I love this class. Each time I took my 2 1/2 years, now 3 1/2 year old, I could see him getting more confident. The result has been that our couch and mommy/daddy's bed have become playmats for tumbling. I had to stop going due to schedule conflict but if it works out again, I will certainly be back. The teacher we had was great! If you can't commit to a scheduled time, you can do a drop in. You just need to call the morning of the class before 10:30 to see if there is room for a drop in session.

As a first-time parent enrolling a child in swimming lessons, I expected clear guidance and basic support. Unfortunately, very little was explained on my child's first day, and when I sought clarification, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. One staff member, Eileen, came across as sarcastic when answering questions and made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply by seeking information that should have been provided from the outset. Another incident was with a younger staff member at the front desk that appeared disengaged and does not care about what's going on around her, often ignoring customers who were trying to get assistance. On more than one occasion, she rolled her eyes when people attempted to get her attention, which I found highly unprofessional and discourteous. Overall, the customer service was disappointing. The contrast between the welcoming attitude shown during enrollment and the treatment received afterward was striking. Based on my experience, the staff's lack of communication, attentiveness, and professionalism significantly detracted from what should have been a positive experience.

I wish I would've known sooner the type of business owner this place had and I would've took our money elsewhere. Story time: My son and I show up one day for his swim lesson, I notice there's a little boy running all over the parking lot, banging on customers windows and doors trying to direct traffic for "fun play" I try and let it go it since I have kids of my own, but this kid was persistent on following my son and I telling us rules for his parking lot and etc, I then disengage with the kid as I don't want to be late for our swim lesson and this kid (same from the parking lot, about 3-4 year old) tells me he's going to "shoot me in the face with his nerf gun" he tells me this because he notices I'm not paying attention anymore and he wants me to understand his rules I'm appalled and shocked that a kid this age would say this? I'm wondering where the parents for this kid are since he's wandering around alone.. mind you I'm with my son who would NEVER say something like this to a stranger so I'm walking away and I tell my son that's a bad kid we don't say that I don't say that directly to the little boy I say it to my son so he understands this type of behavior is not okay. Long story short, we go on with the day & my son attends his swim lesson with his phenomenal teacher Miss Lauren and right when his swim lesson is over my son is changing into dry clothes.. the owner Katy who it's my first time meeting comes up to me in-front of all the other parents waiting and confronts me about the situation and has his son apologize which I thought was nice however she follows this apology with letting me know there's "no such thing as a bad kid" and ensures to let me know that this kid running around was hers and that it's his house. I then proceed to let her know, her kid told me that he would shoot me in the face with his nerf gun in-front of my son which is NOT okay and this owner seemed to disregard that.. she was more concerned on the fact that her sons feelings were hurt. I forgot to add that I'm also super pregnant at the moment, so I don't have time for the drama let alone cause a scene in-front of other parents at this facility so I let Katy know this incident wouldn't happen again and she says "good" and walks away Well, I guess Katy didn't like my response because Literally, a couple of mins later as I'm about to take off with my son since we are done for the day Katy, immaturely comes up to me & states she doesn't feel Comfortable with my son attending her swim school anymore and that this lesson he just completed would be his LAST one , oh & that we would get a refund for the remaining classes my son has left... (in front of ALL THE OTHER PARENTS) Mind you my son still has a couple of lessons left In his swim season, I'm appalled and shocked and embarrassed that Katy would take this out on my son who had NOTHING to do with the situation. Pretty much my son had to change back into his swim clothes, graduate early and get his medal. All this is happening as the next kid now has to wait for his swim lesson to start with Miss Lauren due to the owner kicking my son out of her school & miss Lauren having to spend extra time with my son to have him "graduate". Again, I am soooooo embarrassed, angry and in shock at how Katy (the owner) handled all this. As a parent, I let my son know he did awesome and that is why he was graduating early from swim school since he's questioning on why that was his last swim day.. Later this day I go home let my husband know what happened he's just as upset as I am he contacts Swell Swim school & Katy's husband answers, they have a conversation & my husband asks if my son is able to finish his remaining swim lessons.. the owner lets my husband know he will talk to his wife and get back to us which he did later in the day & says Nope, my son is not allowed back. This was just not the way I pictured this high rating swim school to be, it's upsetting. However, note that this situation that happened to me can happen to ANY parent that attends this school if it hasn't already so just be mindful of that i'd recommend looking into other swim schools that are actually professional to avoid any mishaps. :)

I cannot say enough great things about Jamie's!…read more Our kids have been going to Jamie's for the last two summers. By the end of last summer, my 2 year old was swimming across the pool by himself and my 4 year old could dive down to the bottom of the pool without assistance. Now, at the end of this year's lessons, (just 2 weeks ago) my 5 year old can swim the beginnings of freestyle and backstroke and my 3 year old can dive to the bottom. They are also VERY accommodating to our schedule as my husband and I both work shift jobs with various hours. Most importantly, my 5 year old literally saved herself two days ago when she fell into the lake off the dock between the dock and a boat with only about 2 feet of space to emerge. She came right back up to the surface even though she was terrified. There was no thrashing or panic at all! Yes, she is, what I would consider, an exceptional swimmer for her age with lots of practice because we basically live in our pool, BUT I also believe that a major reason for her being able to keep calm after falling into the dark lake waters was because she has confidence in the water and knows what to do in the situation. THANK YOU JSOF for giving my daughter the skills and confidence in the water she needed to save her life! If you're on the fence about sending your kids to JSOF, know they are in great hands! Swimming lessons is the most invaluable investment you can make for your kids! You can never predict when tragedy will strike and as a trauma nurse, I see too often kids who are not taught skills in the water. It could've been my daughter last weekend, but thankfully it wasn't.

Booking swim lessons was easy & the staff was very responsive & accommodating to my schedule via email & text. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm welcomes & goodbyes every lesson from both the front desk & swim instructor. My son LOVED Bullfrog Swim School & his instructor Miss Sally. As parents we couldn't have asked for a better instructor for our son. Miss Sally was very calm, patient, & loving towards our baby boy. By the end of his 10 lessons our 18 month old was able to hold his breath, kick, blow bubbles, & find the edge of the pool. We will definitely book more lessons with Miss Sally to get him fully swimming as he reaches 2!

My son worked with Nick (black hair) for most of his ten lessons. He also swam with a couple of other instructors on "extra" days. I think it's cool that they offer those additional discounted days for those registered. The only downside for me is the inflexibility of the office. When graduation approached, discounted packages were offered, which I was ecstatic about, seeing how much my son enjoyed swimming. But after doing the math, it would have been cheaper to purchase a larger package at the beginning. However, it's hard to spend over $1K if you don't know whether your child will take to swimming or not, especially with it being their first time. I tried to convey this and extend his lessons as if I had purchased 20 classes. That was quickly denied, which makes me feel like it's more about the money than the experience or parents. We're talking $75 - it shouldn't hurt them financially in the grand scheme of things. Sure, I could spend the $75, but it's the principle that disappoints me. Otherwise, I would recommend Bullfrogs! My son had a blast, and the instructors are excellent. I just wish the office was more understanding. Instructors = 5 stars hands down Office Manager = 2 stars :(

Zoey has been an exceptional instructor throughout that time. Like many toddlers, our grandson has a strong personality and definitely likes things his own way. From the observation area, we've had a few laughs watching him try to tell Zoey exactly how things should go. No matter what kind of day he's having, Zoey consistently shows incredible patience, kindness, and skill in getting him engaged and participating in the lesson. There have been days when he missed a nap or simply wasn't in the mood, but Zoey always seems to find a way to turn things around and make the lesson enjoyable. Her ability to connect with young children is truly impressive. Beyond our own experience, we've seen children of many different ages and skill levels in the program. We've also observed the staff working with children who have special needs, and they consistently demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend this swim program to other families.
