Recently I had a laptop that out of know where started to act crazy. On its own, multiple windows would open and close. So the natural thing I thought of was maybe I have a virus. So I ran all my virus protection including Malware and it still acted crazy. I asked an I.T. guy for assistance and he did his thing and told me the computer was shot and to buy a new one. To me, that was devastating as this was a new computer. The last thing I wanted to do was buy a new computer. I ended up hopping on Yelp, went into the search area, and had it send my issue out to vendors on the site. In a short time, they responded back to me, started the dialogue, and told me what the issue would be. He broke it down in simple and easy steps. When I followed it, it was exactly what he said it would be, a bad screen. Based on that, I told him to order me a screen. When the screen came in, I was called by the technician. At the store, the tech greeted me, told me he would have the computer fixed the following day. Which is exactly what he did do. Overall I am impressed by the business and the willingness to diagnose an issue without me even giving them a cent. They were fast, gave me a warranty, and I will certainly use them in the future if the need ever arises. read more

So I had to update my review & remove a star due to the lack of communication. When my laptop was ready for pick up no one called me, when the diagnostics was complete & a part needed to be ordered no one called me & when the part arrived & I needed to drop my laptop back off for the work to be done, no one called me. In each of these instances I had to call the store to follow up it would've been if staff called or text status updates. read more

Do not go here, I decided to drop off my MacBook Pro at Experimax to repair the display that was damaged because apple had over a week wait for the a Genius Bar appointment and Experimax promised it would take 3-4 days. After waiting nearly 2 weeks they returned a MacBook that had a low quality 3rd party screen that was dim and cloudy in comparison to the original. After expressing my disappointment and frustration to Josh the manager and explaining that I had felt misled, the only remedy he offered was replacing it with a screen that they would remove from a used MacBook that they had for sell in the store which had signs of wear and scratches. In summary go to Apple, this was a nightmare I ended up waiting twice as long as I would have if I went to apple and paid $500 for a used screen, apple would have replaced it with new first party parts for the same... I am extremely disappointed and will leave this review everywhere that I can. The worst experience i have had in my life, the day i purchased a MacBook Pro from this company! They advertised a 2019 i9 16" MacBook Pro, i called them to confirm availability to which the said yes, so i sent a friend to collect it, they gave him a 2018 MacBook Pro?!?? I called them back they said it was out of stock and they would order it. 2 weeks later they contacted me that it had arrived and 4 days after I sent my friend back to collect to which they replied, it's out of stock!!! They sold my laptop!!! I called them back for a replacement to which the clerk said there was a 2019 i9 32ram 512ssd available at $100 extra (I thought this was unfair still I was willing to pay it) on arrival my friend produced the 2018 and $100 for the trade only to be told it would be $179 because of an error!!!! (Dhfhfhfhdh) ok so we agreed to pay the $179 my friend then took a pic of the specs which showed a 2019 i7!!!! On calling back they said there is nothing they can do!!!! They are the worst!!! Their principles are screwed up and through it all the owner and manager refused to speak with me!!! They deserve to be shut down!! Totally unfair to a customer. read more

I went here back in June because my battery was apparently broken and needed to replacement, they fixed it for cheaper than any where else would have but their great service didn't stop there. A few months later My battery appeared to break again, I went in and they told me they'd fix it for me in the warranty but did warn me it might not be a battery issue and it's just semi fixing the issue. Yesterday on Christmas I had the same issue start up again, went in today and explained the situation and how I understood it might not be my battery but begging for a way to save the memories I had . They were able to fix my issue without replacing the battery again and gave me the chance to save everything and hopefully have a working phone until I could get a new one. Each time I went in I saw a new person and they treated me amazingly with great customer service accompanied with actual results! So thankful I have my memories on my phone and to have a new place to fix all my electronic needs! Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to fix their stuff!! read more

I needed some help transferring data from an old Mac laptop to a new one. I have a background in tech and totally could have done the work myself, except that the adapter I needed was more expensive than just having them do it! So I dropped it off on a Thursday and was told 3-4 days because they were backed up. The following day I got a call that the job was completed and to come pick it up! I waited a few days to write this review to make sure everything on the new machine is functioning properly, and it is. My iPhone fell into a cup of water and stopped working, so I decided to stop by. There was nothing they could do to get it working 100%, BUT they did clean out the water on the interior of the iPhone free of charge. Which I believe led Apple into give me a new iPhone for free. (I didn't tell Apple I dropped it in the water and they could not determine that) Although I did not purchase anything, I would highly recommend their products and services. Always used to go here for frequent screen repairs when Dale was still involved but brought in a Iphone 5s which wouldn't power up, and told me to take it to Apple Store which was even more useless. Found Ifix your I on Okeechobee blvd. who quickly fixed it be removing and replacing the software for $21. I am thrilled and will now be a faithful customer of IFix your I. My 17 year old son dropped his iPhone 6 as I picked him up after school on Friday. The screen shattered. The phone is insured but the ONE thing that isn't covered is a cracked screen. We were referred to Experimac by a family friend. 45 minutes later, a new screen was installed. We were greeted as soon as we entered the building. The process was simple and quick but not cheap ($104 + tax). Check in with Yelp to get a $5 discount. We'll be back if we need to repair another screen. I dropped my computer off because It was getting hit and burning up chargers. 6 hours later I called to get a status update and they had yet to even look at It. The guy said he would call me back with a diagnosis in an hour...no call. I went this morning to pick It up because I need It for work and told them I was going to be late for work so I need It now. They open at 10 and I was committed to 10 for work. They decided that was a good time to open It and start working on It? I was like ummmm hello??? I just asked for It back I need to go to work. Was referred to Experimac by a friend owns a local iPhone Fix company. Came in because my phone was glitching and turning colors had water damage and I didn't know what to do. They said they would clean it out for me and if I needed to replace any parts they would let me know and that it would take an hour and a half maybe two hours. I got an email an hour later saying my phone was done. When I came to pick it up, no parts were needed, phone was working how it's supposed to be all in a timely matter and for a super cheap price!
