I always enjoy supporting indie pop ups, especially when the focus are baked goods. I finally had the opportunity to check out Sweet Nothings and More. I had preordered and paid for four items for pickup at Distant Worlds, an indie cafe located in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood (3/6/22). I had a brief wait though as my tiramisu was still arriving from Ballard. Pleasant individual at the pop up table was willing to exchange with another pastry or refund the original purchase. Notable customer service! Big plusses for their availability and ample par numbers at their various pop up locations, Ballard Farmers Market on Sundays, and delivery option. They also have a user friendly online ordering system with amazing product photography. You can see their weekly selection via their website and/or Instagram. Just note the designated cutoff time for prepaid orders on Thursdays. The Homie selected the Chocolate Vanilla Eclair and the Twice Baked Hot Chocolate Croissant. I picked the Tiramisu and two Chocolate Chip Cookies with Sea Salt. Baked items are huge and definitely a big bang for your buck. Inventive riffs on classic items. I'm sure following suit like other successful pop ups, Sweet Nothings and More will eventually have their own brick and mortar location.

I've ordered a care pastry box last year for delivery and was very pleased. I usually wait till there are at least three items that sounds like me in the weeks features. Though really any you get will not disappoint. Such creative flavors and the laminated pastries are very generous in size I usually get it on the weekend to share with my dad. Yesterday was the first time I did a pick up pre order and it went smoothly. I knew I was going yo be in my dad's on the weekend so I did the pick up at The Rose Gift House and Coffee Shop. On too of that I got to give Rise Gift House a try for coffee. The menu was in preparation for pi day so I ordered the Passionfruit Meringue, Twice Baked Banana Cream Pie and Shepherds's Pie. I'm a savory person the shepherd's pie was definitely tasty. The fruit ones were outstanding as well as I knew they would be. Quality ingredients and wonderful lamination on her pastries. Need to not wait so long to re order again.

If you are looking for creative flavors and out of the ordinary pastries, then this is the place for you. I have heard of this pop up for a while but the owner was on maternity leave so she didn't start baking again until now. This place has definitely gotten more popular because unlike other yelp reviews, there was definitely a long line and the wait can be a while. Luckily, I preorder so I didn't have to wait that long. The owner was nice enough for me to grab one extra croissant since that wasn't on the pre-order list. Thai tea croissant - definitely the favorite among my husband and sister. The cream tasted like Thai tea and there was a generous amount in the croissant. Twice baked blueberry cheesecake croissant - this is my favorite amongst the group as I love the extra crunch of the twice baked process and it literally tasted like a cheesecake but not heavy. Matcha mango croissant - this looks the prettiest but the flavor wasn't as strong which is surprising because both mango and matcha have pretty strong flavors. French onion soup danish - this has potential but it could be better in my opinion. It reminds you more of a cold version of a french onion soup, maybe bring it home and warm it up and it might taste more like it??? Either way, it was still good. Overall, definitely a good place to grab crazy flavors and try. They are a little pricy in my opinion but definitely worth it for special occasions. Can't wait to see what other flavors they have next

This is a more recent pop-up offering pastries that are amazing! What I like most is the creative flavors that change every week -- it keeps me coming back, that's for sure! Some of my favorites have been the passionfruit croissant w/ matcha glaze - if you see that one, get it! I also liked the twice baked blueberry cheesecake croissant. They also have savory pastries too as well as others that are not croissants. There are way too many delicious things I've had to name them all... note that the prices may seem higher than normal but the pastries are a pretty decent size! The best way to find out where they will be/what items they will have is to follow their instagram account. You can also preorder in most instances, which is a great way to ensure that they don't sell out of what you want! But, I sometimes just like to see what everything looks like before choosing what I want. Whatever you get, you can't go wrong :)

Amazing pastries for when you need to take a break from donuts and try something else extraordinary! Unlike many of the other pastry pop ups, there has never been a massive line, and you can walk up and pick up your preorder straightaway. They have multiple locations around Seattle that make it an easy in and out. Last week we had the churro croissants, which were perfect. This weekend we ordered the Earl Grey and Black Currant cake slice, the Raspberry and Rose shortbread, along with the breakfast style croissant. I never knew hash-browns in a croissant with thick cut bacon, and melted cheese were something I would need more of in my life! We ordered too few items the past few weekends, being...sensible, but we might have double up next weekend to have something throughout the week!

Hands down one of my favorite pastries in Seattle! The twice baked croissants are AMAZING and a must get! Be sure to check out their website for where and when their next pop-up is and definitely pre-order if you can online.

Huge croissants! Boston cream pie and cheddar/turkey, plus a chorizo scone

They were both extremely fluffy and flavorful. The savory one had a nice chipotle sauce in addition to hollandaise. The strawberry one was not too sweet and moist. You order at the counter and pick up your food here. The soufflé pancakes took awhile (30 mins?) to come out, but it was worth it. We came on a weekend as soon as it opened, but there was already a line. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food - one of the few places to get soufflé pancakes in Seattle!

Soft and ripe and delicious. The cheesecake bites were not as flavorful as I would have liked, along with the vanilla ice cream, but I have a crazy sweet tooth so I recommend this one for those who like milder desserts that are not too sweet. The mixed berry bingsu was my fave! The berries were fresh but the best part was the ice cream! Super flavorful and I loved the fruit syrup too. For both, the bingsu itself is very light in flavor and texture. It melts in your mouth and pairs well with the toppings, especially that sweetened condensed milk. I hope to come back to try other items soon!!

Food: Im normally a chocolate dessert person, but the chocolate pie was a light chocolate. If you want a rich chocolate pie, this is not your pie. Honestly, the star of the show was deserted island. I don't normally like fruit pies but that's what I'll be ordering again. It's not too sour nor is it too sweet, everyone at the table agreed. It is the goldilocks of sweet and tartness for a fruit pie. Oh and definitely goes well with ice cream!
