We had several pool companies give us bids . Including one we had used before . We had a friend that highly recommended Signature pools . We contacted them and immediately Travis got back to us . He came out to our home listened to our ideas and brought our vision to life . The overall experience was fun and exciting due to how the entire staff worked with us in such a professional and timely manner . We recently had one of our pool lights go out . Travis reached out to us they came out immediately and replaced them . Again their staff was so kind and professional. Our friends and family have enjoyed our pool so much that a few of them have decided to build their own pool . The exceptional quality of our pool has always led them straight to Signature pools . read more

I reached out to Nicci Mellon for an estimate and Nicci was nice at first but she didn't really listen to my ideas and what I wanted in a pool. So I asked her to resign it but it took her weeks to do so, when she did it again once again it wasn't to what I told her and this is after me having to email , call and text Nicci repeatedly. I think it's because she wasn't consistent with my message/ S phone calls that she forgot what I wanted in a pool design. Nicci always has an excused and apologized for why she didn't reply. Currently I'm Still waiting for Nicci to return my phone calls. Signature pool was one of my top choices but the customer service I'm receiving now is worrying me to proceed. I would advise others to request for another designer right away if you get Nicci. read more

I echo a lot of these sentiments. We went to the home show early last year looking for a good pool company. After checking several out, we ran into Nicci. She seemed very nice so the week after the home show, I sent her an email. Didn't hear a thing. A couple weeks later I called. She apologized and said that they were changing email addresses and must have missed it. She then set a time to come out on the weekend. The day before, she called and moved it to another day or time. When she arrived, she looked around the backyard, bragged about how Signature had more pools currently being built in town than anyone else and how they were the biggest builder in town. We discussed the design and Nicci said she would get us out a quote in a week. THAT WAS THE LAST WE EVER HEARD FROM NICCI. Thus, a few months ago we decided to hire Homecrafters BBQ and Spa to put in a spa and BBQ and JSL Concrete to landscape and cement the backyard. We saved money and didn't need to deal with Nicci again. I am all about helping and supporting the small business owner and most times will refrain from negative reviews, but when you think you are big enough to make the consumer feel unimportant, then maybe it is time to find another line of work out of the service industry. read more

My husband and I had a seamless experience working with Bob & his Team at Signature Pools. From the designing phase with Jeremy to Bob & Travis coming on site to make sure everything was going as planned by the subcontractors. Every step was professional, timely communication and very transparent using the project manager text system. Our Pool & Spa is exactly what we wanted and more. Very impressed that they were able to get this done in 8 weeks in the Summer. Bob & his team are Top Notch! I would highly recommend them. read more

Signature Pools was great to work with from the beginning. Jeremy coming out in the beginning measuring and listening to what we thought that we wanted. To him providing the video with a 2nd option that we choose. Signing the contract and picking our materials was a great experience with Jeremy and with the knowledge and recommendations that he made our pool came out perfect. Heather was in constant contact with me to let me know next steps and if any action was needed from me. The crews that came out to do the work were fantastic. Travis coming out to check on things before starting and then providing our orientation on how to test the water, use the chemicals and use our waterfalls and lights. ABSOLUTELY Wonderful experience and my pool was done in 5 1/2 weeks . I highly recommend Signature Pools if you are looking to have a pool built. read more

Great service! Showed up on time, responded to concerns, all for a reasonable price! .......

We have had the WORST customer service problem with Signature Pools that we have ever witnessed or ever heard about. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever tried to deal with in my life! Just horrible customer service from Nicci... and obviously, we aren't the only ones who have had this type of horrible service. We have never been totally GHOSTED like this by any company! The sad thing is, it all sounded so great when we met with her, but they NEVER, ever returned our calls. I have added some samples of her texts... which we found out were all lies. If this is how they are now, what's it going to be like if we actually hired them to do the pool at all? Beware!!!! There are way too many pool builders in the area to be dealing with this type of unprofessional people. Again, check out the texts... they start on February 27th and it's now been over a month and we still haven't heard from them! HORRIBLE! read more

I contacted Signature pools because they are local. Nicci came out in a timely manner and measured, and answered all of our questions, this interaction was great. The reason for the review is that our contact after was less than impressive. She sent us drawings, but after I had bugged her a few times, no big deal, I figured it was busy season. My main concern was when I picked a drawing and asked for a price quote, (I believe this was through texting, I can't find the email) she said she would get back to me. She never did. I'm not sure if she thought we were wasting her time, or what. Just wasn't super impressed with the communication after the initial meeting, unfortunately. read more

My family had a wonderful experience with Signature Pools & Spa. We first met Nicci Melon at the 2019 Fall Fresno Home And Garden Show. We called another pool contractor that we contacted at the Fresno Home and Garden Show. My wife and I didn't care for the up front contract signing from another pool company (won't mention their name) once brought you into their showroom to show your pool design (This is a tactic used by a car sales person). I reached out to Nicci again, since we hadn't heard back from Nicci. Nicci responded to us and apologized for the delayed response. My wife told me two her friends went with Signature Pools & Spa, and Nicci was designing one of their pools. Nicci came out to our house to take measurements, was very informative and upfront with their costs. Nicci mentioned they weren't the cheapest pool contractor, because they are all about quality and providing excellent customer service. We told Nicci everything we wanted and she worked with us to get us a price we where comfortable with. Nicci also mentioned that we continue to get quotes as they could possibly match it or get close to it. A few weeks went by and Nicci had our design and sent it in an email. This was so nice because we didn't want to be brought into another show room to look at a design, and then put a contract in front of us. My wife and got to look at the design together, and talk about it. We changed some things to lower the cost of the pool too. Other pool contractors return our calls, and some didn't even get us a design. After my wife talked with her friends about their positive experience with Nicci and Bob the owner, our decision was made. Nicci worked with us all the way through the construction process and Bob the owner would show up to. The entire team was great to my family. When the pool was finished, it looked exactly what was shown in the virtual design of the pool. When pool start up happened, Brandon Smart was a blessing to work with. He was on top of everything. He even came out after work hours to resolve a minor issue with our pool. We now have a pool that our family will have for memories to share forever. If you want an experience that is second to none, and who will continue to work with you after the pool is completed for any repairs, call Signature Pools & Spa. You won't be disappointed. By far the best pool builder in the Central Valley. Bob, the owner, has no limit to service. Our pool was built in 2019. We recently experienced a minor issue and he and his team made it out to assess and ultimately fix the matter. It is possible to have both quality and service! I highly recommend Signature Pools.! read more

Got 2 quotes for our pool. I had a comfort level with Signature that the job would be done right and he had been working the same sub-contractors for a long time. Asked Bob a bunch of questions and had a good comfort level by his responses. Very happy with the outcome especially when comparing it to my last pool. read more

I have a signature pool with a salt system, and a Quartz plaster finish. The pool is 5 years old. Maintenance and chemicals have all been done per schedule. I have 1 large area where the pool rebar below the gunite is bleeding through the Quartz and causing a large rust stain. I also have 2 rebar bleed stains along my tile line. I brought my issue up with a co-worker whose friend also used signature for a hot tub, I was told they had the same issue. To fix the rust stain, pool is going to have to be drained and patched/resurfaced. *****Update 4-28-21******* I received a personal phone call from Bob, the owner of signature Pools. Bob explained his position on the matter from a business owners perspective. Update 7-5-21 Our sheer descent (waterfall water feature) is now leaking. Initially we thought it was a pipe but had a company come out and show us the waterfall is broken. We were told it was not properly installed and leveled. We were told our retaining wall would need to be demo'ed to complete this job which is going to cost a lot. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They will sell you on you being part of a Family and that the owner, BOB Mellon, will be on-site during the build. That's all a lie. Bob came one day, and that was the walkthrough for the use of equipment and chemicals after the entire build was completed. They Will outsource every step of the pool construction. If something happens, they are off the hook because they did not do the work. Also, make sure everything you asked and paid for is listed, even if it's on the blueprint that's not good enough. Make sure to get everything printed out in great detail. Also, if you go with a salt Generator, hire someone to set it up. They will promise to set it up 30 days after it's filled with water but trust me; they won't be back. read more

We had three companies out to give us an estimate for a lap pool and spa. The design by Signature's Chris Jones was far superior, so we went with them. (He makes a 3-D design on the computer that can be viewed from any angle.) Quality workmanship and the work crew cleaned up every day. Everyone who sees the pool is impressed with the unique design. Bob, the owner is easy to work with and is Amazing! We had a few problems with the lights and with working the pool app on our phones. He personally came back and took us through everything again. It's been a year now and they've added pool service and Sam is always on time and conscientious. Brandon is now the company's troubleshooter and when I couldn't get the waterfall working, he came right out! -We can't say enough about the professionalism of this company. read more

We really enjoyed working with Bob. He was patient during our decision making to move forward with the construction of our new pool. He always over delivered on what we expected during the process. If it wasnt for the rainy weather our pool and spa would have been completed in less than 6 weeks in which is what he estimated. With all the new technology in pool equipment, Brandon was always a phone call away day or night to promptly assist with questions or adjusts needed to insure our equipment was operating as expected. Joe is our cleaning guy and he is always polite and does a great job too! We will always recommend Bob and his crew for pool services. read more

After my initial review, we were contacted on Yelp immediately by Nicci. She was very apologetic about our experience. She mentioned they have made some changes. She asked that we consider giving Signature another opportunity. Several months later, we still have not decided on which company to use, so I took her up on the offer. I called yesterday, and she was at our house within an hour. Not only did she come, but she also brought Bob- the Owner. Both were very apologetic, about our previous experience, and it was obvious they wanted to earn our business. They had great questions, and ideas and made my husband and I both feel like they understood our vision. The entire experience put my husband and I at ease, and we felt we could trust them. Nicci commited to getting us a design quickly, and within our budget. We are excited to see what they come up with! And would love to work with them in the very near future. I would definitely recommend reaching out to Signature. They changed our minds. read more

We live in Fresno, and contracted with Signature Pools and Spa after our meeting with Nicci, their designer. We loved the design, and Nicci understood everything that we wanted in our pool and spa. Unfortunately somethings are much different in the size of our pool, different than our requests. Something has been lost in the translation of what we actually wanted, but only regarding the pool length desired. The length that we desired seems to be angled 45 degrees, according to Bob, the owner and project manager. The pool built is around 85% of the size that we requested with Nicci. The pool length was the most important detail to myself, the client. Needless to say I am disappointed with the final size of the pool. I have been harsh in my behavior towards Bob, and have apologized. The final result of pool size had me very upset. My opinion is that the pool is very lovely, beautiful. But feeling shorted just wont resolve. We have a nearly completed project now, but my rudeness and a delay to finish the interior by Signature Pools now coincide. I pray Bob won't have hurt feelings, and that this project will be completed soon. It will be a very nice pool. It's simply not the size we requested via Nicci, their employee and designer. It is very likely the size dictated in the building permits, which we did not realize differered from our request. read more

Have nothing but good things to say about Bob (owner of Signature Pools). I have even referred him to a couple of friends who were also in the market. He wasn't the lowest price out of all of the companies we interviewed, but he was the one we felt most comfortable with. We now have a beautiful pool, designed to fit our wants and needs, thanks to Signature. It started off smoothly with our conversations with Chris Jones, who sent us his 3D design in a video format, which really allowed us to visualize how the pool would turn out in our yard. (I am going to estimate that the video rendition and the final result was about 90-95% accurate!). From start to finish, the process of designing and building our pool was about 3-4 months long. This pool was going into an empty lot, with a new construction occurring at the same time, so the length of the project was actually very reasonable (and was probably delayed more by legal requirements). It was great to be able to talk to Bob Mellon (the owner) throughout the process. There were several occasions where Bob was on site, supervising the work. Equally impressive was how Brandon Smart helped set us up and took care of us post completion of the pool He showed me what to look for and how to care for the pool initially. I'm still in the early phase of pool ownership and am looking forward to getting the salt generator running, but I feel confident that whatever questions or issues I run into, Brandon is only a text or phone call away and often quickly drops by to help me out. We are now enjoying our pool almost daily and it's been awesome! Thanks to everyone at Signature for a beautiful pool! read more

I waited 7 years to put a pool in my yard. Selected Signatrue Pools because the designer was quick to return a plan we liked and everything was off to a great start. Unfortunately, I ended up being vey disappointed. The communication was horrible. Work people showed up unannounced, we didn't know what to expect when they got there. Never met Bob although we were told he would be by to inspect everything and meet us and give us a walk through. The workers left huge chunks of concrete all over the yard then tried to cover it up with left over dirt. It has taken my gardener a week to drill it all out so he can get sprinklers replaced. Rebar and trash was everywhere. The pool is great but the mess left over was horrible. If it wasn't for Brandon Smart, I would have no idea what to do with this pool now that I have it. They sent me a text saying the pool was finished, the last payment was due and now I am responsible for its care. No walk through nothing. Go somewhere elese! read more

Our pool was done by Signature Pools last Summer and I would say that it was, for the most part, a pleasant experience. The other reviews about the designer, Chris are spot on. It's our first pool build and we had no idea how much it would cost and what was involved. We met Signature at the Fresno Home Show last Spring and got in touch with Chris to come out and do a design and estimate for us. I told him I also wanted to compare quotes from other builders. Chris was a good salesman at that time, checking in weekly and asking if we had any questions, willing to meet again, etc. However, with waiting for quotes from the other guys plus working out finances, it took us a couple of months to finally say yes. By then, Chris wasn't interested and almost arrogant. His attitude didn't change until I told him we wanted to sign. I didn't get the full nonchalant treatment but I can see how the reviewers weren't pleased with him. Thank goodness I had met Bob, the owner, by then and I knew that Bob would take over the construction phase. I also hear that Chris is no longer with Signature and went to another pool company. The construction phase was a pleasant experience. The sub-contractors were all respectful and on time. When some left their garbage in our yard, Bob, quickly had guys come to clean it all up. Bob was in constant contact about what was next and when the subs would show up. He was here every phase, introducing me to the sub leads, making sure I knew who they were. Signature also has a project management tool that allows its customers to keep track of next steps, dates and payments. So everything was transparent. Our pool would have been completed in 6 weeks but I decided to add onto to it, which caused an extra 2 weeks of delay due to ordering materials and waiting for the sub's schedule to free up. Having a pool built in 6 weeks in the Summer is super fast and almost unheard of. But Bob is able to do it as he has great relationships with his subs. Post-build, Brandon takes over and "starts up" the pool. He makes sure everything is running correctly and sets up the equipment so that you don't have to worry about it. When I have a question, he's very responsive and will come right out if he needs to. We also use Signature's pool maintenance service. Joe, comes weekly and does a great job of keeping the pool clean. He is never intrusive and is always polite and respectful. I have recommended Signature to multiple friends and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend again. read more

I love this company. They are so professional and their communication is exceptional. Nicci came in the same week I called to design my pool. After we picked the design and finalized things flew so fast. I was in the showroom picking out my tile. Met Heather who also texted what was coming up next. Nicci and Heather always made sure I knew what was happening next. I was completely shocked when the owner Bob called me. Thank you Bob for always explaining things to me. The people you contract with were always so professional! They arrived early and waiting to start at 7am. My neighbors thank you. I had a sales person come out for a consultation/estimate. Well, the initial meeting with the sales guy Chris was fine, but things went down hill afterwards. I had to reach out to him to inquire when he would send me a pool design...a few days after he had said he would send it. I understand they are busy during the summer. I could let that go, but his lack of professionalism I couldn't over look. After I gave him some feedback on some design changes to the pool, he never responded to my texts. We ended up calling him about 2 weeks later and he complained about how long it takes him to do a redesign. He basically said we weren't worth his time.
