My husband and I went to the Streetsville CAVA multiple times during our stay in Chicago earlier this month. It was just around the corner from our hotel. It's a nice CAVA. There's a whole second floor with lots of seating. We never had issues with our orders placed over the app for pick-up. The ingredients are fresh. The eatery is clean. Staff are friendly.

Loved this location! The ingredients were totally full and fresh at the peak of lunch. I really appreciated how hardworking the employees were to keep everything stocked. And the employees were super kind. It was sweet how they intentionally wished you a good day (Susan especially did this!). Plenty of seating inside and it was kept clean. The restaurant was cute.

My first time trying Cava! It was super popular for a while and it took me almost a month to finally skip the long lines. Food: Not amazing, but decent. The setup is similar to Chipotle, just with way more different sauces and dressings, so there's something for everyone. Service: The staff was really nice and gave us great recommendations for our first visit. They also offered free chips for a first-time 5-star Google review. Ambiance: Always busy, but the space is bright and clean. Price: About $15 per person.

We got in at 5 pm and there was no line, we even let like 4 people pass us so we could choose something to try since it was our first time! The worker that helped us was sooooo nice and patient, she explained everything to us and I felt bad because we kind of created a line behind us... But anyways we both got chicken and rice bowls and they were packed with flavor. So fresh and delicious and we will definitely be back! There is also upstairs seating!

Tried Cava for the first time for a quick bowl-style work lunch and it really hit the mark. Not the craziest meal I've ever had, but for a fast-casual Mediterranean spot, it's top tier. Fresh ingredients, solid portions, and the hummus especially stood out. I got the Greek salad and everything in it was great. Not sure I'm rushing back immediately, but definitely one of the better options in the Mediterranean chain category.

I do like this location and there's seating both downstairs (for single diners) and upstairs (booths and larger tables). The overall concept is cool: a restaurant serving casual Mediterranean fare that takes a page out of Chipotle's business model. This site definitely still has some operational kinks to work out, which is not surprising since it's rather new. This was my first time trying CAVA and I ordered online thinking I would avoid the long lunchtime lines but the online ordering time for pickup ended up being one hour after placed my order. Even at 3pm on a weekday, there was still a long line and many guests were crowded around the pickup area. Basically, no matter what you plan, you'll probably end up waiting a bit for your food to be ready. I love all the customization options and portions are generous. They were out of some items when I ordered after the primary lunch rush. I went with a make your own bowl and chose the chicken as my protein. The chicken was very underwhelming, sadly. It was very dry and I had multiple pieces that were too tough to eat/tendinous/fatty. The harissa was a bit too spicy for my liking so I'd skip it next time. I honestly didn't find the overall ingredients to be that impressive and maybe I was just not great at creating my own bowl, but CAVA food quality and taste reminds me very much of Chipotle, except I've had much better chicken experiences at the latter. Hopefully it was just a batch of dry chicken that I got this time. Overall a promising new casual eatery in the neighborhood and I'd come back to try their lamb next time and probably go with a premade bowl or pita.

First time at Cava and the bowl was pretty flavorful. We came during the Air and Water show so it was packed, otherwise it seems like there'd be enough seats. I tried the Harissa Avocado bowl, Hot Harissa Pita Chips, and their juices (excellent). I'd come back, it was pretty good for the price and something different than your usual fast-casual places.

They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!

We visited on a Tuesday morning around 10:00am and were seated right away. The menu focuses on farm to table California style cuisine and it certainly delivered. I usually go for savory breakfasts but love a sweet treat mixed in here and there. We started with their apple coffee cake which was crumbly and gooey at the same time, with perfectly cooked apple chunks, a delicate, crumbled topping and a perfectly oil-glazed exterior. We each ordered their daily quiche, one vegetable based and one meat based. Truly my only complaint was this was more of a frittata than quiche given there was no flakey, buttery crust to support the eggs, however, the dish was still delicious. My red pepper and white cheese slice was hot, rich and bouncy with impeccable flavor and texture. The meat quiche was well received by my dining partner as well. And how can I forget the side salad? Probably amongst the most impressive I've tasted...shaved brussel sprouts, kale and cabbage make up the simple base with a caper vinaigrette that provides a umami hit to balance out the soft, rich egg bake. On top of it all, the woman who managed the cafe popped by our table a few times to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I would say a must try if you are in the area, and would make reservations on a weekend for sure.

The gluten-free sprinkle cupcake looks amazing too, but beware that it's very dry and lacks flavor. I also tried the cinnamon roll which was very good, and for my dish I ordered the Farm Table Burrata. In terms of the restaurant itself, there's very limited seating. Tables are close together, it can get very loud during lunch, and you are basically looking into the kitchen while also inside of an expensive store... it's odd but eclectic. The manager woman is extremely friendly and you can tell that she cares a lot about the customers and their feedback. I thought the food was tasty, but I will only be coming back for that black and white cupcake!

The first thing I noticed walking in was the ambiance. Nice decor with a city hotspot feel. We had a teen and tween with us and both found something on the menu. Most of us ordered bowls with sesame sauce which were delicious. We each ordered different meats with our bowls and no complaints. My son had a crispy chicken sandwich which he devoured and my daughter had a quesadilla which they prepared especially for her without any sauce. Everything was tasty. We had a problem with our order when my daughter found a small piece of plastic wrapper in her food. We told our waiter and he immediately informed management. The manager came over and offered a new plate but my daughter was fine having the current plate. So instead, she comped her meal and gave her a choice of dessert with a gigantic milk. Despite the minor glitch, this place deserves 5 stars for the way they handled this issue. We feel they went above and beyond to remedy the situation. If only all restaurant management were like this. If we are ever in Chicago again, we will be back.

The ambiance was cute, relaxed, and just right And I loved that they serve room temperature water (because ice? not my thing ‍) But let's talk about the real star--our waiter Eli He was AMAZING. Super personable, funny, and just a whole vibe. He had the cutest red cat-eye nails and burgundy hair accents--like, style on point He told us he manages both the Gold Coast and River North locations, so I'm definitely hoping we run into him again. And when me and my boyfriend were holding hands at the end, he goes, "Aww this is so cute. I'm not jealous though" we all cracked up. Just made the experience even better.
