This is my favorite place to get lunch lately and the irony is I'm not even a huge salad person. I love that this healthy fast casual food restaurant chain exists since most places are not that good for you on the regular. Sweetgreen makes it a lot more convenient to make better choices when you're eating out. I've had excellent service here every time! Food quality and freshness at Sweetgreen is hands down the best out of any fast casual place in my personal opinion. I love all of their choices for protein and a ton of different topping customization options. My favorites are their gaucamole greens, salmon bowls and steak bowls. Their chicken tastes great also with their sauces. Ordering online for pickup is a breeze. read more

I was first introduced to sweetgreen a couple years ago in Alexandria, Virginia and had a positive first experience. Based on that experience, I dropped into the Chicago location recently while on a trip. As was the case with my first experience, the portions are very generous, the offerings are unique, and the flavors are strong/bold. The only issue I had was just that the tables needed to be cleared/cleaned a little more regularly. read more

Really great place to grab something on the healthier side. I got the chicken pesto parm. Full of spinach chicken and quinoa. The employees were very nice. Clean place right by NWMH. I would definitely recommend for a healthy meal. read more

Wish we had this in Hawaii - love this chipotle style salad bar. This was my second visit, my first was in SD. Much less busy here but maybe bc it was the evening rather than lunch. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. With the add ons it's not cheap but no fresh and good food is anymore. I went for make my own and that starts at $10 but with the add ons it was closer to 20. Delicious and fresh! My mom got the harvest bowl with some add ons and she was very happy. I can imagine that this place would be popular especially for take out and especially being right by the medical center. Our server had a dry sense of humor but was pleasant and kind. I think they were prolly close to closing bc someone was scrubbing the floor. We ate there - the tables are a little messy but whatever. There's cups and a water dispenser by the forks so next time we won't buy the bottled water. read more

Food was amazing! It was a very pleasant spot with a great outdoor area to eat if you prefer. The staff were incredibly friendly. Vivian was by far the best front of house staff I've met. Great spot and location. Highly recommend read more

The chicken caesar salad from here is very good! Love how juicy the chicken was, and the lime juice gave it a fun, appetizing bite that really brought all the flavors together. I would definitely order it again, but I think I would substitute the parmesan crisps for another topping if possible. It's just a bit overkill when the salad also already comes with parmesan cheese. The service is fast, and you go down the line as you order (think Chipotle or Subway style). The inside is very bright and trendy. On the pricier side, but in line with what you would expect from a health foods type of place. Also, the salads are pretty big in terms of volume, so you feel like you're eating a lot. read more

I've not gone to many of these "salad" restaurants, but my daughter wanted to go, and it was really good. I had the chicken avocado ranch salad, and it was wonderful. I especially liked the mix of roasted onions and apples on this particular salad. Very nice space. Limited tables. Service is arbitrary. You just stand in line and tell them what you want from a large variety of salads and bowls. I think my wife and daughter got the crispy rice bowls. My daughter loves this place. My favorite part of my meal was the soda. They had a vintage soda selection called Ollipop, and it was outstanding. I chose the vintage cola and loved it. Four stars for the noncommittal service, and it was pretty expensive for three salads. Had a good lunch here and would return again. read more

My coworkers and I wanted something healthy one day that wasn't our usual go-to so we decided to order from sweetgreen. I've never had it before, but what a pleasant surprise!! I got the chicken avocado ranch bowl, but subbed out the white rice, tortilla chips, and apples for herbed quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, and spicy broccoli. All the ingredients were so fresh! Not sure how the wait time usually is for this place if you were to go in person since I ordered online and just went to pick it up, but everything was made in such a timely manner. Definitely excited to add this to my go-to places for lunch when I'm craving something healthy at work! read more

Love this location! Good portion size and delicious options for salad. Fully customizable and dressing is always amazing. Wish there were more sides! Buffalo cauliflower was well spiced along with the crispy rice. read more

I have come to enjoy their food, but tonight was an exception. Some ingredient (can't tell which) is VERY salty. And I paid extra for the avocado, but it's almost impossible to eat (hard and flaky, which is not how avocado is supposed to be). I'll also echo another recent comment - even though I went more than an hour before closing time, they were already running out of some ingredients. I have experienced something similar at least 3 times now, even during the day, at this and other locations. Lastly, their app stinks -- impossible to leave a comment like this directly with them. Doesn't bode well for their future I'm afraid. read more

Hail Mary pass with this Sweetgreen, closing time and only one we could make it to on foot. So, so we did. The pass was caught but SG usually has a habit of fumbling towards the end of the day with ingredients and their ability to assemble to bowls. They fumbled, but they recovered cause SG is just too damn good to mess up. read more

I am grateful that a place like this exists when we're in Chicago! It's a go to and I always leave feeling great!

I am a big fan of Sweetgreen and their salads and bowls but had the worst experience there recently. We walked in 30 mins before the store was set to close yet 1/2 of the ingredients were put away, all tables had chairs flipped up on them and the staff gave us dirty looks when we walked in. The manager had to force someone to stop sweeping the floor so they could make our bowls. The staff member incorrectly made both of our bowls and had to be reminded of the correct ingredients by us. Then we were lied to and told that the bowls don't come with bread even though they do, rather than just saying they were out of that as well. Will never be going back to this location within an hour of close. (Photos are from a previous visit when they actually gave us bread) read more

The staff was so high energy and fun when I walked in to pick up my food! They were all laughing and greeted me with kindness and smiles! The place was extremely clean and it seemed like such a nice place to sit and eat! I had gotten take out but the food and service was amazing overall! 20/10 recommend. read more

Can't order delivery from here anymore. We used to get this place delivered via Uber eats on a regular basis, and there were no problems. However, the last three times we have ordered, they have royally F'd up the order. Disappointing. read more

They're always out of ingredients. Whenever I get kale as my salad base there's always an obscene amount of stems.

This food was terrible, I paid 20 dollars for a garbage bowl of lettuce. She gave me the tiniest scoop of rice and steak and they tried charging me more for extra. The chicken was terrible literally tasted like my toes and the steak tasted like a cicada. People say chipotle is overpriced, yea try this garbage dump that the call a restaurant. Never go here it sucks like Biden read more

I ordered my bowl. Worker added olive oil which i did not ask for and was not included in the bowl. He said "is that fine?" I said "yes" out of reaction but not even a few seconds later i said "actually sorry, can you remake the bowl, i do not want the olive oil, i have many allergies." He said "No, you would have to pay twice." I argued back and he started yelling at me. Horrible customer service. He messed up my food. He should 1000% be fired. read more

Great customer service! Delicious, healthy food! Love that I could walk out of my hotel and have a healthy food option for dinner. This is my first time here, and the Elote Bowl was suggested and it's a hit! Great flavors bursting in every bite. I washed it down with a "Jasmine Green Tea with soba + yaupon" and I don't know what those are but it's an acquired taste. Luckily I have a diverse palate. Highly recommend. Bon appetite! read more

sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Wraps, and Bowls - I know people usually take pictures of the food, but I wanted you to see how I smashed this bowl! It was hella good! - Salad Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

In the dearth of food selection in Streeterville, yes, sweetgreen is pretty good. This is however the worst sweetgreen I've ever been to (though, having been to only 3, limited sample size); longest wait (upwards of 20 min and if you order on the app, order at least 45 min before the time you actually want to eat because the app time is not accurate, especially for lunch) and smallest portion sizes. Also, unlike other sweetgreen locations, there is no list where they source the ingredients. Small qualms, but it'd be nice to know. read more

Fresh delicious salads. I got 3 for pickup and they were ready before the estimated time. I would eat here every day if I could. The place was very clean and service was efficient. read more

The lines at this location is ridiculous, only person taking orders, preparing the order and cashing the order out with 10-20 people in line, that's ridiculous. Also, why do you have to mix the salads and bruise and destroy the ingredients , the customer can mix their Own salads, I rather do it myself, and stop running out of items, ie. like Focaccia, this location is Always Out! read more

Used to like this place a lot. I ordered delivery last night and it was disappointing :( salmon and chicken were dry and portion was small. Might be better with dine in. read more

Quite literally the worst sweetgreen in the city. Have tried this location 3 times now and have been disappointed by the staff and effort that goes into making a bowl each time. Will drive across the river from now on read more

This location is my favorite! The management is clearly exceptional in making sure customer satisfaction is first and foremost. Stood in line for 5 mins. Only 2 other people in line. A couple employees spoke but workers in back just kept working. Great establishment typically but obvious emphasis on meal prep as opposed to customer service. Would recommend trying a different location if in a hurry or looking for a "Quick" bit to eat. Perhaps more workers should be hired to avoid slippage and this was on St. Patricks day. read more

First, the food here is excellent! But they made a salad and grubHub delivered it on time but they didn't put dressing in the salad and no I don't have any salad dressing her, we have to throw out the whole thing! I tried to contact the customer service team and they were absolutely worthless. They sent me to GrubHub but it was the fault of the restaurant, not the delivery service. No one answers the phone, no one responds on the 'customer service" texts. So I won't be ordering from Sweetgreen again. Everyone makes mistake but the fact that there is no way to contact them to fix the mistakes is why I won't be back. And last, sort these reviews by lowest stars and you will see that this seems to be an ongoing problem that they continue to ignore. read more

It's so upsetting if they keep messing up your order. They messed it the first time, they missed my tofu and Parmesan crisps. Reported it to the manager but they only compensated and paid "cents" for the missing ingredient instead of replacing the entire order for free that ended up not eating. Last night 04/08/22 Friday, they missed my tofu and Parmesan crisp again! This is a second offense. WARNING U GUYS: check your order before u leave this branch as they will be missing some ingredients!!!!!! I wanted to call this branch at their number (847) 750-3544, when I opened my salad at home and seen no tofu and Parmesan crisps but looks like their phone isn't set-up for calls yet, it keeps saying "thanks for calling Sweetgreen, this location will be opening soon!", even if they're already open. So so upsetting and disappointing! Would not recommend this branch at all! They cheat their customers!!!!!!!!!! read more
