A great but smaller cafe, they have both sweet and savory menu options, Keto, bowls, waffles, crepes, sandwiches, and toasts as well as coffee, shakes and juices. I vow I'm going to try something different but always end up with the Avocado Benny Toast...so messy and so good. Their Mexican mocha is amazing and I love that they take the time to put a design in it when you eat there. Usually love this place and was a customer from when they first opened. Today I came in like I usually do waited for a table to open and sat down. Pulled up chairs for my kiddos and friends that were joining. After about 10 min of sitting someone came up and said we had to leave the table and get on a wait list. There is no sign or anything they said we will be next to be seated and instead waited 20 minutes and they sat 3-4 parties before us. Since when do coffee shops have a wait list? Never in my life have I heard this and was super disappointed and super unprofessional to make people get up AFTER they already seated 4 kids and 3 other adults. Love this place! I tried their crepes, which were pretty good, and their açaí bowls, which were very delicious! It's a cute little brunch place to go with a friend but definitely not a large group. The space is pretty small and can get crowded very quickly because it has gotten pretty popular. So cute....but SERIOUS service challenges! We live in Kent and were so excited when a new breakfast cafe opened in our backyard. Our first visit was shortly after they opened, and it wasn't a great experience. No greeting when you entered, it wasn't clear how or where you ordered, and nobody took initiative to help. While it should be intuitive given how small the space is, it wasn't clear if we seat ourselves, order at the counter, or wait for assistance. In the end we were seated waiting for our food and watched it sit on the counter for quite some time, unsure if we were supposed to grab it or if it would be served to our table (no one called our name or announced the order). We left disappointed and unsure if we would return. Fast forward to today, roughly a year later when we felt it would be worth giving a new business a second chance. Our hope was that the early kinks would be worked out, and that we could expect a much more pleasant experience. Call it deja vu, but we arrived to a nearly empty restaurant and again, were not greeted or even acknowledged. We waited for the patron ahead of us to order and helped ourselves to a menu while we waited in line. When it was our turn, the cashier was curt and abrasive after the order was placed. With a simple "Thank You" on the screen, we believed we were finished before she asked "Do you want to leave a tip or what?" in a snarky tone, at which point I looked back to see the screen update to tipping options. Is negative tip an option? We waited at a table outside for over 15 minutes for two acai bowls. It's not necessarily the delay that was the issue, as it was the lack of clarity as to whether or not we were expected to come back or if the order would be brought to us. The confusion is because they take your name for the order, but don't explain how you should retrieve your order. Spoiler alert: a server brought it to us, and practically threw the bowls on the table as quickly as she could. Another disappointing experience for decent food quality. Heard about this cafe from a friend, so I decided to go there with my girlfriend about a week ago. The decor is really trendy but the coffee was absolutely horrible. The cashier seemed lost and confused when we placed our order (there weren't a lot of customers either) but the real disappointment was the coffee. I had an iced americano and my girlfriend had a hot latte, both drinks tasted burnt and were extremely bitter. It is possible they are using very low quality coffee beans and/or their staff simply don't know how to make a decent cup of coffee. After tasting the coffee we didn't have the courage to spend more money on their food and threw our coffee away as we walked out the door. The ONLY reason they get two stars is because of the decor. If they fix their staff and get some quality coffee beans they could have a really nice cafe. read more

I really enjoy this cafe but todays experience was bad. My son and I came in, it was busy and there were a couple tables available in the back. They have a large sign at the order counter that says, please order before grabbing a table, fair enough. We stand in line, another lady comes in and sees the table and proceeds to go to the back and sit at the tables. I see her speak to one of the workers and she stands back in line. I think, surely the girl must have told her their policy. I place my order and the girl says you are at table number 5. I go to sit down and then she comes to us and says the table has been taken by a larger group and we have to sit at the small tables in the front of the cafe. I'm not happy about this so we go to the front and the table is literally right next to their busy line! I don't want to enjoy my food with a bunch of strangers standing in front of me, especially with a toddler. I get it, it's busy but don't post a sign saying you have to place a food order before grabbing a table if that's not the case. Had I known, I could have asked to grab that table beforehand. I really love the food here but after todays experience, I don't think we'll be coming back.
