I brought my PlayStation in for repair and got it back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. It was clearly taken apart in an attempt to fix it, then labeled "unfixable" or too expensive to do so--but instead of reassembling it properly, they returned it missing screws and without the internal factory cover. This is completely unacceptable. It's not your decision whether something is "worth fixing"--your job is to either repair it or return it exactly as it was given. What I received back was careless, incomplete, and honestly a mess. I ended up ordering the parts myself to try to fix it, and that's when I saw just how poorly it had been handled. I brought my iPad in to be fixed and I was told someone would contact me in about 4 hours once it was finished. Nobody contacted me, the store closed, and I went back the next day to pick it up. Still, nobody had called or contacted me. When I went to pick it up, the screen was not shattered anymore but my home button was broken, and the touch screen was completely broken. I brought it back and asked for it to be fixed. While I was waiting, I heard people in the back talking about me negatively. The attitude I received from the person that I worked with was completely uncalled for. Smart remarks and genuinely couldn't care less about the work he was about to complete for me. I was extremely hesitant to leave my phone there but did it anyway because I was desperate. Then he tells me I had to give him my code to unlock the phone. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. He told me that the email from my servicer says to give them the code but the email says to to turn it off so he lied to my face. Don't trust these guys. I have the new Samsung flip4 phone and the screen bubbled up and would make a weird noise when I closed or opened the flip part. I had an issue with and iPhone XS Max because the back glass broke. They offered $150 for it and it would take 3 hours. When the phone was returned it had a shitty repair and the front glass(which had no issue) was now popping out. At first they tried charging me for an issue that they caused, but ended up doing it for free and messed up 3 times and it still is popping out. Would not recommend if you want to fix your phone, but if you want to have more issues then you started with then this is the place to go. Would give 0 stars but Yelp has the lowest be 1. read more

I called this establishment prior to arriving to find out if what I needed was in stock. I was told they did have what I needed in stock and it would take about 2 hrs to replace a severely swollen battery that had started to liquefy. I arrived and things changed, the new battery was in stock, however received this really weird response that that bottom rear corner of phone back cover was slightly cracked from the battery swelling and it "MUST", absolutely no way around it be replaced.They did not have the back of phone in stock here or at another location and it would be over a week to get the replacement cover. I tried to see if they would install new battery now and I would come back in when the new back cover came in. NO! I received this song and dance that this couldn't happen because the back of phone would break more and possibly fall apart when they tried to reinstall it, was told that it would have to undergo a waterproof test too, "this was all required by Samsung, no and ifs or buts. The phone was not under any type of warranty/service plan, it wasn't under any type of accident insurance either but yet these things were mandatory by Samsung not to mention this was well over 100 bucks to do all this. I ended up leaving and found another repair place on the North side of Boynton Beach Blvd East of Congress that changed the battery and reinstalled the original back cover without any issues took 15 mins and cost about 76 dollars, the phone is good as new, btw the back cover went on fine without falling apart or sustaining any more damage. I just didn't like to song and dance from this company I personally felt as if they were adding more unnecessary steps/itemd to jack up the repair cost. I didn't ask, want or care about waterproofing on a 3 year old phone I just needed new battery that wasn't on the verge of exploding. They gave me zero options everything was a must or mandatory blah blah blah. read more

It needed a new screen which they had in stock and fixed it within the hour. This store is very professional. Juan recommended a high grade screen protector. The Samsung phones are more subject to damage due to drops. This I know from experience. Jaun installed a cellhelmet and you can't even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. Juan is the best!! Super kind and helpful. Found out from this location that I got screwed over by another UBreakIFix location (Royal Palm, DONT GO THERE). You would think all locations would have appropriate training, but they don't. Based on their honesty from the start I would definitely always trust these people. They fixed my phone, called with updates, and did everything to at least try to save my data on the phone from being lost. They were upfront with me and showed that the other ubreakifix provided me with a a low quality screen, which they claimed was higher quality. They also pointed out the other location forgot screws when putting the phone back together. They made the effort to correct all of this. Sad I wasted my money at the other location, but very happy with them. Even on a busy Saturday they were on top of it! read more

Brought in my broken laptop, they ordered the parts, but it turns out the issue was likely with the motherboard and it would more beneficial to purchase a new laptop instead. They offered me advice about how they would proceed, as well as additional options. The gentleman informed me that I could sell the screen and put the money towards a new laptop as well! On top of all of this they didn't charge me for the cost to get the part or the labor to install since it didn't work! Thank You so Much! You guys saved me. My phone had locked up after trying to install my required software update. I had a 2 day nightmare with no phone and to get my phone to work everyone told me they would have to erase everything. Photos business contacts.. you could only imagine the magnitude of hardache this would have caused. I brought my galaxy s10 plus phone to Mauricio and his Master Tech. Marc. Well, in 30 minutes I shopped around the complex and came back and now my phone was actually working and all the data still intact. Problem solved!! The crazy part, Mauricio refused to take any money from me. He said please refer your friends.... Wow! No charge! Awesome!!! This is unheard of. I wasted almost 2 painstaking days insurance claims from warranties, tried Best Buy and dealt with Samsung and Verizon. Yuck! Just save yourself some headache and take it to the real Pros. I tried every reset on the phone every which way on the internet and all the other so called experts had no clue including the representative of Samsung at Best Buy. I came to Florida for vacation when my screen started acting up and I needed to get it fixed. This place had high ratings on Google so I chose to trust them with my iPhone XR to do a simple screen replacement. Right off the bat, the person in the front was having difficulty taking down my information and made me repeat myself multiple times for basic information. I came back within the time frame they suggested and although my screen was repaired, the Face ID did not work although it did prior to them working on it. The technician deleted my existing Face ID and told me to try inputting a new Face ID but my phone just kept saying to move closer to the camera or move farther or whatnot. It would not let me input a new Face ID and the technician asked me to come back in another 45 minutes to see if he could fix it. When I came back, he told me that my phone camera was dirty and that they were not to blame for the issue. When I was visibly upset he then told me the issue might "fix itself in a day" and that it wasn't his fault. The insane unprofessionalism to not even take accountability for their negligence is what astounded me and I literally cried in their store at the loss of one of the most prominent features in my iPhone. My front camera portrait mode is also now not working after their "repair", and the solution they suggested did not work with the time frame of my stay at Florida. After a huge hassle with their corporate managers, I now have to go to a store in a city miles away from my hometown to see if the damage they did to my phone is fixable or not. Their customer service is HORRID, their technicians are clearly not trained properly, and they try to lie to me to get away with their mistakes. They never communicated to me that there was a risk the repair could go wrong or that it would be too difficult for them. They ruined my vacation and the most important part of my phone. I would NEVER come here again or recommend it to anybody based on my experience. read more
