I was surprised how big it was. There are plenty of parking around the park. I saw a nice trail for people to walk on which is fantastic. On the park itself there are two big bridges I saw and in the distance is also a playground area with jungle gym for little ones to play at. Quite a lively park with many people utilizing it. There are many big and established grown trees providing lots of shade. This park is great for sports and outdoor activities because of the open space. There was no trash on the floor and the park is pretty well kept.

If you haven't stopped by this park before, please note that parking fills up fast-especially on weekends and holidays-but it is worth it. Nestled in a residential area of central north Fresno, this park has something for everyone. If you want to throw a party, there is a sheltered picnic area that you can use. I highly recommend that you reserve the space through the City of Fresno, as it is often booked. There is an ADA accessible path, a water feature that meanders through the grounds and can be very refreshing in the hot Fresno summer. There is a sand play area, swings, see saw, climbing structure and a lovely park path that overlooks a ponding basin filled with fish, turtles and water birds. This particular basin has a small island with large trees that are often filled with white cranes and other birds. The park grounds offer quiet benches under shade trees to sit for a while, grassy gently sloping lawns that are great for frisbee or other family activities. This is also an amazing place to find a ton of baby geese in the spring....super cute! I've seen folks relaxing and flying kites here....playing ball, and just enjoying being off screen and outdoors. I also wish they posted time and days the water park would be on. They used to if you looked at the city website but I can't find it now. This park has a lot to offer, it has an inclosed area for dogs to play and a big field to play soccer or tag football. The play ground needs to be updated and better thought out. Yet, still nice to have for those hot summer days .

So when my parents took me out to lunch we decided to have a Panda Express picnic at Rotary Park. The breeze was on point. However the tables definitely needed a cleaning. I have not see any illegal activities yet but I am highly aware of illegal activities taking place at large parks but I have only stayed an hour or less and only seen children playing, mothers strolling their babies and elderly couples taking a brisk walk. I will be back and I would love to bring my nieces here too! I love parks and fresh air. I felt safe at this park no bad vibes will be back.

We throughly enjoyed the super clean and lush grassy area. It offers plenty of space for our portable disc golf set up and some soccer. The playground area is fairly large with multiple slides and bridges connecting all of the monkey bars and play areas. There are three large covered picnic table areas equipped with grills and four sets of tables each. During our visit, there was a large kids birthday party happening in one of the patios and they had plenty of space for corn hole, gifting table, and a piñata set up.
