The food was average and the portions were on the smaller end of what I'm used to. The soda I got tasted really weird and off.

Loved this place! The location was super convenient. Great window seating for people watching. Not too crowded when we went at all, but started to fill up closer to dinner time. My boyfriend and I both got Pad Thai. I ordered mine spicy and it was definitely spicy! The teas were necessary to handle to spice. The flavors were amazing. We also got Thai teas to go that we could drink on our walk back. The food was the perfect break from eating mostly fried American food for our entire trip.

It's big and spacious inside. I didn't get the one who took my order but the person who served my plate was NAT. NAT was cordial. I noticed there was no utensils given until I asked and she pointed to the self served station. My drunken spicy chicken noodles was $15.95 Tax $1.88 and I did 10% tip =$2.39 totaling $20.22 for just a plate Luckily they had free water by self service Cashier should tell people that there's a self service station. Giving it 4 stars bc one should be told about self service station. There is a QR code at numbered tables but there's also a printed laminated menu where you can quickly order up front.

Happy to have a new food option in the Loop, we live nearby. It seems like almost every new restaurant is for desserts, so it's a pleasure to have some Thai nearby. The space was unoccupied a couple years, it has been repurposed with minimal modifications and modest decoration. The servers were welcoming and they seem eager to please and do well. We got the lunch specials which includes a large plate of one item, one appetizer (chicken gyoza for me) and limitless soda refill (pepsi). The food was fast, fresh and just the right amount. Cost is a little high but standard for Loop 2026 ($47 for two lunch specials). We plan to visit again and again! The only post-visit annoyance was that after I signed up for emails I got SIX emails in 2 days from them, tried to reply back to their marketing email but it bounced back. I hope they can reduce the frequency of emails.

Came out super fresh and hot! I thought it was a little bit pricey but the portion was generous. It was quite packed around lunch time and got a little backed up, but wasn't an issue.

My order receipt - food not what I asked for.

I came upon this place running an errand from work. I love Thai cuisine and I love Basil so I decided on 1/12/26 to pay them a visit. When I walked in, I wanted to look at the menu and order. One of the male workers walked up to me and was welcoming me to the place and was giving me some information. I really just wanted to look at the menu so I waited until he finished so I could get to the menu to order. They had egg fried rice and I asked them if they could do shrimp fried rice with basil. They refused. I then asked if they could do the egg fried rice but add shrimp in it along with basil and they told me that there would be a $3 upcharge for the shrimp and a $3 upcharge for the basil. I said fine. So, my bill was over $24. When I got my food, I was totally disappointed. What I got was egg fried rice along with a shrimp with basil sauce dish. This isn't what I asked for. What the business has on their 11/13/25 Yelp photo is what I wanted, simple Shrimp Fried Rice with Basil. I love egg in my fried rice but the egg is grounded up so small in the fried rice - make the egg with bigger pieces. The shrimp basil dish had lots of green beans, some of which were cooked all the way through and some which weren't but there were some that had brown spots on them (see photo) so that let me know these weren't fresh. The positives is that it's in a prime location (I think they are fairly new). They use actual silverware when dining in. Their hard plastic glasses are nice as I used them to get some water in. They have soy sauce bottles on the table by the flatware if you want to use it, however, it was only low sodium which tastes completely different from regular soy sauce. Have both so customers can decide. This isn't a place I think I would come back to. They are new and are still working out stuff but I just wasn't satisfied at my visit to really give them another chance.

Very allergy friendly and yummy, reasonably priced food. The spice level was great (I got spicy pad see ew). We enjoyed it and the service was nice.

Happy to see another place opening up in the loop, especially after losing Jiao Enjoyed the pad see ew and drunken noodles; pad Thai was ok but not as good as the other two. Staff are friendly and the food comes out fast and fresh. Lots of tables of various sizes, so I feel like this is a nice option for small and medium-size groups. Solid Thai food in a casual setting; will definitely be back to try more of the menu and the lunch set!

My adult daughter and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Green Basil Street before seeing "Hamilton" in downtown Chicago (easy walk from our hotel). We both LOVED our entrees, food tasted delicious and fresh (not greasy). And the staff were amazing - very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Awesome quick eat find. We popped in with a group of four after work before going to a Broadway show. Service was easy and quick. You order up front and can use the QR codes at the table to order and pay. Food came out fast and was scrumptious. Perfectly prepared Thai food. I ordered shrimp pad see ew and the flavor was spot on perfection and shrimp was tender and not over cooked. They have great selection of gluten free options as well.

The service and staff was great. A nice solid Thai spot with good food and pretty great Thai tea. The dinner trio was a great deal.

We had called ahead to reserve a table and yet there was none available when we arrived. After waiting a bit, we were finally sat down but took about 30 minutes for the solo server to come by. She was clearly over-worked and exhausted and trying her best to keep it together but also in near tears. The food didn't even taste authentic - one of the dishes that should've had lemongrass actually had just basil instead. Maybe they ran out of ingredients? The corn fritters weren't fully cooked on the inside and doughy. And then, a homeless person high on drugs walked in and started asking each table for food. No one did anything about this and it made the whole experience even more awkward.

The crab Rangoons are AMAZING as well, which says a lot because I have tried at least 30 in the city. These are top 5. Lastly, beef chow fun was okay. It didn't have much flavor and the beef was tough/hard to bite through so not a fan of that.

I'm…read morenot sure if there has been a change in management or the kitchen, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had here. The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.
