My husband and I are beyond frustrated the store manager Sohrab was absolutely deceitful and mislead us by pushing a promotion that we believed was beneficial. He is a scammer and wants to make commission and doesn't care about the customers. We will try to void our contract due to his misleading marketing and unfair practices. I strongly believe he is not the right fit for a manager. My husband and I have spent over 7 hours collectively to no avail. Please do not go to this T-Mobile store unless you want to get scammed. I wish we would have read all the reviews below. I see a pattern with the store manager. He likes to scam people. I am going to look into this because we need to take legal action. I had an extremely upsetting experience at this T-Mobile store. The manager, Sarab (also spelled Sohrab), mocked me and discredited me when I asked for help. While explaining my situation, I mentioned that I have a learning disability, and at that point he stopped assisting me entirely. He told me I needed to disclose my disability before speaking with him and refused to help further, even telling me to come back when my "brain is working". After making that comment, he also told me that I should bring a family member with me instead. I explained to him that this was rude and discriminatory, as my disability does not simply "get better," and I am fully capable of managing my own account and phone bill. No one else is responsible for my service but me, and I should not be required to bring another person in order to receive basic customer support. When I pointed out that this was discriminatory, he denied making those statements. I informed him that the security footage would reflect what was actually said. He also admitted that no one in the store was trained to assist customers with disabilities, which made the situation even more concerning. This conduct is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act, both of which prohibit discrimination based on disability and require equal access and service in public accommodations. Customers are not required to disclose a disability in order to receive help. I felt completely disregarded, and this occurred on my only day off. I reported the incident directly to the company, and a formal report was filed. Another employee, Amanda, later approached me, apologized, helped calm the situation, and provided clear information on next steps, which I appreciated. What makes this even more troubling is the clear pattern of similar complaints in other reviews over the past months and years, describing deceptive practices, hostility toward customers (including women and elderly customers), refusal of service, harassment, and unprofessional conduct by this same manager. I left feeling humiliated and dismissed. I strongly caution others and sincerely hope this location is held accountable, as no customer especially someone with a disability should be treated this way in a public service environment. California Law: Under 42 U.S.C. § 12182 (Title III): "No individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation... " California civil rights act: California businesses must provide "full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services" without discrimination based on disability. I am sharing this experience so it is documented and taken seriously, and so that other customers especially those with disabilities are not subjected to the same treatment. Hi all I'd like to come on here and let you know about my experience here at this T-Mobile I was trying to pick up my phone that was shipped and ready for pick up. TELL ME WHY. I have the "MANAGER".... SOHAB(a male) fighting me ... a female. He wants to tell me to call the 800 number because he refuses to give me my phone. He also threatened to call the cops on me. Ask to see the bill before you purchase anything. I was lied to and told some things were free untill I received the first bill. I had to call customer service to have the transactions reimbursed. I specifically asked him a few times if it was included because it's sounded really odd and he confirmed it was of no charge to me. He also sold me internet that didnt work at all in my location which I found very odd after the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone also confirmed. I don't understand how employees are allowed to just lie like that without repercussion. It's like dealing with used car salesman these days. He said he used to work at att which makes a lot of sense since I used to be with them and they had some really shady tactics. My mother went to this location yesterday around 12:45pm to get her phone transferred over. The doors were locked and workers inside laughing. The manager Sohrab came and opened the door and said we are closed for another 15 minutes because they were having a "meeting" so my mother waited. As soon as he finally opened the doors he gave attitude right away telling her she could just transfer her phone on her own and didn't need to be there. She is not the most tech savvy and he made her feel terrible about that. He told her if she wasn't there to buy anything that she was wasting his time and that she is a reason why he won't have a job one day. Overall awful customer service, he made many inappropriate comments to my mother during her time at this location. At this point, we will be complaining to corporate and possibly changing over carriers. Very disappointing as my mother was so excited to finally have a new phone. read more

I have visited this location several times and I must say everyone there has been very helpful to me. On my recent visit, Amit assisted me with my phone issues. I told him that I needed a new Sim card for my Samsung S21. I had a Note 8....(yes, I'm slow at updating my phones) Amit told me that they were the same size and should fit. I insisted that I needed a smaller card. Without any judgment...Amit inserted my Sim card easily into my S21.. I bow my head with shame!!! Amit was very knowledgeable and friendly. They let me know cost changes before tax following protocol. They helped me update a few things in my account, and let me know about any account updates with my changes. Be careful of this location. This isn't a T-Mobile corporate store, so they are limited in what they can do. I used it 5 years ago and got terrible customer service. I should have left then but our old phones were dying and I needed new ones. I thought I would go back and give it a try, figuring that in 5 years, they must have gotten better or they wouldn't be around. Yeah, no. I went in to get some help comparing plans and Shawn was very helpful with that. He then brought up the T-Mobile Home Internet. I was interested in that, and since I could get it for free for 2 weeks to try it out, I decided to give it a go. It was great, much faster than Spectrum, however, it couldn't hold the signal. It is pure wireless and it was losing the connection several times a day. I tried it in several locations around the house and it didn't get any better. I decided to return after a week. So I took it back to the store and they wouldn't take it, told me I had to call Customer Service and set up a return. When I called Customer Service, they set up the return but told me that I could take it back to the store. So, since I didn't have a shipping box or a way to print a label, I went back, and, no, they cannot take any returns because they are not a real T-Mobile store, they are some kind of franchise or something. Oh, and I did ask to speak to a supervisor but they didn't have one, he was out to lunch. I finally got it straightened out and got it shipped back. UPS took care of it. I wouldn't buy anything from this store, since they can't do any kind of follow up service. read more

I had a lot of questions about different plans & he was extremely informative & patient with me. I ended up switching after being a 15 year customer with my old carrier. Prospective customers before you buy into T-Mobile's artificial pleasantry, know this: T-Mobile is a raptor corporation. It swallows any competition by merging with it. That gives you less choices. The reps are trained to be friendly in the stores when you are buying. The reps have incentive to cheat you. They are paid low salaries and often work on commisions. I was blatantly lied to about various things by the rep that first sold me my phone. Many years later, as my phone FINALLY was paid off, I learned (ironically, from another rep) that for years I had been getting cheated. Something I did not need (or want) was bundled secretely. After many back and forths, the final answer was a rude supervisor who basically told me: "It is the customers responsibility to review their bills." Ah, but it was only after I paid off my phone and noticed my bill was STILL high that a rep looked at my bill and figured it out. The language in the bundle made it hard to find. Even the rep admitted that. I am O.C.D, probably ADHD as well. I was VERY specific about my needs when I entered into the contract. I told them I would be using the phone to tether because the city I live in does not allow for two bills from the same location for internet services. I rent a room apart from the house. I got the Unlimited plan, paying extra for it. It's not really "unlimited". I would get throttled after 50GB. Annoying, but at least still workable. For some years I got decent speeds until I hit 50GB. Then they merged with Sprint. Immediately my speeds (even before 50GB) went down. They started to set up 5G towers. Speed went down again. At about this time a rep asked my age. When it was proved I was over 55, she said they had this new 55 and over plan with a T-Mobile modem/router.I would no longer be forced to tether. I was over the moon. This could solve so many stress inducing issues. I had a trial period. If not satisfied I could bring it back. I tried it in the optimum position (near a window). It worked for 10 minutes, then shut off. I tried it in several parts of the room. It kept shutting off. Took it back the next day. Rep said they had a new model, try that. This one wouldn't even connect. Took it back. Was given a box and a shipping label. This model I had to send back. Had to buy stuff to insulate the modem/router, as well as tape. I sent it immediately. I got a bill for this modem/router, even though I had returned it in plenty of time. I went to T-Mobile. Rep looked it up. They HAD received the package. I had a cat pet sitting coming up. While pet sitting my phone suddenly stopped working. I had brought my computer, luckily, and was able to figure out that my phone had been disconnected. I contacted T-Mobile (knowing in my heart it was because of this bill for the modem/router that never even worked) After the usual burning path through the hellish voice mail system, I finally got a human. She looked up the info. We ran into a snag getting into my account on my end. Somehow we got disconnected. She called back (phone only worked when T-Mobile called at this point) then it disconnected again.Then... no more calls. That was already hours taken from me. The next day I went through the same hellish barriers to get a human. Finally got one. He FINALLY was able to solve the issue and expunge the bill. I was not offered ANY recompensation for my wasted time, effort, or for the years I was ripped off. When that smug supervisor later noted that it was the customer's responsibility to review their bill she also noted (as if it wasn't THEIR fault) that they had reversed the charge of $69.00. I should have screamed: "Yes, you did, but it was YOUR error. You caused me great inconvenience, risked my lively hood, and even made me pay for packing materials! Yet, if I am 2 days late on my bill, (I was recently) immediately you shut me down and charge a restoration fee of $20.00!" Also, ALL OF YOU NEED TO BE AWARE that T-Mobile recently changed their Terms Of Service. You can no longer sue T-Mobile by jury trial. Only be Artibration. What this means; Arbitration costs money, you often end up with a lawyer from the same company you are suing, on the unlikely chance you win, the payout award is much smaller. (and remember, you have lawyer fees) In addition, you must agree not to sue their third party vendors, partners AND suppliers. In short: customers have little recourse to the law. Recently, T-Mobile merged with Mint. Rocks are faster than my internet. read more

I was talked into buying a phone by a pushy salesman in December. I went in to get the contents of my old phone put into my deceased husband's newer phone so I could use that one. The salesman told me that for only $15 a month more than I'm already paying he could get me into a new phone. After the purchase and set up, he said that my first bill in January might be a bit more, but in February it will drop down to $115. He said if it's still higher in February, come in and I'll adjust it for you. Sure enough in January the bill was $117.98. After I also paid $117.98 in February, I went in to the store to have the " adjustment " made. The person I had dealt with before wasn't there. The salesman told me I am in fact getting charged exactly what I was supposed to get charged. He was not about to adjust anything. I told him it was dishonest for the other salesman to tell me my bill would only be $15 more when it's actually $18 more. He said that the other guy was just estimating. iPhone 14 of $799.99 was bought at T-Mobile, Anaheim Hills, CA with 50% Trade-in Discount of $400 in December 2022. The store did not send my traded-in iPhone Plus to T-Mobile Company, and thus we have not gotten the discount credit of $400/24months=$16.66 per month. T-Mobile says the fault is the store who is responsible for not returning the traded-in iPhone. Thus, Numerous contacts have been made to the store owner, Jibraan Shoro, who finally promised to credit $10 every month in March 2023. But, instead of $400, only $10 was credited to my account on March 7. Disappointedly, Jibraan has been ignoring my repeated emails and text messages to his Cell. read more

Edward was super quick and polite when I needed help in adding an additional line to my account. Definitely came in clutch when alerting me to a promotion going on that I could definitely benefit from. I would definitely go to this location whenever I need assistance with my phone or account. I purchased three iPhone XR's for my two daughters and I about 5 months ago to replace our old iPhones. The iPhone XR is the best device. It is super fast and the battery life is amazing. BEWARE!!!This Location are up to no good.I just found out that 2 of the employees that worked in this location are dishonest,scammers,and liars.I was here on September 6 to get a special promo for add another line for $30 and get the 2nd line for free.I went ahead and sign the contract and they told me the promo is still available.I was very happy with customer service and everything went smooth.After a month I received my bill and it came out to $183 and i knew something is smells fishy.I called the store and the customer rep told me that my bill will be adjusted and pro rated on the next month bill.On the second month my bill came out the same for $183 with no changes on the the new plan that i sign up for.Today i went to the store and confronted the rep that i was dealing with.He told me that the promo he offered me was not valid and theres nothing he can do about it.This person totally lied and deceived me like he didn't care whatsoever.talking about unethical way of doing customer service and lied about it.honestly if I didn't qualify for the special promo or the promo was not available why would you proceed with the transaction and contract to be signed.Atleast be honest about it and tell me the truth and everything is gona be fine.Just dont lie to me and pretend that i was eligible in the first place.I ended up calling the corporate office and got everything settled with a breeze.Im on a new Plan with a lower monthly payment with the same service.These 2 employees that i was dealing with are useless.All they want is to set you up on a trap and a click bait.I would never step my foot inside this establishment ever again. read more

Ahmed saw how beat my phone was and I was up for a free upgrade (I drop my phone a lot (lol). All this new product and my bill is only $10 more than it was when I walked in, which is nothing considering all we got!
