My mom went to fix the screen of her MacBook Air and they charged her almost 400 dollars. A little over a month after the service was done, the screen showed these lines like you can see in the photo and they said that's because she dropped her computer (something that never happened).... now her computer is not working anymore and she already paid almost half what a new computer would cost even though it says that the warranty for any service done is 90 days on her invoice! Don't come to this store, they're cheaters and scammers! My mom is gonna talk to her lawyer and pursue a case against then shortly.

He was so nice, he could see my son was a little upset that he had to hand his phone over (he's on the spectrum and electronics are his special interest) and acknowledged him with kindness asking him if he was okay and explained to him what needed to be done. SUPER SERVICE & SUPER PRICES…read more This place is a hole in the wall you will be telling your friends about. The first time I went there there was a line of 5 people waiting for service. In NYC there is a saying "People don't wait in line unless it's worth it". This place was worth it. He took my phone told me come back in 30-40 minutes so I walked around Atlantic ave and checked out some of the local shops. When I came back he had opened my phone and reconnected the battery and didn't want any money ( of course I paid him). NO advertising and NO big rent = a great price from a super nice guy!

I almost never bother writing reviews, but this place is such a disaster it honestly needs to be…read moreshut down. Zero stars. Total scam. Oscar is rude, unprofessional, and even admitted that putting screens on is basically "Russian roulette" because he doesn't know if the screens are good or bad. Are you kidding me? I brought my phone in to replace a cracked screen with a black line--no lag issues at all. After his "repair," the camera stopped working (it was perfectly fine before) and the phone began freezing, which were brand-new problems caused by HIM. I had to return twice. He admitted messing with the camera but brushed it off like it didn't matter. Huge warning sign. I was charged $170 for a cheap, off-brand screen that obviously didn't fit my iPhone 16 Pro Max properly. He never warned me it might not work right. The black line returned just from being in my backpack, and instead of taking responsibility, he tried to blame me. The screen protector was intact, no dents, no cracks -- clearly the screen itself was defective. The receipt claims "FREE EXCHANGE" if the part's bad -- that's a lie. Then it got worse. First he said he'd charge me $70 for a "better" screen. Then it jumped to $120. Then $180. All because I was "upset," which he flat out admitted (and who wouldn't be?!). At one point, he even said $400 total, which is absurd -- I could've just gotten an actual Apple screen for that. In the end, I spent around $340 on a non-Apple, low-quality screen, because he kept changing the story. He's careless, disrespectful, and takes advantage of people to squeeze more money out of bad parts. He rushes the work, doesn't handle the phone carefully, and when problems happen, he gaslights you and tries to shift the blame! No legitimate business man operates this way. Do NOT go here unless you want to get scammed, lied to, and overcharged.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went in to Techy this afternoon as the back of my iphone was cracked due to an old and bad battery. I went in to Lamar who told me he could fix it no problem as well as replace the battery. While he was taking down my information, I received a phone call and Lamar heard the entire conversation and knew my phone was working just fine - there were no problems with the phone itself, just the cracked back. When I went to pick it up three hours later, it was NOT WORKING AT ALL. I asked Lamar for help several times and he told me he was too busy. I left the store and then went back in and demanded he look at it. He told me it was my carrier, I knew it was NOT the carrier as it was working just fine as I said. I ran quickly to Xfinity in the same plaza and at first they said it was not working because I had no Sim card, (Lamar removed the SIM card and did not put it back) so I ran back over and Lamar swore he did not touch the Sim card. I went back to xfinity and they were kind enough to give me a new SIM card but the phone would not work at all. They said they had never seen all the error messages, they called their top guy in to help me and he could not fix anything, he called HQ and said that TECHY definitely broke my phone and the only hope I have is the apple store. I went back to TECHY and again LAMAR would NOT look at my phone and told me I was crazy and he did not touch the card or do anything to my phone. Um, why is it now broken? I am now home at 8pm with no phone, no back up phone and will go to apple first thing in the morning. I am so upset, I should have gone to APPLE in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE - they are extremely incompetent and RUDE. I can not believe they get any good reviews. I just went in and re read the reviews and apparently I am not the only one whose phone they broke. Read the bad reviews before the good ones, I wish I had. I am giving one star so this goes through, but if I could i would give MINUS 1000.
