The elephant ears are amazing- light, fluffy and delightful. You get 8 bites for $7.00 They can be plain w cinnamon and sugar or you can add caramel, marshmallow, chocolate and more

Looks to be a small family owned snack shop. We stood at the counter for a few minutes before being acknowledged. We ordered some elephant ear bites and a hand dipped corndog. As we waited we noticed a young girl wiping down things. When customers walked in she just kind of looked at them and kept on doing what she was doing. Hopefully she will be taught to acknowledge and or greet customers and let them know that someone will be with them shortly--as I did hear her respond to one customer that asked if she was allowed to take their order. The elephant ear bites were good. The corndog was okay. Other items like milkshakes were pretty expensive on the menu...but after going the grocery store here I can see why. When we left we were thanked for our business. I would return and maybe try the pizza--and some more elephant ears.

    Cheese pizza slices for lunch!

When I last posted, things were chaotic in Long Beach. Now, a couple days after the 4th of July, they are open and we were the first ones in! We got three slices of cheese pizza and a cotton candy waffle cone ice cream. The cashier was super nice, everything came out quickly, and it was delicious. Love the pizza dough!

Our family loves her pizzas! It's always cooked to perfection and never overdone. Our favorite is the garlic chicken and our kids love the Hawaiian. We make it a point to stop in every time we are in town. A family favorite for sure!

Elephant ear bites with powdered sugar, strawberry and chocolate...amazing.

God bless the poor clerk behind the counter who had to take an order from my senior parents for elephant ear bites before I placed my own. She was so kind and patient and explained what they were and the topping options to them several times as they couldn't quite wrap their heads around all the possibilities. Extra points for being so patient with us... I ordered mine drizzled with powdered sugar, and topped with strawberries/strawberry sauce and chocolate syrup and I think this is my best elephant ear experience thus far. Over-frying can quickly ruin one of these doughy delicacies but it was absolutely perfect and the toppings were such a killer combination of flavors that I felt my synapses firing at each bite. It's the one dessert that will hold a place in my sclerotic heart as I head back home.

Oh my goodness this was our favorite find while staying in Long Beach for the week. Wow big hit with both kids and adults! Our son says you HAVE to try the cotton candy lemonade, the cheese pizza was basic but loved the sauce and the dough is amazingly chewy. We ordered sight unseen 3 elephant ears, not knowing they were a foot long each! Suffice to say there was PLENTY to go around. Must stop while in Long Beach

Over priced. Poor service. Dirty facility. And food not so good. Really a disappointment.

This place is a massive, nostalgic treasure trove! It's part convenience store, part candy land,…read morefeaturing everything from fudge and unique knick-knacks to one of the coolest energy drink selections I've ever seen. They even carry Faygo, which is a rare find here on the West Coast. It definitely has a nostalgic ambiance while being just modern enough. Its also at the end of the strip (or start depending where you park) which makes it convenient. While the ice cream selection is huge, the ordering process is a bit of a puzzle. You're required to pay at the register before you even pick your flavors, which is at the end of the long counter. You pass all the ice cream to get there which leads to a lot of confusion and some "line tension" among customers. It's also worth noting that they don't offer samples-which is a bit of a bummer considering how many delicious options there are! If you can navigate the at times chaotic line, the treats are worth it.

Within seconds we were treated with outright disrespect by an elderly woman near the salt-water taffy. She immediately started shaking her head at us and then made multiple inappropriate and disgusting comments -- within less than a minute: - "Is this an insane asylum or a sane asylum?" - Telling my 12 year old daughter and niece to "close their legs and keep them shut." Speaking to CHILDREN like that is beyond inappropriate--it's disturbing. As we were walking out she went behind the counter and started opening & shutting cabinets as loudly as she could. We didn't even stay a full minute before leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we were. No family should ever be made to feel like that walking into a business. If this is how customers, especially kids are treated, then Scoopers doesn't deserve anyone's business. We will never be back.
