace instead. You'll find people who are more honest about what you might need help with and how to fix it. They won't charge you $100 for labor like 'My Florida PC' will.

Top notch repair shop!…read more I've been meaning to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S6 but I was trying to hold out a little longer for the the next model. I ignored the scratches and the simple crack across the main screen. I dealt with the phone getting slower and slower. That was until the latest Lollipop update killed my phone... After I installed it, I could not get signal, access wifi, or even open my gallery long enough to transfer photos before it would crash again. Unwilling to accept defeat, I sought out help. I wandered into this new repair shop next to Doris Italian Market and was helped by Chris. He offered to restore the phone, my data and contacts for less than my deductible, and it would be ready in a couple hours. He also offered to fix the screen while he was at it. By the time I had lunch and ran a few errands, my phone was ready with everything the way it was, plus a functional Lollipop update! Great experience.

Not only was Nick…read moreable to come to her house the same day but he quickly found the problem --a defective fan caused by an "exploding battery.". Because of the age of the computer, he did not recommend replacing the fan, but just removed the battery ( unneeded because the PC was not being used as a tablet) and suggested that we wait and see if that helped the problem ( it did) and replace the computer if the problem reappeared due to preexisting damage to the fan caused by the "exploding" battery. I was impressed by his honesty in not pushing us to replace the fan and his skill in quickly diagnosing the problem. In addition, when he tested accessing email on the computer, another problem re passwords emerged. He patiently spoke to my aunt's email provider and was able to guide us through the process of changing her email password. He spent a lot of time explaining what he was doing to my aunt and made changes that would make the using the computer easier for her to manage. Highly recommended --very pleasant to deal with, very knowledgeable and honest and very reasonable in his charges!
