This store is the worst ever in electronics . Called on phone come on in . They have a website that gives estimates for trade ins. Showed him an excellent condition phone he offers based on franchise estimates the lowest amount and he will not honor the franchise prices they give on website . This business is a nightmare for phone repairs. I went in to replace a cracked screen and was told I should also get a new battery because it was warped. I decided to have the work done, but two days later my phone wouldn't turn on. When I went back, the technician claimed the internal LCD was cracked due to a hard drop. This never happened. I took the phone to another repair shop, and they immediately told me that the two screws holding the screen down were missing. The screen was floating, which caused it to crack. The technician at Techy Boca Raton refused to do anything and blamed me for the issue. I would not trust them with any repairs again. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Technician replaced the cracked screen on my iPhone 8s. When I got home, the screen did not respond to my touch and I had to keep rebooting it. I called Techy and he told me to come in and he fixed the issue. Highly recommend! read more

I expected to need the charging port on my iPhone replaced but Lorenzo took my phone to the back and came out 5 minutes later and said it was done! It just needed a little cleaning and adjustment! That really made my day, and now I know these are folks that won't take advantage of customers. Repaired cracked screen on iPad Air (1st Gen) same day as drop-off, pretty inexpensive ($120 plus tax). Very pleasant customer interface, extremely detailed explanation of process. Only cons were that they have an automated notification system thats ends you mistimed updates, but they called when item was ready for pick up. Also, it is unnerving ti provide access code- maybe they could/should suggest just freeing up the control center to check efficacy. Trust is a major component for leaving your tech unlocked with a stranger! read more

CAN I GIVE THESE PEOPLE A 0? At first it seemed to be a nicer low-cost tech place. DO NOT LET NICENESS FOOL YOU! I went in and the receptionist greeted me well. I explained that my son's laptop had a cracked screen. He called the other tech from the backroom. Both went online and found a replacement screen. I ended paying up front over $200. I needed the laptop and did not want to buy a new one. WHAT A MISTAKE! They took about a week to get it ready for pick up. I went home happy because my son had his school laptop back. The clicker was all over the place and did not work at all. HERE WE GO AGAIN! I took it back and they almost did not want to fix it. The clicker is not the screen, but I sore of argued and so they fixed it. SO I BELIEVED! They call me back and I went home again with the laptop. This time, I was not happy, but worry about something else going wrong. My son took the laptop to school and did not open it until he got to the classroom. He tried to open it, but discovered that the frame was off. Being a smart kid, he did not try to open it. He simply asked a classmate to allow him to use his. I took the laptop back to this "WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR WORK PLACE." Immediately, the tech said, not the screen, but the frame is broken. I did not feel like arguing being retired and trying to manage stress so I told him to check and see if there is something that he could do. He replied, I will call you when I know more. I also needed to go pick up my children from school. As I tried to cross the parking lot headed towards my parked car, the backroom tech a very big guy comes out to loudly and firmly repeat what the other tech had already said, "WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FRAME." Again, I said got to go pick up my children from school. Give me a call when you know what you can do for me. Later, I got the call from the backroom tech who again said we are not responsible for the frame and I cannot fix it regardless there is not replacement parts for it. I returned a day later to pick up my broken laptop. People they replaced the screen and they had to take the frame off to replace it with a new one. THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR WORK. Well, my daughter paid $256 for this phone to be repaired - twice! Yesterday was the second repair. That same day the phone stopped working again. Today I went back to get them to actually fix it, or I suppose get her money back. They refused to fix it and then refused to give the money back. The repair guy got nasty with me too.
