ALL is forgiven. Today I went to Sweet Rea and was given a five star breakfast. The chicken fried steak was fork tender, the hash browns cooked perfectly, the eggs cooked perfectly and the toast was just right. Quite a change from my last experience. The restaurant was clean, the service was great and the staff were . Thank you for today. I will return again and again

Good portions, good food and great staff. Another place we had wished we would have found years ago. Our group had a mixtures of brisket salad, some burgers and french dip and all were excellent. Coleslaw does have those dried cranberry raisin things in it. That could be good for some people or shocking to others so I wanted to call that out. All the sides were good, another thing i judge a place on. You got to have good sides to go along with the mains.

Wow! We were looking for someplace to grab a quick breakfast before heading north. My wife did a quick search on Yelp and came across this place We checked out their menu online. The breakfast menu includes plates, skillets, omelets, biscuits and gravy and burritos. The meat options include: bacon, sausage, pulled pork, Tri-tip, chorizo, brisket, ham pork chops and country fried steak. We did not even check out the rest of the menu. We decided to get breakfast burritos. We made a quick call to make sure they were open on Christmas eve, and they were. All breakfast burritos come with egg, cheese, hash browns, onions and peppers. My wife chose the BMP (bacon, mushroom, pepperjack) and I chose the Wilber (pulled pork and Carolina mustard) We arrived and walked inside. There were a few others, placing oders or picking up to-go orders. The place itself is simple and nothing fancy but appeared clean. There were a few tables inside and what appeared to be an outdoor seating area. When it was our turn, we approached the counter and our order was already bagged up and ready to go with the extra salsa we asked for. We opened the bag when we got the car and were surprised how big the burritos were. We each took a few bites and thought they were very tasty. The Wilber had a lot of pulled pork and the Carolina mustard was not over powering. I was really impressed with the taste. My wife said the BMP burrito was amazing as well. It was packed with lots of goodies and they weighed a ton. Would definitely recommend and go back when in the area.

It took 30 minutes to reach our table. We were encouraged and excited to try the food and then we were weirdly disappointed. No flavor. I understand farm to table, but zero flavor. Hot sauce was offered. I accepted. Helped out. My husband's Ruben wasn't what he was expecting. The meat was dry and had no flavor. Strange, because usually a Ruben sandwich has a lot of roasted flavor. He said it tasted like dry roast beef. Had a lot of picture quality, but not much else.

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back! Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.
