Sweetgreen is definitely one of my "healthy" fast casual options in rotation, though it was my first time visiting the location in downtown ATX. For lunch, I tried one of their new seasonal salad bowls (normally the Chinese Chicken Salad) but I subbed tofu instead of chicken. It came with sesame crisps which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I also appreciated the sweet, tangy dressing. I like the tofu cubes they use because they are soft, decently-cubed, and not overcooked. They have a delectably chewy texture as well. The ambiance and seating arrangement of this location also felt comfortable and the windows helped with lighting. I know it's overpriced but I do love Sweetgreen! Their specialty is health salads and protein bowls. My to go order today was the Harvest Bowl--kale, chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing. I get this one all the time, it's one of the best salads and the goat cheese is the perfect addition. I also ordered the Steak Mezze which is basically a Mediterranean bowl. I was happy with my hot honey chicken protein plate. I sometimes feel like Sweetgreen skimps on the portions, but this was a very filling bowl that I got two meals out of. I was a big fan of the sweet potatoes, and I enjoyed the quinoa even though I usually do not like quinoa that much. The chicken was tasty, and the flavours were great. Thank goodness SweetGreen now offers their Outpost service to my work location. Since then, delivery times have improved significantly. It's safe to say that 99% of the time, my order arrives within the designated window. I do wish for more options as the Outpost menu (I rotate between 3 bowls/salads) varies slightly from regular pick up/delivery choices. Otherwise, still a decent option for lunch. read more

This is my favorite sweetgreen location. The online ordering is super easy and they fill my bowls to the brim every single time. I love the staff who are super friendly even though they are always in a lunch rush. I get the spicy green goddess and it hits every. Single. Time. I try to sign up for a new account and I get an email that says there already exists one with my email. That email contains a link to reset password that only takes me back to the log in page. And from there I can click on the forgot password button as many times as I like and it tells me every time that they sent the email! But the email never comes. I also tried to the chat feature to problem solve and give them the feedback that their site isn't working BUT surprise surprise, the chat feature is awwwwwful. There's one sauce that I don't like and it's the nuoc cham vinaigrette which I describe as tangy and sour. Other than that, I have high regards to everything else! The one gripe I hear is the price and I justify it because the salads are a great filling portion plus the ingredients are fresh PLUS you can build your own salad so you get to have full autonomy over your own salad if you wish. Sometimes if I have chicken/meat at home already cooked, I'll just get a salad without meat and save a little $ and then add it at home, so that's one thing you could do to save on cost. I have ordered from the south Congress sweetgreen 20+ times and have always loved it. Unfortunately my experience ordering from this location was not as positive. Around 6:30 I ordered 4 bowls for delivery that were not ready until about 7:45 even though the estimated time said 7:15, and ended up not arriving to me until 8pm. Every single salad was missing something. The worst was mine, which was missing over half of the ingredients, including the dressing. I ended up getting a full refund, which is why I'm leaving 2 stars and not 1, but it was a pretty disappointing experience. read more

Great sweet green location- nice indoor and outdoor seating peaceful and quiet- great ingredients aswell. Love the giant portobello mushrooms- They are larger than other sweet green locations so it's more flavorful (others they chop them small). My only recommendation is that they start making the tofu with cayenne and not black pepper bc it's significantly better on digestion and for people as a whole health wise. read more
