Happy to have a new food option in the Loop, we live nearby. It seems like almost every new restaurant is for desserts, so it's a pleasure to have some Thai nearby. The space was unoccupied a couple years, it has been repurposed with minimal modifications and modest decoration. The servers were welcoming and they seem eager to please and do well. We got the lunch specials which includes a large plate of one item, one appetizer (chicken gyoza for me) and limitless soda refill (pepsi). The food was fast, fresh and just the right amount. Cost is a little high but standard for Loop 2026 ($47 for two lunch specials). We plan to visit again and again! The only post-visit annoyance was that after I signed up for emails I got SIX emails in 2 days from them, tried to reply back to their marketing email but it bounced back. I hope they can reduce the frequency of emails.

Came out super fresh and hot! I thought it was a little bit pricey but the portion was generous. It was quite packed around lunch time and got a little backed up, but wasn't an issue.

My adult daughter and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Green Basil Street before seeing "Hamilton" in downtown Chicago (easy walk from our hotel). We both LOVED our entrees, food tasted delicious and fresh (not greasy). And the staff were amazing - very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Happy to see another place opening up in the loop, especially after losing Jiao Enjoyed the pad see ew and drunken noodles; pad Thai was ok but not as good as the other two. Staff are friendly and the food comes out fast and fresh. Lots of tables of various sizes, so I feel like this is a nice option for small and medium-size groups. Solid Thai food in a casual setting; will definitely be back to try more of the menu and the lunch set!

Awesome quick eat find. We popped in with a group of four after work before going to a Broadway show. Service was easy and quick. You order up front and can use the QR codes at the table to order and pay. Food came out fast and was scrumptious. Perfectly prepared Thai food. I ordered shrimp pad see ew and the flavor was spot on perfection and shrimp was tender and not over cooked. They have great selection of gluten free options as well.

The service and staff was great. A nice solid Thai spot with good food and pretty great Thai tea. The dinner trio was a great deal.

Legit one of the most authentic Thai places, especially with their Tom Yum Goong. It was the same creamy goodness that I remember growing up with. I usually serve it with a bowl of rice and they are very generous with the amount of prawns in there. Their papaya salad is funky and delicious. I love the curry as well!

Luckily with the reservation we were seated right away. For the weekend visit it was so hectic and service wasn't the best. We didn't get our order taken until about 20 minutes after being seated. We were sitting and waiting for a while. Trying to flag down a server was impossible because of how busy it was. On the weekday service was much more attentive. Visiting on a weekday would be much more worth it since you can just walk in. Both times we ordered the Tum Thai (papaya salad), but the only difference is on the weekend we were NOT allow to adjust the spicy level on the salad. The server informed us that it was already premade so spiciness was no adjustment. I loved it but the spicy level was a bit too much for me. Everything came out relatively quick. All the dishes were very well seasoned and saucy. My favorite was the kor moo yang, tum Thai, and mango sticky rice! I would come back just for the sticky rice because it is so addicting!!!

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
