He took my phone told me come back in 30-40 minutes so I walked around Atlantic ave and checked out some of the local shops. When I came back he had opened my phone and reconnected the battery and didn't want any money ( of course I paid him). NO advertising and NO big rent = a great price from a super nice guy!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went in to Techy this afternoon as the back of my iphone was cracked due to an old and bad battery. I went in to Lamar who told me he could fix it no problem as well as replace the battery. While he was taking down my information, I received a phone call and Lamar heard the entire conversation and knew my phone was working just fine - there were no problems with the phone itself, just the cracked back. When I went to pick it up three hours later, it was NOT WORKING AT ALL. I asked Lamar for help several times and he told me he was too busy. I left the store and then went back in and demanded he look at it. He told me it was my carrier, I knew it was NOT the carrier as it was working just fine as I said. I ran quickly to Xfinity in the same plaza and at first they said it was not working because I had no Sim card, (Lamar removed the SIM card and did not put it back) so I ran back over and Lamar swore he did not touch the Sim card. I went back to xfinity and they were kind enough to give me a new SIM card but the phone would not work at all. They said they had never seen all the error messages, they called their top guy in to help me and he could not fix anything, he called HQ and said that TECHY definitely broke my phone and the only hope I have is the apple store. I went back to TECHY and again LAMAR would NOT look at my phone and told me I was crazy and he did not touch the card or do anything to my phone. Um, why is it now broken? I am now home at 8pm with no phone, no back up phone and will go to apple first thing in the morning. I am so upset, I should have gone to APPLE in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE - they are extremely incompetent and RUDE. I can not believe they get any good reviews. I just went in and re read the reviews and apparently I am not the only one whose phone they broke. Read the bad reviews before the good ones, I wish I had. I am giving one star so this goes through, but if I could i would give MINUS 1000.

My phone literally broke in half and needed a new screen which I was glad this is all it was…read more I found this place near me for a fairly reasonable price $95. Erica waited on me and said no problem it will be about an hour. Left and came back but she was still working on it, it was a mess. A nice seating area inside so just relaxed. She also added a screen protector for me, mine was broken and can't reuse them. Lo and behold before I could post the review, less than 24 hours I came home from work and I dropped the phone . It hit just under the side were the screen protector was not all the way down and my cover is flush with my phone. Apparently the screen protector wasn't cracked which I thought that was it, it was the phone underneath. Oh boy, back to the store. Erica was not there and I was told it is not covered and he will see what he can do to ask the manager but parts not in anyway until mid week, so I waited until the next day to reach Erica. I showed her the phone and she said they have seen that happen when phone breaks underneath even though I have never had that happen other than when the screen protector was broken then broke the phone. Much to my dismay , I will be paying again, but she did say I only have to pay half just for the screen and not the labor, the best they can do so will wait until midweek. They have phone accessories and electronics you can purchase just not for my older phone alot of iphone stuff. It is located in the Promenade in Coconut Creek. My mom went to fix the screen of her MacBook Air and they charged her almost 400 dollars. A little over a month after the service was done, the screen showed these lines like you can see in the photo and they said that's because she dropped her computer (something that never happened).... now her computer is not working anymore and she already paid almost half what a new computer would cost even though it says that the warranty for any service done is 90 days on her invoice! Don't come to this store, they're cheaters and scammers! My mom is gonna talk to her lawyer and pursue a case against then shortly.

They repaired both phones in about an hour and charged me $200 for both phones. My son immediately walked next-door to AT&T and traded his phone for a new iPhone. I kept my phone, an iPhone 11, and experienced many issues with the phone. The message on my iPhone indicated they did not use authorized glass to repair my phone and therefore my facial recognition features and thumbprint features worked intermittently depending on the app I was using. Since it did not bother me terribly, I did not go back and ask him to fix it. A few months later I cracked my glass again and went back to the same store thinking they might give me a discount of some sort since I had the issues I described above and I now needed a new piece of glass anyway.I explained the situation to the lady at the store and she politely told me that she could not give me a discount. I made peace with that and asked her to go ahead and fix the glass again anyway. When I asked her how much it would be to fix the glass she said $125. I said but it was $100 last time I did it only a few months ago. She informed me that $125 was the best price and that was final. Needless to say, I will not be using the store in the future.
