Falafel Tzatziki (remix)
Michele B.

Attempting to calm this temperamental tummy So struggling for options ... satisfying... filling options So upon recommendations from my nutritionist I was referred to Sweet Leaf Now I Love a good salad...but grain bowl isn't necessarily what I'm into But lessss gooooo The Sweet Leaf is inviting I was greeted by a really nice lady. After I debated back n forth (mentally) with the menu she suggested a grain bowl. Now as previously stated I'm not a true fan of the grain bowl... But I'm willing to try anything once I ordered the Falafel Tzatziki bowl..... as it appears on the menu. Made to order... I was happy with the portion. Overall my experience was good and I would recommend

CheeseSteak -it's the bomb!

Great atmosphere, better food and just so delicious. Wife got the Sabroso grain bowl which she craves. I tried the CheeseSteak, very glad I went for it, it's amazing. Boys got smoothies, blows "trop smooth" outta the water. Thanks for the leaf love Sweet Leaf!

I was surprised by Swear Leaf's menu variety. Based on the name I had always thought it was a salad restaurant, but I was happy to learn they have many different healthy food options. I got the "So Cali Club" and really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. In terms of the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was very busy and a bit hectic while I was there. It may be different on a regular basis but when I was picking up my order that was my observation.

RESTON, VA LUNCH +Loyalty rewards program. +Various lunch offerings rotating off of a seasonal menu. +You can custom order your salads. +The prices aren't too bad. -Parking can be challenging. -Some may find the portion sizes aren't as great compared to other lunch spots. I mainly come here because they have a loyalty rewards app, and I feel like it's somewhat healthy. Go check them out!

This is new, then again I haven't been taking the metro in a while. As a vegetarian, I was all over trying this one out. Got takeout today and listened to their recommendations to get Falafel grain bowl. It was good but a little heavy on the rice. Nutrition info says 645 calories but with the bowl being 1/2 rice I'd say it's more like 800-1000 cal. Everything was fresh just wish there were more greens. Clean place, very fast, courteous service. Got a piece of bread with bowl. Would definitely try again, some of the other options that looked good like veggie stack, etc.

I've had the spicy avocado salad and wasn't a huge fan of the acidity of the dressing. Its super sour. I went with a sandwich today and I'm amazed. The So Cali is my new go-to. This place is also too pricy. I mean, $5 for a scoop of ice cream?

Green worm found in salad

The food and everything was fine until now...ordered a salad with romaine and kale but also got a new friend in it as well...A little green WORM was crawling around the lettuce enjoying some lunch. Not going back.

You have to park in the kiss and ride metro parking. The location WILL validate your parking but YOU have to ask. Parking is free on the weekends and doesn't need to be validated. There is no street parking or parking lot. It's located across from Founding Farmers and next to Starbucks in the plaza. Upon entering this location it has a very minimalist, millennial kind of decor that seemed to target the young professionals that frequent the metro stop. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can either build your own bowl/salad, which can get pricy with add-ons) or you can select one of their signature bowls/salads. The serving sizes are quite large, so you may leave with some left overs. I loved the fact that they had a basic kids menu that contained items like a PB&J, quesadilla grilled cheese, etc. All kids menu items were $5. Love that adults can have adult meals and still have something for the kiddos! I got their falafel bowl and it was delicious! Because of dietary restrictions I asked for no cheese and the staff even checked the ingredients list to make sure the sauce I wanted didn't contain dairy. WE LOVE AN EMPLOYEE THAT GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND. They also have gender neutral bathrooms, WE LIKE THAT. They also offer ample outdoor seating. WE LIKE THAT TOO. While it was a little hard to locate, the food and service definitely made up for it. Can't wait to come back and try something new.

I prefer this place over Sweetgreen! I used to love Sweetgreen until I stumbled upon this place! I get the Falafel Tzatziki always and it never disappoints! Plenty of ingredients that fill me up and good portions as well! I come here often and have turned my friends and family into fans! :)

The Harvest bowls are amazing! It seems like it would not work well together, for breakfast, but they are amazing.

This was my second visit to this location…read more As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff members. They let me check out the place before being seated. The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. There is plenty of parking available in nearby garages, I believe free after 5pm. There is also timed/paid parallel parking. Would I return? definitely!

Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. I'm sure you expect better from your employees. We will have to think twice about dining on your patio this summer. Linda

In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.

We got to Reston Town Center, it took a few minutes to get thru the intersections waiting for the pedestrians to cross, got a parking spot in front of Capital Burger and proceeded to walk down with my 88 yr old mother only to arrive to find the doors locked. As we were looking in trying to figure out what was going on, a young girl (I'm assuming she was the hostess) opens the door and says, "we're closed, we closed at 3, there's a sign right there"....I asked, why was I allowed to make a reservation at 3 if you were closing at that time? The time I was trying to get in the door was 3:03pm. She responded, "oh, you have a reservation?", I said yes, at 3pm....she then responded, "well, you're late, you had to be inside the door at 3pm" and closed the door and locked it again. I looked at my 88 year old mom, in case you didn't catch that the 1st time, and said what a rude, you know what, this girl was, and we proceeded to walk back to the car. Never, EVER, will I come back to this restaurant. On Christmas Eve, telling me that because it was 3:03pm, which I don't believe that the reservation should have even been taken if 3pm was your closing time, that I could not be served and to have the door shut in my face. You want to close at 3, your last reservation time should be at 2. That's basics.

I approached the service counter to see the ample selection French pastries and sandwiches, soups and salads, a variety drinks to include the BEST coffee ever. The server was extremely polite and explained how ordering worked. We ordered and sat at a table near the well-lit, burning fireplace. This made our meal extra special. The experience was completely enjoyable. From that time on and even till now, I make my weekly stop in to La Madeleine for coffee and one of the scrumptious blueberry muffins. During the warm season I enjoy eating outside while reading and sipping my coffee. Sometimes, I just sit and watch the cars and people walk by with their dogs. Occasionally, a little bird might visit and chirp for a piece of bread. Oh, and if you use the restroom, you will learn a French word or two. Bonjour!

I've had the chicken parm, the Cuban sandwich, burgers, and salads and everything had been tasty and freshly prepared. I love a good Cuban sandwich and NYAJ's is a good one, and they are one of the few restaurants with a Waldorf salad on the menu, so I have ordered that several times. My only critique of that would be, I wish it had the candied pecans that are listed as an ingredient on the menu, but the last 3 times I have had that salad, they have been missing. I also love the French onion soup there, as well as many of the appetizers. You really do not have to worry about getting a bad meal at Not Your Average Joe's, it's very reliable.

This was the most delicious healthy food I've ever had! I always get it to go so I can't say much about the service or ambiance other than the fact that they are always kind and never get an order wrong. I ordered a lot the first time because I wanted to have a good idea of what the quality was with True Food Kitchen. I ordered their guacamole with flatbread which was perfectly tangy and fresh and has 6g of protein and only 330 calories! Even if I ate the whole thing by myself I wouldn't feel guilty. I would say that the flatbread is a bit bland but other than that it's a pretty good starter especially for those macros. I give it a 3.5/5 Next I had the Edamame Dumplings which has white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, sesame seeds, has 12g of protein and is only 270 calories!! This one was bursting with flavor in every bite, from the mouth watering truffle flavor in the sauce to the dumplings which tasted as indulgent as mashed potatoes, this was probably one of my favorites at True food Kitchen. I would rate it a 5/5 for sure! For sides I had the cheesy mashed potatoes which has 5g of protein and only 200 cals. I would say these are decent but not my favorite as it had a flavor I didn't quite like, but still is a good option for those not as picky as me. I would rate it a 2.5/5 Next I had the kale salad, and OMG it was amazing! I usually hate kale but True Food Kitchen's kale salad is so good that I actually would eat this every day! It has Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs and a perfectly blended lemon based dressing which is so good I scrape the bowl clean. It's also only got 120 calories and 3g of protein for the huge portion, so it's super healthy for you, and filling. I rate this a 5/5 Don't forget to get the Kale aid as a drink as well, which has organic kale, ginger, organic apple, celery, cucumber, and lemon and is only 100 calories. It's very refreshing and the flavor is so good you don't taste the greens. It's a 5/5 for sure! Lastly and one of my all time favorites here is the Turkey Burger which has Diestel Farms turkey, smoked gouda, avocado, tomato, butter lettuce, jalapeño remoulade, and their TFK house special sauce. The turkey by itself is delicious and such a huge portion! It's perfectly spiced and doesn't need anything else, though the other ingredients are fresh (I love that they have butter lettuce so it's a nice texture, plus it's tasty), their tomatoes are always red and top notch. But omg we need to talk about their sauces! The house sauce is delicious! It's unique to their store, but kind of like a mayo ketchup blend but more sophisticated. The jalapeño remoulade is tangy and addicting but not spicy despite the name. I love that they have two unique sauces on one burger! To top it off the whole thing has only 600 calories and a whopping 43g of protein! Talk about nutrition goals! It's definitely a 5/5 for me! TLDR: True Food Kitchen is truly healthy food that will leave your mouth watering! Every bite is a joy, and still keeps you on track with your healthy goals. The prices aren't bad, but definitely more than fast food for sure. The service is always great and this is one of my new favorite places to eat! Definitely recommend!

Even with our big order, everything came out quickly and with a smile. Bonus points for the snacks, ready-to-eat treats, and vending machines to hold you over while you wait. But honestly, the food is worth every second. Now let's talk about some of the eats: * Ube waffle: light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet - the powdered sugar and ube syrup complemented the flavor instead of stealing the spotlight. The chicken tenders were well-seasoned and paired well with the waffle. Whole plate was aesthetically pleasing and delish! * Lumpia: absolute fire. My only regret? Not ordering a mountain of them. * Longanisa breakfast sandwich: solid and yummy, but I wouldn't write my lola about it. Egg cooked to perfection though! * Silog breakfast bowl: oh. my. GAWD. Flavor bomb! The garlic fried rice, tender pork, egg, and peppers all danced together like they were meant to be. I'd come back just for that bowl - and the lumpia, of course.
