They do have a little dessert/coffee counter in the front of the restaurant where it connects to the hospital, which is kind of convenient if you want something sweet after dinner. We didn't try anything, but the cookies were huge. My husband and I both ordered the wild mushroom teriyaki bowl. I added shrimp to mine and he added chicken. The bowl didn't have much flavor and the vegetables were really hard and barely cooked. The kids got the chicken strips and fries. They were ok as expected.

They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!

Stopped here while visiting Chicago. After sifting through Yelp, we found this place. Our friend,…read morewho is a local, mentioned that she'd been there once and it was pretty good. The first thing I noticed walking in was the ambiance. Nice decor with a city hotspot feel. We had a teen and tween with us and both found something on the menu. Most of us ordered bowls with sesame sauce which were delicious. We each ordered different meats with our bowls and no complaints. My son had a crispy chicken sandwich which he devoured and my daughter had a quesadilla which they prepared especially for her without any sauce. Everything was tasty. We had a problem with our order when my daughter found a small piece of plastic wrapper in her food. We told our waiter and he immediately informed management. The manager came over and offered a new plate but my daughter was fine having the current plate. So instead, she comped her meal and gave her a choice of dessert with a gigantic milk. Despite the minor glitch, this place deserves 5 stars for the way they handled this issue. We feel they went above and beyond to remedy the situation. If only all restaurant management were like this. If we are ever in Chicago again, we will be back.

No notes. The sandwich had candied bacon on it with this perfect sweet flavor, and it normally comes with honey Dijon--but I don't do Dijon, so I swapped it for this garlic sauce ‍ And when I say that garlic tanginess mixed with the sweet candied bacon... whew. Chef's kiss. Absolute perfection. My boyfriend got the steak wok bowl with corn, broccoli, brown rice, and some other veggies--and I definitely stole a few bites It was SO good. Like... flavorful, fresh, just everything. The whole vibe? Perfect for a lunch date. The ambiance was cute, relaxed, and just right And I loved that they serve room temperature water (because ice? not my thing ‍) But let's talk about the real star--our waiter Eli He was AMAZING. Super personable, funny, and just a whole vibe. He had the cutest red cat-eye nails and burgundy hair accents--like, style on point He told us he manages both the Gold Coast and River North locations, so I'm definitely hoping we run into him again. And when me and my boyfriend were holding hands at the end, he goes, "Aww this is so cute. I'm not jealous though" we all cracked up. Just made the experience even better. Listen... 5 stars is not enough. It's just not. If you've been thinking about going--THIS IS YOUR SIGN. Go. I promise you won't regret it

There was a butterfly picture frame for $80. I'm certain I can find it on Amazon for $10. Lol Otherwise nice place. Theres also a nice little outdoor seating area. We were so happy with everything! Our server was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and on top of their game! We never waited for anything. They were immediately refilling our waters, offering more bread, removing dirty plates, replacing silverware, and offering the next course. It was perfect! The views!!! I think there's not a table in NoMi that doesn't have an amazing view. The main, large window faces the lake (East). Arriving just at 7, you get the full affect of the city, and lake, and then the sunset and lights of the buildings. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't get enough of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, but honestly it could have been a pit and I wouldn't have noticed. You'll be focused on the views for the entire evening. The food!!! Everything is very fresh. It's all well-prepared. Everything was delicious. There's a good variety of dishes to choose from. Plenty of healthy, low-carb options. We each ordered our own appetizers. I had the crispy Maitake mushrooms and my husband had the mussels. We both loved our food and left nothing on our plates. Excellent choices, that we highly recommend. As our main course we shared the sushi platter. The seafood was fresh and the sushi didn't have too much rice. It was the perfect amount of food with our appetizers. They have an extensive wine and drink menu. For drinks I had a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and my husband had a red blend. For dessert we weren't really hungry enough to eat anything else but my husband wanted a pallet cleanser. They have a few sorbets. My husband settled on the cherry cola sorbet. They brought it out with a little chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary" in French. They did not add it to our bill. Very sweet of them. It was probably one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. The bill was about $230 before tip. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.
