The folks at North Beach Tavern continue to grow and improve their menu with new things to drink and great new pizza selections. The latest pizza menu attached.

Tried the Taco Pizza tonight with all of the accompaniments. Chefs kiss. Ten out of ten. Perfection. I WILL order this every time I'm in Long Beach from now on. Staff is wonderful every time, too!

Pizza was yummy, thinner crust style. Beers are mostly local. You can log onto the web site to see when they are having live music. Outside seating for dogs and blankets are available for all customers Incase it gets chilly. Owner was here working the last two nights, friendly staff.

There's music, and it's well done. There's a great selection of local/regional craft beers. And the pizza is the best in town. With the summer here, they have created a great outdoor dining area, which is where the music is currently being presented. Indoor dining is also available. Fun atmosphere, good fun, friendly service. One of my favorite places on the peninsula.

Cute little place in the north end of town by our condo. Seating is limited, but wait a few minutes and a table will come available. The 2 gals working the floor and bar - they were HUMPIN' It! Good house wine, got the deluxe pizza (yes we added pineapple). Absolutely fantastic. Crust on the thinner side, which I prefer. Toppings were abundant not overpowering. Perfect amount of gooey melted cheese... But the sauce, that made it. Possibly the best sauce, taste and amount that I've had in some time. We get to Long Beach often. The gal at the visitor center recommended this place. I do as well. We will be back.

Tiffany answered the call and efficiently took my delivery order. We ordered the Columbia salad, Deluxe 16" Pizza, and cheese sticks with marinara. We stayed at a nearby hotel for the weekend. This is only pizza delivery available in Long Beach by our hotel. So be prepared to order early before meal times. Delivery: Great delivery guy who was probably a retired grandpa. He was very kind and prompt. We tipped him very well because the service was amazing! He was also very well-spoken with a positive attitude. Pizza was promised within 45 minutes, and they meant it. Ordering: Tiffany answered the phone, took our order, and credit card payment. She thanked us for our business. She was amazing and kind. Efficient and professional. Food quality: Everything was fresh! The Columbia salad had fresh sliced apples, apple vinaigrette, and crispy greens. I loved the feta, cranberries, and pecans, which added sweetness and crunch to the texture. This was very refreshing with the pizza!! I highly recommend this simple, naturally sweet salad with a bit of tartness from the apples and feta cheese. Pizza: This is the first pizza I have had in Washington since moving from the midwest. I loved Italian inspired Punch Pizza and had yet to find anything worth raving about until now. This pizza had a crisp thin crust, loaded with cheese, ham, sausage, pepperoni, olives, onions, and mushrooms. My husband said the pizza box was so heavy! That's a compliment! I loved how hot this pizza was! It was straight out of the oven. I almost burned my lips. When was the last time you had fresh, made to order delivery? If you want pizza, this is the place to order it. There are no crust options from what I could tell, but who cares! It's simple food and fresh ingredients. What is there to complain about? I didn't intend to eat 2 slices, but after one bite.. I couldn't stop. The marinara was mild which I loved. I have a sensitive stomach so really tart or acidic marinara sometimes throws my taste buds off. The toppings played well together and were freshly sliced. The toppings were also very thoughtfully placed and portioned through out. I can tell the person who made this pie made this with care. Thank you so much for providing such awesome service, quality, and kindness! Go support this business.

A coastal hideaway worth the experience, flaws and all:…read more Before anything else: Alyssa was our server, and she was fantastic. Warm, attentive, genuinely friendly in a way that felt human instead of rehearsed. When we paused for family prayer at the table, she didn't hover awkwardly or disappear, she joined us. That kind of moment doesn't show up on a menu, but it shapes the entire meal. It's the difference between being served and being welcomed. Mother's Day dinners are usually built on sentiment first, food second. The Pickled Fish is the rare place that reminds you why people keep chasing the ritual anyway. Perched above the grey Pacific, it feels less like a polished fine-dining machine and more like a slightly rebellious coastal hideaway, comfort, ambition, salt air, and wine colliding somewhere between elegance and controlled chaos. Some dishes arrived nearly complete, others still searching for themselves. But every plate carried sincerity, and that's rare in modern dining rooms obsessed with performance over pleasure. Burrata with Cashew Pesto, Arugula & Lemon Zest: A genuinely good dish trying to claw its way out of the plate. Peppery arugula, earthy-sweet pesto, indulgent burrata. But it lacks tension, the lemon should cut through the fat like a straight razor and barely shows up. The olive oil disappears when it should be carrying part of the conversation. And the sourdough eats like a sandwich slice instead of an appetizer; smaller bruschetta-style cuts would change the whole experience. The foundation is there. It just needs editing. Kind Stranger "Alter" 2023 Red Blend Drinks like someone trying hard not to make another predictable Pacific Northwest red, and mostly succeeding. Black cherry, plum skin, dry cacao, a little amaro bitterness lingering at the back. No syrupy jam bomb, no over-oaked vanity. Slightly rough around the edges in a way that suggests actual people made it. Not profound, but honest, and honesty travels farther than perfection. Pork Schnitzel with Sautéed Asparagus (substituted), Roasted Fingerlings & Onion Gravy: The dish of the night. No foam, no tweezers, no lecture about deconstruction. Just a properly fried cutlet that shatters under the knife, earthy fingerlings, fresh asparagus, and a deep savory onion gravy that complements instead of suffocates. The asparagus substitution, by the way, was handled cleanly, no pushback, no fuss, which says something about a kitchen that respects the diner instead of the ego of the menu. One sharp note of acidity, a brighter mustard, sharper pickle, lemon over the schnitzel, would push it from "very good comfort food" to memorable. But maybe that's the point. It isn't trying to be revolutionary. It's trying to make you happy for an hour. And it succeeds. Cinnamon Bread Pudding with Bourbon, Dates & D'Anjou Pears: The kind of dessert that makes you understand why people romanticize cold weather. Warm, fragrant, grounded by bourbon's dark caramel depth. Dates melt in like brown sugar with a pulse, pears add lift, and the compote is almost sinful. Unlike most bread puddings that collapse into wet cement, this one keeps structure at the edges and stays custardy in the center. My one critique: the bread itself runs a little thin. More of it would give the dish the heft it deserves and let the bourbon, dates, and compote have something substantial to anchor to. As is, it's excellent, but it's a few ounces of bread away from unforgettable. Cardamom Chocolate Panna Cotta with Espresso Chantilly: This dessert does not whisper. Cardamom hits first, floral, spicy, mysterious, then chocolate settles in underneath like wet velvet. The panna cotta is technically excellent, trembling at the edge of collapse with every spoonful. It's heavy, no question, but the espresso keeps the chocolate from going sleepy and the cardamom keeps it interesting. The dessert equivalent of an after-hours jazz bar, dark, warm, luxurious, just slightly excessive. Not every night. But tonight? Absolutely. Bottom line: Not flawless, but sincere, and that's the whole point. Great service from Alyssa, a kitchen that cooks with conviction, and a room that lets the meal breathe. Worth the drive, worth the wine, worth lingering until the coast disappears outside the windows.

The salmon entree was a really small portion and overcooked, only a few brussel sprouts on the plate. The rigatoni was very basic and the added crab was an extremely small amount for the added price. My recommendation is have a drink and appetizer and skip the entree.

We ordered a large, hot Chai, a cold, medium Chai and a large, iced caramel quad shot latte. We also asked for two slices of warmed banana bread with Honeycomb butter. The banana bread was delicious, but not warmed. My friend's daughter ordered the waffles with berries. The berries were fresh, the waffle was a little in the extra crispy side, but she wanted everyone to know the whipped cream was really tasty. I ordered the shakshuka. I have only ever seen them make it on the Food Network and have always wanted to try it. It was served piping hot with four small slices of toasted baguette. It was unbelievably flavorful and so delicious. My only complaint is the eggs are supposed to be jammy/runny and mine were very over cooked. However, it was still sooo good! Probably could use another six slices of baguette or just a while one altogether, to finish the meal. I had almost 3/4 of it left and no way to eat it. My latte came hot and large, but when I asked them to remake it because I don't drink hot coffee and asked for it iced, they remade it cold and small. Both of the people drinking chai said it had no flavor and was like drinking white water.
