Booking swim lessons was easy & the staff was very responsive & accommodating to my schedule via email & text. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm welcomes & goodbyes every lesson from both the front desk & swim instructor. My son LOVED Bullfrog Swim School & his instructor Miss Sally. As parents we couldn't have asked for a better instructor for our son. Miss Sally was very calm, patient, & loving towards our baby boy. By the end of his 10 lessons our 18 month old was able to hold his breath, kick, blow bubbles, & find the edge of the pool. As a first-time mom, I was nervous about booking classes for my son. However, I think the instructors at Bullfrogs are great! My son worked with Nick (black hair) for most of his ten lessons. He also swam with a couple of other instructors on "extra" days. I think it's cool that they offer those additional discounted days for those registered. The only downside for me is the inflexibility of the office. When graduation approached, discounted packages were offered, which I was ecstatic about, seeing how much my son enjoyed swimming. But after doing the math, it would have been cheaper to purchase a larger package at the beginning. However, it's hard to spend over $1K if you don't know whether your child will take to swimming or not, especially with it being their first time. I tried to convey this and extend his lessons as if I had purchased 20 classes. That was quickly denied, which makes me feel like it's more about the money than the experience or parents. We're talking $75 - it shouldn't hurt them financially in the grand scheme of things. Sure, I could spend the $75, but it's the principle that disappoints me. Otherwise, I would recommend Bullfrogs! My son had a blast, and the instructors are excellent. I just wish the office was more understanding. Instructors = 5 stars hands down Office Manager = 2 stars :( read more

Where do I start? This school is amazing from the curriculum to the highly skilled swim instructors. My granddaughter is having the most amazing time in her lessons. I would highly recommend the school. Even if your child has a fear of water bullfrog has a curriculum for that as well. Please don't take my word for it pop in and speak to somebody. The place is clean, cute and professional. The only downfall is that some kids will not adapt to the water at first and cry throughout the lesson. They need to have a plan of attack and keep the crying kids from distracting the kids that are actually trying to learn. read more

So thankful my child can save herself if she fell in the pool. She also can swim across the pool. It took 10 lessons but we bought a few extra. The women in the office are very helpful and the scheduling is easy. Very impressed with the quality of people employed at Bullfrog. We even got a cute card in the mail from her teacher. The best swim school in Fresno/Clovis!! All of the staff are so incredibly nice and helpful. We had lessons with Karra and Gaby. Both instructors were patient, kind, encouraging and taugh my kids to save themselves. My daughter has autism and can get overwhelmed by sounds, changes in routine, and trying new things. Karra was amazing with her and made accommodations so that my daughter could still participate in lessons without being too overwhelmed. Many years later I had my second daughter and again I found myself looking for a good swimming school but by this time we live in Madera. I remembered about Jan Thomas now named Bullfrog swimming school. I looked into it and enrolled our two-year-old at Bullfrog swim-school in Clovis. I do not regret it, she loves her teacher Sarah! Sarah is very kind sweet, patient and fun loving. Even on her days off my daughter will asked to go to swimming class. We drive from Madera to Clovis twice a week but I don't regret Bullfrog this is definitely the best school to teach kids how to swim. They have fun they bond with their teacher and they learn how to swim! I definitely definitely recommend this school to anybody in the Central Valley that is willing to take the drive if you don't live in Fresno. You will not regret it they are so helpful, and they guide you every step of the way, everybody there is so helpful and respectful. read more

This was our first time with Bullfrog Swim School (the location in Clovis) and we had such a positive experience. We signed up our two boys (5 and 7) and they had their lessons together. Their instructor was awesome and the two of them learned quickly what to do if they fall in the pool as well as fine-tuning their swimming skills. Today was their last day and they both ended the lesson confident that they can save themselves and know what to do should they fall in the pool. Great place and we are so happy. I cannot recommend Bullfrog enough! Miss Paige was one of the best swim teachers we have ever had! She bonded immediately with my kids and helped them in totally different ways according to their needs. My very resistant youngest was afraid of going underwater and was all tears with very little progress last swim lessons. With Miss Paige, he progressed all the way to a few beginning strokes and even tried a flip turn! He didn't cry once, begged for more lessons and still tells me he misses swim with Miss Paige almost every day after! My oldest could swim already, but needed help prepping for swim team. Her strokes improved every week along with her endurance. Miss Paige built up her confidence and brought so much fun to her lessons. I loved watching both of my kids smile and giggle in the pool and then try something new with confidence. I often watched the other teachers as well and they were calm, playful, positive and supportive. The staff was always super friendly and created a fun, positive environment saying hi every time we walked in and asking how it went on our way out. My kids were so thrilled to see Sir Fearless the frog and still love singing all the songs. We will definitely be back next year and hope to have Miss Paige again! read more

I am so glad I picked Bullfrog! Both my children can save themselves. I looked at other swim schools and they couldn't explain exactly what my children would learn and Bullfrog has a great method and we got the results they discussed with us. Also, other swim schools didn't allow any make ups and Bullfrog allows 2, which is very helpful if your kids wake up sick or something comes up. Our instructor was competent, on time, informative after each lesson, and dependable. Lastly, I saw the owner walking around with a new hire explaining to them io pick up any bit of paper or trash they may see on the ground. Listening to her discuss the importance of the littlest things was so impressive to me. The facility is so clean and beautiful. We also received an email from her asking how the lessons were going. Holy cow. I just called this place and left a message. I get a call back later and answer my phone asking who it is like a normal sane person. The lady on the other end replies "are you kidding me". I proceed to ask if this is the bullfrog swim school..she says "yes" followed by a long awkward silence. I break the silence saying im trying to get more information and ask if shes the receptionist? She responds in a firm tone "No". I ask who she is, and she says she will have some random name i could not understand call me back and hangs up on me. The conversation was rude, weird, and unprofessional. If you are unable to reach them count yourself lucky. Ive had less awkward and confusing conversations from wrong numbers calling me. It's confusing that anyone would write a bad review about this company. My son was 3 when he started his lessons last summer and he was terrified of the water! Lesson 1 and 2 were horrible, my son was not having it, but because he had such an amazing teacher by lesson 3 he trusted her completely. She was extremely professional and patient and was able to connect with my son on his terms. Before you know it he was asking for his swim teacher and couldn't wait to dive into the pool. I've never experienced anything but professionalism, I've always been contacted back whenever I had a question, the instructor was never late or called in. To anyone who is negative and just has mean things to say, teach your own kids how to swim and start your own company since you know so much. I am very satisfied with my daughter progress. She's 8. She had previous swim lessons from various places in the last 3 years. Now she knows how to do freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, even butterfly!! I can't even do butterfly. Private lesson definitely has more advantages compared to group. The only downside is since it is using hotel's pool, if you have lots of hotel guests that happen to be swimming at the same time, or rude guests, it could be disruptive.
