My mother's phone had a simple crack in the back of the phone but the people at Fixit managed to royally screw up her entire phone. We were back and forth from Fixit for about a week straight. There were times that the flashlight did not work, they broke the front screen, the speaker was not working, and the microphone was not working. After going back and forth--and paying for the repairs each time--the phone is now past help. They managed to glue the phone to her case which broke the back screen yet again and now her microphone does not work when she calls people. Please do not go here it was a major waste of time, money, and effort especially for it all to result in a phone more broken than when we brought it in. read more

I had the screen repaired 2 times over 3 months and it was broken (not cracked just cant read it) again. No warranty and I had to pay more each time. Ended up at Apple for full price so I am out all of that money. Do yourself a favor and take into Apple for service instead of getting after market parts. After calling and being put off for 4 days. Finally, I got the response that they won't fix it right. Do Not recommend to anyone! read more

Awful place and will never be going here again. Had them fix my iPhone with cracked screen and they did so but with faulty glass. After bringing the phone back they told me they told me that I had dropped it again which I didn't and it was in a life proof case at that. The screen itself is not flush along with the button and the screen constantly freezes. After an hour argument with the person behind the counter including many rude remarks towards me they wouldn't even show me another iPhone repair they had done only speculating more to the fact that they had used faulty materials. I dropped my iphone and the screen shattered (boo hoo!) I looked at my options to get it fixed, $125 at apple, $199 on my insurance. I didn't see the point in paying that much since I am due an upgrade soon. So I did a little research, although I was nervous about taking it to a unoffical looking fix-it store, I found a deal on groupon and did a little Yelp search to confirm it was worth it. It seemed that Fixit in Boca was under new management and had good reviews since the opening. I got a great deal on groupon, plus I could use a coupon code at checkout. I dropped by to check out how to go about getting it fixed, did I need an appointment, how long would my phone be out of action etc. A guy at the desk told me 15 minutes tops, which was perfect. In all honesty, it was more like 10 minutes and I left with a phone that looked like new! I was so pleased. He did offer me a tempered glass screen for $15 which I declined (since I have some at home) and I was appreciative that it wasn't a hard sell. My only negative is that he required my passcode to check the screen worked, after I gave it, he went in the back to fix the phone. Considering that many people have credit cards on their passbook etc, it made me a little uncomfortable, but the guy was nice and told me they shred the papers after they complete the work. Overall very happy with the fast service, good price and phone looks like new. read more

I dropped off a phone to be repaired. The front screen was cracked. They said it would take a week to repair. When I arrived a week later to pickup I was told they broke the back screen in the process of fixing the front. They said they would need to order the part for the back and it would take another week. The man helping me was very rude and just kept saying these things happen. In the meantime I would have to use my phone with a shattered back. After leaving I noticed that the icons on the screen were jumping around. I advised the store and when the back glass came in they said they would now have to order a knew front glass because it was not installed properly causing the jumping. They said they have insurance for all of these issues and everything was covered. I waited an additional week. They also said I must leave my phone at the store until the parts arrived. I received a phone call from the shop on 12-30-15 from a very angry person who yelled at me that I was to pick up the phone and nothing was going to be repaired. I was screamed at and told that I was trying to defraud the business. I was not given the opportunity to ask questions or respond to such a unprofessional ludicrous statement. I went in and paid over 100 dollars for a front screen replacement and now weeks later have a phone with no front or back. That is once I go in to retrieve what's left of my phone. I hope that anyone looking for electronic repair will go elsewhere in the future and this business will shut its doors. read more

Be prepared to come back over and over again. Had my screen replaced to learn that the aftermarket screens they use do not fit correctly and come off of the face of the phone and expose the insides of your phone for further damage. Only after 1 week did I start seeing the light shine out of the sides of my phone and the screen detaching. I dropped my phone (with a protective case on) and the entire glass screen popped off and had home button damage. I brought it in to replace the home button module and now my fingerprint unlock option will never work again. I went in to ask to repair it and the repairman told me it will never work again. I wish this information was disclosed prior to me having them repair that piece, as I would have chose another company or went direct to apple for repair. I would be wary of using this company since repairs are inferior and u wind up with constant problems. I will never go back. I've spent upwards of $400 here and and get excuses and horrible service read more
