Been going to the Cedar/Nees location until they transitioned to the newer Champlain location. My…read moreexperiences have been good during those times but when the pandemic happened, I ended up freezing my membership on 3/2020. Fast forward to 12/2025, I finally went in an unfroze my account. There were quite a few noticible changes since then: There are now more squat racks (vs just the 3 at the time), there are also more cardio machines and the daycare was also closed when they reopened. There are also sanitation stations throughout the gym too (which is an A in my book) however it also seems that there are now more new members. I'm so glad to be back after all these years of putting it off. I've lost some strength since then but I'll probably gain some of it back probably after a month in. Pro Tip: This place is at its busiest on weekdays starting around 3pm until 8pm. Late Fridays and the weekends are the least busiest.

I don't usually write reviews, but after my experience with Sean Clinton, I had to say something…read more Let me start by giving credit where it's due: the other employees here are genuinely kind and did their jobs well. But Sean? He's the manager. And I am absolutely baffled that someone with this little people skills is in charge of anything involving human interaction. Sean has what I can only describe as angry short white man syndrome, and I don't say that lightly. The man was on an incredible power trip from the moment we interacted with him. I have never met someone who radiates that much unexplained hostility. He was huffing, puffing, and looked like he was about to blow the whole house down. His face was red and was literally shaking from anger because his "ego" cannot admit that he was clearly in the wrong, and it was almost funny. My friend and I stayed completely calm and polite the entire time, which seemed to make him even angrier. Watching a "grown" man have a full emotional meltdown over a normal customer interaction was genuinely pathetic and sad. I genuinely mean this, Sean Clinton does not deserve to be around people, let alone manage a team. If you're the type of manager who turns red and shakes because a customer speaks to you calmly, you are not fit to be in customer service. To Sean, if you ever read this: take a deep breath. Maybe a vacation. Or therapy. Something. It is not our fault that you are only three apples tall.

Worst customer serviced and dishonesty that I have encountered! Chris Flaming was referred to me…read morefrom Aquamatic, and initially seemed capable but left my previously intermittently working pool cover to a total breakdown within days of his work last summer. Spa Duck also made some "interim" electrical control changes from a convenient to operate post, into the below deck pool cover receptacle, totally hard to access, even from a kneeling position on cement. I now have to hire an electrician to redo their work to my original set up. I also had to hire another company to repair my pool cover system and will be using them in future. Spa duck would not return a call or text from last summer, 2021 after numerous courteous efforts to get their attention and help. In addition, in mid June 2021, I gave Spa Duck a check for 50% down payment on a new spa cover and have never received it! I was told by Chris at the time, that it would take two months, --but Aquamatic told me over a month later (on a separate matter I was discussing with them) that Chris had just brought in the spa cover order that day , and that it would take a week to get it done. This showed me Chris was already lying to me. This was 8 months ago!!! Since then, No pool cover ever delivered, No refund provided! Contractor license should get a record of this kind of unprofessional conduct. I called the Aquamatic representative who referred me to Chris at Spa Duck, to let him know that this company and owner Chris, are a POOR REFLECTION on Aquamatic which uses them as a subcontractor. Since that call couple of months ago, Aquamatic has clearly not managed to get them to show the slightest level of professionalism, fiscal obligation or just plain customer curtesy.

Then there was a problem with the IAquiLink connection to operate the pump, so they sent out a service tech who was able to get it working, BUT did not fix the cause of the problem, which is water leaking into the junction box. NOW THERE'S WATER IN THAT BOX AGAIN AND THE PUMP IS NOW DAMAGED AND OUT OF WARRANTY. THANK YOU SPA DUCK

It's bittersweet knowing that both my brother & I attended when it was Jan Thomas & now my son (1…read moreyears old) attended the same facility! Booking swim lessons was easy & the staff was very responsive & accommodating to my schedule via email & text. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm welcomes & goodbyes every lesson from both the front desk & swim instructor. My son LOVED Bullfrog Swim School & his instructor Miss Sally. As parents we couldn't have asked for a better instructor for our son. Miss Sally was very calm, patient, & loving towards our baby boy. By the end of his 10 lessons our 18 month old was able to hold his breath, kick, blow bubbles, & find the edge of the pool. We will definitely book more lessons with Miss Sally to get him fully swimming as he reaches 2!

My son worked with Nick (black hair) for most of his ten lessons. He also swam with a couple of other instructors on "extra" days. I think it's cool that they offer those additional discounted days for those registered. The only downside for me is the inflexibility of the office. When graduation approached, discounted packages were offered, which I was ecstatic about, seeing how much my son enjoyed swimming. But after doing the math, it would have been cheaper to purchase a larger package at the beginning. However, it's hard to spend over $1K if you don't know whether your child will take to swimming or not, especially with it being their first time. I tried to convey this and extend his lessons as if I had purchased 20 classes. That was quickly denied, which makes me feel like it's more about the money than the experience or parents. We're talking $75 - it shouldn't hurt them financially in the grand scheme of things. Sure, I could spend the $75, but it's the principle that disappoints me. Otherwise, I would recommend Bullfrogs! My son had a blast, and the instructors are excellent. I just wish the office was more understanding. Instructors = 5 stars hands down Office Manager = 2 stars :(
