We've been with Cox Pool Service for well over a decade. I honestly can't imagine trusting our pool to anyone else. Over the years, they've kept our pool clean, clear, and ready to enjoy through teenage parties, pets, grandchildren, and seemingly every bit of dust, wind, leaves, and debris the Central Valley can throw into our backyard. And it hasn't just been routine pool service. Whenever I've needed help with a pump, lighting, waterfalls, or some other pool-related mystery, Cox Pools has always been there with a solution that was quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. I've even tried to rope someone in to settling an argument with my wife over the choice of patio furniture. Clearly, I've pushed my needs outside the scope of pool service. What I'm getting at is, what really sets Cox Pool Service apart is the people. From the person who handles our weekly service, to the technicians, the office staff, and even management, we've always been treated more like neighbors and friends than customers. I'll be honest... I get flyers, business cards, and offers from other pool companies, left on my doorstep all the time. I don't even consider them. When you've had a company take care of you and your family this reliably, answer the phone when you need help, solve problems without trying to empty your wallet, and consistently treat you like they genuinely value your business, why would you go anywhere else? I recommend Cox Pool Service wholeheartedly and enthusiastically. They've earned our trust year after year, and that means a lot more to me than somebody showing up with a cheaper introductory offer. If you want a pool company that feels less like a vendor and more like a trusted friend who happens to be really good at taking care of your pool, this is the team you want. Just don't ask them to choose sides between you and your spouse! Five stars from our family!!! read more

Cox pool service has been our weekly cleaning service for 3 years. They have also done all the repairs on our pool equipment. They are reliable and honest. Most recently I called for a repair because my control panel made a loud pop and smoke came out of it when we tried to turn on the water feature. Gio came out to assess the damage and let me know a broken drip line had been spraying water on the control panel. He took pictures of the damage including a video of the drip line. He let me know it could be repaired the same day. I asked for the price and he got back to me within 5 minutes with a quote which I approved. In less than 30 minutes the melted switch was replaced. This was the second time Gio had come out to my house for a repair, the first time the issue was a tripped breaker which he took a video of to show me which switch to look for in the future. Very polite and nice guy. All of the people we've worked with at Cox have been great. I can't recommend them enough. read more

"I had a great experience with Cox Pool Service, specifically thanks to Adam. I was having some trouble with my pool pump, and Adam was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He took the time to actually explain what was going on, which I really appreciated. He got the repair done efficiently, and my system is now completely dialed in and running perfectly. It's rare to find a technician who is both knowledgeable and willing to walk you through the fix. If you need someone who knows their way around pool equipment, ask for Adam!" read more

Since having our pool refinished a few years ago, we have used Cox Pool Service. This is the longest time we've ever gone without major chemical imbalance or algae issues in the water. When our Pentair equipment has had any issues, Cox has been able to quickly confirm warranty and make the repair. Cody has even personally talked me through valve adjustments when I notice something might be off. This service has been totally worth it! The team is easy to work with and keeps my pool and spa swimmable all year long. read more

Couldn't be happier with Cox! We had one experience before when we hired them to come fix our iaqualink last year, and their professionalism and expertise stuck with us. All of their technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful when you ask questions. We are THAT house that have a troublesome spa that drains down a few inches every week because of the skim line, or a valve, or something... so they are needing to troubleshoot quite often with our equipment (I'm sorry!). The only thing I would recommend is that they communicate better when they diagnose an issue with your pool or your equipment. For the most part they will tell me what is wrong after I call for clarity, but there have been rare times when the tech comes here, takes a look at the equipment and doesn't let me know what they found. Other than that... they are amazing! I feel a bit pricey BUT worth it for everything they do, and all the issues they have to deal with in regard to our spa! read more

I have been a customer of Cox Pool Service for over 15 years. Juan M has taken excellent care of my pool for the past few years. Juan is outstanding. The pool looks great and he keeps me informed about my pool's status. My small dog is very protective and barks but Juan is very sweet to him. He's the best tech out of a very strong service tech team. I highly recommend Cox and especially Juan. read more

I cannot verify that their tech makes it to my house or not, the owner has explained he has gps evidence, but we have already moved on. My last service: When I came home, I noticed that the bottom of pool was dirty, then I checked the skimmers to find them full. I should have taken pictures of the skimmers before emptying it, but my intentions weren't to cancel service, but just to get someone to come out and service it. After customer service did an investigation, they told me my tech stated several things. The tech said he did come by at 1:57pm that day, my sweeper bag needed replacing, and that my dogs are getting into the pool; dog hair is clogging the filter. My response was that my dogs have never been in the pool, trust me I've tried and they are scared to get in. They spend majority of their day indoors. The pool should not look dirty with full skimmers 3 hours after it was supposedly serviced. Lastly, I shouldn't have to call and complain to find out what my pool needs to operate efficiently. When we first got their service, the tech left a message on a door hanger. I wish he could have done it again for his recent concerns. They service my parents pool too and they have been wanting to replace them for awhile now. read more

The team at Cox Pool Service and Repair was able to get RUST STAINS out of the bottom of my pool! I was so stressed and scared it was never going to come out. My son had left weights at the bottom so there were 4 large rust stains. I sent a photo to the team the night I saw it and they came out the next day. SO GRATEFUL they were able to restore the pool to its beauty. They also provide excellent weekly pool service for us. They arrive as scheduled and the pool always looks fresh. I was already extremely satisfied with their quality and service, however it was saving us from forever rust stains that prompted my review. Highly recommend! We had them for 4 months starting in May 2020 (3 different tech in those 4 months). Our chemicals were always out of balance. My granddaughter's eyes were always burning. We were checking ourselves and there was always way too much chlorine in the pool. We asked several times for a comprehensive water test, and the tech would only check chlorine and acid. We took our sample to Leslie's Pool on Shaw and Clovis and they did a complete analysis, and got us all of the chemicals to properly balance our pool - which we had asked for with Cox and never received. Didn't even receive return phone calls to these requests. Once we balanced the pool, we cancelled Cox via email, with a copy of the pool report from Leslie's. Finally received a call and message back from JT at Cox stating that Leslie's just wanted to sell us expensive chemicals (which Leslie's told us to feel free to price the chemicals elsewhere - we chose to buy them and correct the problem for the party we were having the next day), and he never received a message about a complete pool water test request. Anyway, I emailed him back and told him we'd take care of the pool ourselves. I'm happy to hear that others are happy with their service. And maybe we were a "one off" experience. But we did start with a new service in April this year and are much happier with them than we were with Cox. read more

Cox Pool Svcs & Repair owners and employees are absolutely top notch! I bought a house they were already servicing, and continued the service.
