Had a piece of the Tres Leches and it was divine! The owner and his family were very nice, offered wonderful service and I'll definitely be back - great little dessert shop in the u district!

So happy that a much-needed cake shop opened up in the area! You can find a variety of treats here including coffee, cakes, and baked goods. Jennifer is an incredibly talented baker and her cake designs will blow your mind. Sometimes she does special orders for holidays too. Stop by frequently for new goodies!

Delicious cake and brownie! Friendly service and a gorgeous store experience. A charming indoor dining and street appeal. These cakes are gorgeous and for sure would buy one for here for events!

Got a cake the second time round! When I first visited the cake shop half an hour before close,…read morethey ran out of most of the cakes so I didn't get anything. The second time, even though it was late again, I was able to snag a chocolate cake with white chocolate icing. The slice was $9.5 after tax, which felt like an ok deal after paying exorbitant amount for cakes elsewhere... :( Cake was good. I liked how they put chocolate chips in the chocolate sponge - it was a nice surprise. I thought the to-go bag system is kind of impractical though. Seeing that the bag they have doesn't have handles, I initially said no to a bag. Then the lady wrapped the dish with the cake slice with a Saran Wrap and handed it over (pictured). I was expecting she put the cake in a container so I was surprised. I knew I wouldn't feel great carrying the cake on the bus like I'm at a cocktail party, so I asked for the brown bag. Maybe this place wants to encourage customers to eat in? They could do a better job with the container, but I might as well come in ready with my own container next time.

During a recent visit, I made several attempts to stop by the new shop and order my favorite slice of confetti cake to see if it was as good as I remembered. The posted hours were incredibly limited, and at one point I stopped by during posted hours to find it closed. Very frustrating given I made a specific effort to record the hours and go back to Fremont specifically for this cake. I get that they're likely trying to save money by only being open a few hours a week, but they should at least be open during the few hours that they advertise as business hours.

The summer camps are a little pricey but I think was worth it, because the kids not only get to cook and eat good food but they also went home with their own apron, knife, and digital recipe book! My daughter now has more passion and confidence to cook independently. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience working with Blue Ribbon Cooking. They catered my wedding and every step of…read morethe process was exceptional. Everyone we dealt with there was friendly and kind. They were very understanding of any of our concerns and requests. We originally went to an open house they were holding so between that and the tasting we had with our contract, we got to try a variety of their food and it was far better than the food we had at other caterers we were considering. They also took all our guests' food allergies and restrictions seriously (unlike another caterer we visited who offered us a "vegan caesar salad" that was made with anchovies...). Also we chose the option to hire our day-of coordinator through Blue Ribbon and working with David Short was a dream. He got our unconventional wedding concept from the beginning and was excited about it and happy to collaborate with us on it or talk through ideas. He was very supportive at every turn and such a kind and calming presence on the actual wedding day. He tried wherever possible to take stress off of us. He let us drop off decor and things to him in the days before the wedding so we wouldn't have to worry about how to get it there. When I realized we hadn't put any thought into the decorations for the ceremony itself he came up with a lovely design repurposing lanterns and greenery we we had gotten for the tables later in the evening. And he brought us a variety of appetizers for me and my spouse so we'd have something to eat after the ceremony while we were signing the paperwork. I would highly recommend Blue Ribbon Cooking for any event. We will definitely be reaching out if we're planning future big events.

The shop is tucked away in the U district past the Lune cafe and near the driving school and a bagel shop. Jie has plenty of seating inside and a bench outside. Staff is quiet and seems to be a family owned business as usually the young woman takes the orders and there will be 1-2 young children/toddlers running around, playing, and laughing. I love the music here and always feel like it's such a calm, homey, and welcoming ambiance. I've stopped by many times for the tea toast and it never disappoints. My favorites are the Earl Grey and Black Sesame. The Earl grey toast tastes so good dipped in a hot peppermint or chamomile tea! The Tiramisu is an absolute must. I've gotten this for my birthday and split it with my man and he loves it too! I think about that yummy top layer and my mouth waters immediately even thinking of this dessert. I actually used to think I disliked Tiramisu as I guess I never had a good one or am very picky as well. Stopping in here just looking at that deliciousness I knew it would be good. Dang delicious! One of the best desserts I've everrrr had and most definitely the best Tiramisu I've had! Just amazing. Yummy. Tasty. You need to try! I've been a loyal customer for over a year now and will continue to be so! Always will recommend Jie!

You can smell the fresh pastries when you walk inside along with that sugary sweetness of milk tea as well. It's sketchy as hell on the Ave yet this place is so brightly lit inside that it feels out of place in the right way. There's plenty of tables and some window seating, and the kitchen is literally right behind the counter where you place your order. I got their cheese four seasons with less ice and 50% sweetness, no extra toppings. The cheese foam prevented this drink from being too watered down by the less sugar, and overall I was very happy with what I got. The tea itself has a nice floral aroma that retains itself even with the cheese foam. It was cold and rainy outside but this drink was still very refreshing, and I was tempted to grab some bread and maybe even cheesecake to eat for later. I've been hearing their actual boba is all the way up there in terms of quality, so that's something I'll get here in a future visit.

She asked for a "theme" off her yelp page, which is an ok question for ordering a cake, but honestly I was trying to go for simple and did not want any fancy theme. I tried to appease her by figuring out a theme, and I may not have been explaining myself correctly but didn't deserve her reactive abrasive response. I was polite, kind, and doing my best to be clear while working with her, yet she somehow acted offended and spoke to me in a mean, unprofessional manner. While I was trying to correct however we got off on the wrong foot she just got more unprofessional. The interaction was so uncomfortable that I ended up in tears and canceled my order. I immediately called the bakery I usually use, and the process was easy and pleasant, exactly how it should be. Just a normal birthday cake ordering experience. This place completely lost my business due to her attitude alone. No one should be treated that way, especially when they're just trying to place an order. Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend her bakery on this experience alone.
