Parking js a major problem! The sign for retail parking (poorly visible) directs one to a garage that costs at a minimum $15. That basically would double my lunch cost. No clear signs where to park for the Sweet Leaf for order pickup. Also, I asked for utensils in the order, which included soup. Of course, I was given a knife and a fork, but not a spoon. Stopped by for salads after a free workout class at the metro. Ordered a pre-made salad and requested different dressing. Ingredients seemed fresh and appreciated the avocado included (though would have liked it cut verse in one large half scoop). Definitely recommend ordering dressing on the side! Service was standard, ladies behind the counter seemed friendly. The outdoor patio is functional and does make it fun for people watching. The National games are streamed from a huge projector screen nearby so fun to watch. I was surprised by Swear Leaf's menu variety. Based on the name I had always thought it was a salad restaurant, but I was happy to learn they have many different healthy food options. I got the "So Cali Club" and really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. First time here. The food was great. There were seven of us and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos were yummy. My kids and mother in law enjoyed their berry toast (a bit expensive for one slice) and the boys loved their smoothies. The coffee was delicious and free refills. This is new, then again I haven't been taking the metro in a while. As a vegetarian, I was all over trying this one out. Got takeout today and listened to their recommendations to get Falafel grain bowl. It was good but a little heavy on the rice. Nutrition info says 645 calories but with the bowl being 1/2 rice I'd say it's more like 800-1000 cal. Everything was fresh just wish there were more greens. Clean place, very fast, courteous service. Got a piece of bread with bowl. Would definitely try again, some of the other options that looked good like veggie stack, etc. read more

You have to park in the kiss and ride metro parking. The location WILL validate your parking but YOU have to ask. Parking is free on the weekends and doesn't need to be validated. There is no street parking or parking lot. It's located across from Founding Farmers and next to Starbucks in the plaza. Upon entering this location it has a very minimalist, millennial kind of decor that seemed to target the young professionals that frequent the metro stop. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can either build your own bowl/salad, which can get pricy with add-ons) or you can select one of their signature bowls/salads. The serving sizes are quite large, so you may leave with some left overs. I loved the fact that they had a basic kids menu that contained items like a PB&J, quesadilla grilled cheese,etc. All kids menu items were $5. Love that adults can have adult meals and still have something for the kiddos! I got their falafel bowl and it was delicious! Because of dietary restrictions I asked for no cheese and the staff even checked the ingredients list to make sure the sauce I wanted didn't contain dairy. WE LOVE AN EMPLOYEE THAT GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND. They also have gender neutral bathrooms, WE LIKE THAT. They also offer ample outdoor seating. WE LIKE THAT TOO. I frequent another location that doesn't always deliver the goods when it's comes to portion sizes but, this location comes correct on the sizes of the salads. So far, so good. Keep up the good work. This location is a mess. It's never open as advertised. Both Yelp and the sweet leaf website says it's open till 8 - it never is. Was acceptable at the beginning of the pandemic but now it's just a sign of a business that doesn't have any clue how a business should be run. Many other and better options nearby. Smoothies here are also delicious, but a little small for the price, although prices overall I thought were fine. Hours are incorrect on yelp, but may be correct on google? I don't have many options near the office so I've given Sweet Leaf a lot of tries. Unfortunately they continue to disappoint. Their ingredients always seem fresh and of high quality but they've gotten my orders right let than 50% of the time (not an exaggeration) and my colleague was chewing on grit in her quinoa salad the other day. I like most of the dressings as well as the combinations they come up with on the menu (although they aren't consistent with the amount of each ingredient they use) so, fingers crossed, one day they'll get a handle on executing the salads cleanly and correctly! read more

When I saw that Sweet Leaf opened a new location in Reston I was thrilled! I love their sandwiches! The Caprese is SO good, the San Remo is a favorite for my husband and my kids like to explore with the menu. I told my husband that I want everyone to go to this restaurant so that it will stay open and I can keep enjoying their food. It's really a selfish request! The only down side of course is that parking is a challenge unless you pay for parking in the garage. When I discovered the restaurant a few weeks ago, I waited all day for my metro return from DC to get my dinner--it was well worth it! Ingredients are really fresh, sauces are tasty on their sandwiches and the cafe is really clean. We used to love going to the one in Vienna and were excited to check this one out, however our excitement was short lived as soon as we got in. The place was empty and was hard to tell if they were still serving food. The vegetables looked like they have been sitting out for a while and was wilted. The falafel was cold and did not taste good. Over all the food was not good and service was even worse. Even though we were the only ones at the place, it took the cashier 10 mins figure out how to check us out. Further, to top it all, they neglected to mention that parking needs to be validated. We had to pay another $5 at the parking garage which also doesn't have any signs stating that the retailers need to validate parking.
