I spotted this small shop the week before asking the proprietor as I walked past whether he sells cell phone covers. He answered in the affirmative. I suffered another week with a less than stellar- that is, torn- cellphone cover before finally coming in. I almost didn't not come in because, in past, getting a cellphone cover usually was a hassle usually where I get told I have to buy a new phone to get a phone case/cover to fit. But this experience was a breeze. It started with being added to unlock my phone screen to verify what model it is. After that, I was walked over ti the shelving (like a built-in bookshelf) where covers that fit my model are. In under one minute I chose two (2) of them. There is no indication the covers I bought are Used. I think they are New merchandise and so glad they are still available in my model size. The proprietary is of small we ords, very professional and professionally dressed, and helpful. I paid by swiping at Checkout counter the way many people now pay for quick-service food. He made a point of thanking me before I left. He and this shop will be told of mind for whatever happens to my phone next.

I want to share our full experience with this repair shop so other customers can make their own…read moreinformed decision. We brought our iPhone 17 Pro Max here for a screen replacement. After only a few days, the replacement screen stopped working properly. We returned to the shop, and they told us that the screen they had installed was defective. They replaced it a second time. Unfortunately, about two hours after the second replacement, the exact same problem happened again. At that point, we returned to the shop and asked them to remove their replacement screen and refund our money. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we experienced what we felt was very rude and aggressive treatment, and they refused to give us a refund. We then took the phone to an Apple Store, where we had the screen replaced again. Based on the information we received there, the screens previously installed by this repair shop were not genuine Apple displays. After the Apple Store replacement, the phone worked properly. Because the shop refused to refund us, we disputed the charge with our bank and provided documentation and evidence supporting what happened. The dispute was resolved in our favor, and the payment was returned to us. This review describes our personal experience and the sequence of events as they happened. We gave this business an opportunity to correct the problem before asking for a refund, but unfortunately the issue happened again almost immediately. Based on our experience, I strongly do not recommend this location. I would not trust them with another device, and I would never use their services again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went in to Techy this afternoon as the back of my iphone was cracked due to an old and bad battery. I went in to Lamar who told me he could fix it no problem as well as replace the battery. While he was taking down my information, I received a phone call and Lamar heard the entire conversation and knew my phone was working just fine - there were no problems with the phone itself, just the cracked back. When I went to pick it up three hours later, it was NOT WORKING AT ALL. I asked Lamar for help several times and he told me he was too busy. I left the store and then went back in and demanded he look at it. He told me it was my carrier, I knew it was NOT the carrier as it was working just fine as I said. I ran quickly to Xfinity in the same plaza and at first they said it was not working because I had no Sim card, (Lamar removed the SIM card and did not put it back) so I ran back over and Lamar swore he did not touch the Sim card. I went back to xfinity and they were kind enough to give me a new SIM card but the phone would not work at all. They said they had never seen all the error messages, they called their top guy in to help me and he could not fix anything, he called HQ and said that TECHY definitely broke my phone and the only hope I have is the apple store. I went back to TECHY and again LAMAR would NOT look at my phone and told me I was crazy and he did not touch the card or do anything to my phone. Um, why is it now broken? I am now home at 8pm with no phone, no back up phone and will go to apple first thing in the morning. I am so upset, I should have gone to APPLE in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE - they are extremely incompetent and RUDE. I can not believe they get any good reviews. I just went in and re read the reviews and apparently I am not the only one whose phone they broke. Read the bad reviews before the good ones, I wish I had. I've been coming here for several years for key fob and watch battery replacements, and they have always been fast and efficient. I always purchase the lifetime battery, and in my opinion, it's the most cost efficient way to go. You pay a little more the first time (around $25, give or take), and all your future battery replacements for that item are free. It's a fantastic value and has definitely paid for itself.
