It was shattered and possibly needed a whole new "house" as it was called. He was so nice, he could see my son was a little upset that he had to hand his phone over (he's on the spectrum and electronics are his special interest) and acknowledged him with kindness asking him if he was okay and explained to him what needed to be done. Will def come back for more electronics needs in the future.

I originally came in just to buy a charger for my laptop, and not only did I get exactly what I needed, but at a great price too. It's rare these days to find people who are both passionate about their work and genuinely want to help others. That's exactly the kind of service I received here. I truly appreciate the experience and highly recommend this place to anyone needing computer help.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went in to Techy this afternoon as the back of my iphone was cracked due to an old and bad battery. I went in to Lamar who told me he could fix it no problem as well as replace the battery. While he was taking down my information, I received a phone call and Lamar heard the entire conversation and knew my phone was working just fine - there were no problems with the phone itself, just the cracked back. When I went to pick it up three hours later, it was NOT WORKING AT ALL. I asked Lamar for help several times and he told me he was too busy. I left the store and then went back in and demanded he look at it. He told me it was my carrier, I knew it was NOT the carrier as it was working just fine as I said. I ran quickly to Xfinity in the same plaza and at first they said it was not working because I had no Sim card, (Lamar removed the SIM card and did not put it back) so I ran back over and Lamar swore he did not touch the Sim card. I went back to xfinity and they were kind enough to give me a new SIM card but the phone would not work at all. They said they had never seen all the error messages, they called their top guy in to help me and he could not fix anything, he called HQ and said that TECHY definitely broke my phone and the only hope I have is the apple store. I went back to TECHY and again LAMAR would NOT look at my phone and told me I was crazy and he did not touch the card or do anything to my phone. Um, why is it now broken? I am now home at 8pm with no phone, no back up phone and will go to apple first thing in the morning. I am so upset, I should have gone to APPLE in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE - they are extremely incompetent and RUDE. I can not believe they get any good reviews. I just went in and re read the reviews and apparently I am not the only one whose phone they broke. Read the bad reviews before the good ones, I wish I had. I am giving one star so this goes through, but if I could i would give MINUS 1000.

Unfortunately this is a business that takes advantage of customers with predatory pricing on mediocre lower end products. With an service fee of $150 for basic fan installation and a dusting, you would think when they say at $49 a fan you would be getting decent fans right? Think again, I was given 4 $13 Antec fans. Pack of 4 at bestbuy goes for about $50. While I understand the shop has to make a profit, selling $13 fans for $49 while already charging $150 for a fan installation and a dusting is predatory on the consumer. The people inside are friendly, but beware of the price gouging, and beware of paying much more than what anything is actually worth, including the products, and the service. On top of that the rear end ventilation of the case still had dust on it. Grand total was $380 for a four fan installation (lower end fans) and a dusting. Disgusting
