The high ratings and past Yelp awards are well deserved here. Five stars for sure. My husband had taken his cellphone here when he'd had a problem and was very happy with their service and expertise. So when I had a problem with my laptop, I brought it here as well. Melissa was great. We explained what had happened and she took it from there. I'm hoping we won't have any future problems, but if we do we know where to go. read more

Smart Phone Fixer - Inside - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Boynton Beach, Florida

I did not have a good experience here. I called and was told the battery that I needed for my iPhone was in stock. Visited the store the next day and the tech guy took my contact info and told me my phone would be ready in fifteen minutes. I said I would wait right outside the store, in my car. After about a half hour, I went back in the store and the tech guy told me that they didn't have the battery I needed. I asked why he didn't just let me know right away instead of keeping me waiting. He said he was too busy to tell me. I was annoyed by his attitude but stayed calm, and he said he could order the battery and it would be there the next day by 1 pm. It was not. Did not deliver as promised, wasted a lot of my time and I had to find another shop to service my phone. Not recommended. read more

My five year old battery in my Galaxy S8 Active was fading fast. I called around and nobody had a battery or offered any service. I called here and Alex said they did not have one in stock but would be happy to order me one and install it when it came. Wow! Great customer service! When I was notified the battery was in I made plans to stop by for the install. Gunner, the boss was manning the fort when I came in, servicing a customer with laptop issues. Gunner was very pleasant and promised to have my phone battery installed by the time I finished lunch. When I returned, my phone was ready and on line with its new battery! The staff and the owner are very knowledgeable in serving their customer's computer smart phone needs. Pricing is a fraction of what you pay at an Apple store! I see why they have received Yelp Awards for the last 5 years and Happy I found them in our community Yelp directory! Thanks Gunner and Alex for a Five Star Experience!!! read more

Used them in 2021- no problem. Today I take an iPad and told them my home butting doesn't work. The screen had a crack and they quoted me a ok price. When I PICKED IT UP they told me Touch OD would not work as Apple is the one that reprograms it. It is a feature I always use and was not told that when I dropped it off otherwise I would have taken it to an Apple Store. Best part- they offered to take the new screen off, put the cracked one back on so I could take it to Apple...seriously? Be careful- they must not be Apple "certified" it seems read more

I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was so worried that my cracked screen would cost an arm and a leg but they were honest and it only came out to about $115. I cracked it at work while on the road and couldn't get it fixed because I need the phone throughout my twelve hour shift, which is during business hours. It got so bad I could barely read anything and it was cutting my fingertips. They only took about twenty-five minutes to fix and while I was waiting I stopped by a dive bar that was located two buildings over in the same plaza. I would recommend that place too. If you need anything fixed for your phone, I recommend driving to this location. It was well worth my thirty minute drive. Two thumbs up for this establishment!!! read more

This place is great, I came here to have a swollen battery that started to liquefy to be replaced. They installed the new battery while I waited for a very reasonable cost. I had been to another repair place prior to coming here and it was a night and day difference. This establishment did not try to sell me anything that wasn't needed or force me into preforming unnecessary tests like the other repair place did. I will be coming back here in the future, the staff here are knowledgeable, friendly and affordable. Two thumbs up. read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!!! Let me start by saying that I found this shop because the place I originally purchased my phone through caused me to lose service by attempting to fix my charging port. When I took the phone back to my service provider they were unable and unwilling to help. I walked into smart phone fixer and Gunnar immediately knew how to help. He ordered a new part and Jonathan and Melissa were able to install it a few days later and I now have a working phone! My service provider had insisted this was a "tower issue" and had zero interest in helping. I will forever be a client of smart phone fixer!!! Thank you all so much!!!! read more

I am just visiting from out of state. I was in desperate need since my phone wouldn't turn on this morning. I looked on yelp and found Smart Phone Fixer. Jonathan happened to pick up the phone and he was super helpful. I came in praying he would fix my phone and he did. He changed my screen and battery for me. He was very professional, helpful and patient. Jonathan is a tech expert and the manager Melissa was very nice and personable. If you're in the area and need your phone fixed this is the place. Now I know why they have a 5 start rating. You guys are my life saver today! read more

On a visit to Florida, my son dropped his brand new iPad Air in the case, shattering the screen. I called many places and Smart Phone Fixer was the most helpful, most honest, and was able to fix it during the short trip. It turned out the new screen they installed itself had an issue (not their fault), and they were incredibly helpful and fixed that without charge. Highly highly recommended. read more

I went to the "Fixer" because my old phone was hopelessly locked and I could not transfer data to my new phone. It was not an easy job, but Jonathon kept at it until he was able to get into the old phone and transfer everything over. THANKS JONATHON !! You are a savior. I would certainly recommend these guys for any smart phone issue. James S. read more

LOOK NO FURTHER! The customer service and service is STELLAR! They're honest and have helped me out twice! Reasonable prices and even honored a military discount for me, which is tremendously appreciated. The wait has been reasonable as well, and there's a bunch of shops you can go to in the meantime. If not, there's a TV and good magazines so you don't get the wiggles as you have phone withdrawals, lol. In all seriousness though, they are the best, hands down. read more

Unfortunately, I have had the need to have many phones repaired over the last few months. I think it's starting to be a game with my kids to see who can break their phone quicker. Every time I have been in the store they have taken care of me quickly and the repairs are excellent. I have tried other places in the past and none stack up to the "Smart Phone Fixer" guys. If you need a good repair at a reasonable price and quick turnaround these are your guys. Thank you for helping me keep my kids in working phones!! read more

My IPhone screen was badly cracked, so based on good Yelp reviews, I took it to Smart Phone Fixers. I walked in without appointment at 4:30pm, expected they'd tell me it would take hours or a full day turnaround so I'd need to come back another day, but I was happily wrong. They took the phone, told me to come back a couple mins after 5pm (even though posted hours showed store closes 5pm). So I came back 35 mins later, they handed me repaired phone. Works great, cost less than other repair shops...outstanding experience! read more

I contacted Smart Phone Fixer to fix my iphone 11 pro max screen that i cracked months ago. I was not looking for something very expensive since i was trading it in for the iphone 14 pro max the same day and get the most credit on the new phone. Within 30 minutes i received a quote on yelp from the owner. The quote was for $119 to replace the screen. It was the best price i have received after checking with few companies. I got there on Saturday and the owner greeted me, confirmed the price and fixed my phone in about 45-1h at the time as he had other customers to help. We went for errands and returned 2h later to get my phone perfectly fixed. If you need repairs and good advice i strongly recommend Smart Phone Fixer. Will definitely be back for more repairs! Thank you!! read more

We originally drove to Boca to have a screen repaired at a place we had been to previously, only to find out that they went out of business. My eleven year old daughter was desperate to have her phone fixed THAT day, because you know, when you're that age NOTHING else matters. I yelped businesses closer to home and thankfully this one popped up. We had already tried the place on Congress - they were overpriced. We popped in here and within 30-40 minutes she had a new screen and we both had screen protectors put on our phone, and the price was still less than the place on Congress and Gateway! Hopefully we don't need to have a screen replaced again, but IF we do, we will have it done here. read more

It is a pleasure to leave this review for others to benefit by, as that is how I came to this shop. Great first impression! Spotless lobby and warm greeting by Alex won me over quickly. Alex was very knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful. He answered all my questions regarding my cracked iPad screen, was forthcoming and transparent about the entire process and how long it would take. He was patient with me as I was on a pre-planned trip in the middle of all this (!) (isn't that how it always goes?) and he replaced my iPhone screen protector for me in a few short minutes. Thank you Yelp reviewers for helping me find this excellent repair shop and thank you Alex for an excellent experience. I recommend this store highly and will return again. read more

Really nice people and fast service! Didn't charge me to check my Samsung Pad when I messed up the memory card slot since he couldn't do anything for it without making it worse. Brought my phone in for a software upgrade. I was told that it would be the same day repair as long as I brought it in the next day. The next day I was there by noon as agreed and I was told that's a technician changed his days off at the last minute. They took my phone and told me he would get to it the next day which was a Thursday. The girl at the front desk was very impolite and also advised they would not honor the Yelp discount because the repair was so cheap (but exceeded the minimum in the offer.) I called on Thursday and the tech said he had a problem loading the software and would have to do it on Friday. Around 330 in the afternoon I I called to check the status of the repair, and was told by the owner that he could not get to it because it was more valuable work to be done my job was only $35. He said he would get to it on Saturday. Around 3 p.m. On Saturday I called and they said that they weren't going to get to it because they were still too busy. By that point I had researched on the Internet how to do it myself so I went back down to the store to retrieve my phone. I sat there for 30 minutes before the girl at the desk acknowledged me. Granted she was helping another customer , but at least a it'll be a few minutes comment would have been appreciated. When it was finally my turn, the tech overheard me at the front desk and came out to apologize and to apologize for the owner telling me he couldn't get to the work because it was too cheap of a repair. I told the tech that I was going to attempt to do it myself, and he helped me locate the needed software. What upset me the most is that it only took me 5 minutes to reload the phone, and they had it for 3 days and couldn't muster up 5 to 10 minutes to get it done. Very disappointed in that they turned away the Yelp discount and would take my business elsewhere next time. 1 star for the tech who came to help me locate the software. read more

My boyfriend accidentally knocked my phone off the kitchen counter. The screen cracked/broke when it hit the floor. $100 insurance deductible, Gunner at Smart Phone Fixer replaced it for $50. Amazing service! They didn't have the screen for an older iPad, so it was ordered and arrived very quickly. The repair was completed the same day and my iPad is back to normal :) I was also having problems with my iPhone after taking it to Apple and was assisted with it. So kind, prompt and efficient - the way businesses used to be. I drove from Wellington after reading local reviews about the local ifix places and I am glad I did. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for assisting me. read more

I had an issue with my Samsung Galaxy 10e, on an international network and the phone was not connecting and was a hardware/software problem. I called on a Saturday morning, Melissa responded within 30 minutes and went through problem with me, very patiently, I then came down to the store, she helped me restore my service and within minutes my phone was operating like new, anyone can fix phones, but not everyone responds quickly and listens patiently with the customer to solve the problem read more

It's rare that I write a review about a place that I didn't even pay for services at, but that's half of the reason why I am writing this. I have a Motorola Droid Ultra, that at three years old, finally kicked the bucket. The phone ran into a software issue where it would loop itself at the boot screen. If I started the phone in "Repair Mode," I received a message that said "No Command." Essentially, the phone was not going to turn on. I assumed it was a lost cause, but worth a shot to see if anyone could bring my phone back to life. At a minimum, I would have liked to have saved a few recent files on it, but the rest of it had been backed up to Google before it failed. Three different cell phone repair shops looked at the phone briefly, and then told me there was nothing they could do. Smart Phone Fixer was then recommended to me by my local Verizon shop, and I figured why not give it one last shot. Surprisingly, Cell Phone Fixer spent a full day actually trying to resolve the issue. They took the phone apart, discovered the reason for the failure, but unfortunately agreed it was a lost cause. I'm giving them this rating not because they fixed my phone. I'm doing this because at no cost to me, they still spent a full business day trying to discover the cause of the failure. To me, that is going above and beyond. Even if the odds are against them, this shop will try to help you. I think that's all you can ask for from a business. To me that shows the staff here cares. If the next phone I purchase has a problem, I know where I'm going. read more
