Love this place so much! If you aren't super familiar with Indian food, ask them about their street food options to start out. The Mumbai tacos and puri are my favorite flavor bombs. After that, the curries are rich and vibrant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small place, so we go early to avoid a crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The family that owns the place is so kind and helpful as well. This place also does specialized drinks, so be adventurous!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so cool. I came here with friends and we sat in the area with the cushions and pillows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a blast. And we loved all the food we ate. I honestly was having too much fun to pay attention to what was what but I didn't dislike anything I tried. I also would love to come back and try some more things! This was a great experience and me and my friends all loved it. To Try: Drink: Nagpur Lassi Loved: - Appetizer: Papad - Naan: Garlic Liked: - Daryaganj- Makhani - Drink: Mango Lassi - Indori - Kofta Lamb - Jalandari Kadai Chicken

I cannot remember what this was, but it was a little spicy, but good.

The only thing I need warn about this place is to make sure you have time to wait. We came right when they opened for lunch and probably waited 20-25 minutes for all our food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]HOWEVER, that being said... it's worth the wait!! Everything was amazing and the dining area is very nice, great atmosphere for this restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered paneer indori, which was so good. That gravy would be great to take home and put on some biscuits too! I also had the curry roll which was probably my favorite. It had a lot of flavor and fulfilling I cannot remember what my husband ordered specifically, but he had to get chicken as they were out of goat when we went. They also toned down the spice a bit for him and it was perfect. My son ordered tacos and they were delicious for being "just tacos." We also shared the butter bread and cheese bread. The cheese was by far better! I wish we had time to have desserts, next time. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

They have an incredible Ramadan menu right now. I had the goat pakwaan for $35. This dish is off the charts delicious! And is so much food.

I'm 54 years old and I've eaten Indian food all over the world. This is the best Indian food I've ever had.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can't beat the good service either. We got the butter chicken and garlic naan, which were perfect and flavorful.

I hate to be the one, but... This restaurant has a gorgeous interior, interesting menu (and the food is delicious!) but the service is abysmal!! We got there at noon on Sunday, directly after church. There was one 8 top when we walked in, and that was all the entire time we were there. We started with Channai 65, delicious cauliflower. At least 4 things my husband wanted to order were not available, and the lowest spice level the curry is available in is hot. This must be nuclear, because the medium is HOT. So we ordered the Aloo Gobi for me, and my husband settled in the tandoori chicken Bindi and an order of butter naan. Mine arrived and was really good. I had a bite thinking my husband's was coming out directly after. He told me to eat , and I did, until I had eaten what I could. Still no Bindi. The server never stopped back, or we would have asked for his dish. Finally we got her and asked her about the Bindi. She said she was waiting for us to eat the Aloo Gobi, assuming we were sharing everything. What we shared instead was an extreme dislike for an otherwise promising restaurant.

Ok, so I was leaving Memphis and my flight was showing 90 minute delay... i didn't want to travel…read moretoo far (since I was already near the airport)... I began scouring Yelp. I came across a bunch of different places with varying reviews. I finally settled on Tom's Barbeque. The tldr is I'm so glad to have enjoyed my meal here. It's in what seemed to be a local working class neighborhood. I'll be honest, as I was driving there I second guessed where I was going. I pulled up to the parking lot and sat there a couple minutes further contemplating if it was a good idea. I don't know the area, maybe I was just overthinking it and there was no reason to be apprehensive(?) I eventually went in and it's a cool little building. I was warmly greeted and had a nice brief chat with the folks behind the counter. I didn't see exactly what I was looking for on the menu...so I finally just asked him for what I wanted to see if it was an option. He said no problem and got me hooked up. I have to say, it was the best pulled pork I've ever had. The combination of flavor and texture was out of this world. I seek out barbecue places all across the country, and I can definitely say this was the best pulled pork I've had. I got a side of mac & cheese, which by appearance I didn't think I would love. It looked a little little bit like nacho cheese sauce... but much like this place, don't judge a book by its cover and take a bite. The mac & cheese was awesome. When I was done eating, I had the chance to chat with them for a few more minutes. Awesome folks, very welcoming and a pleasure to meet them. Next time I'm in town, I will certainly go back. The quality of food here was far better than any of the touristy, bougie barbecue places I've been in Memphis. As a side note incase anyone is bored and still reading this... just because your flight shows delayed by 90 mins doesn't mean it will stay that way. As I was pulling up to the airport, I got a notification it was only going to be a 15 minute delay (not 90 like the prior notification said). My first reaction was UPSET, like darn, I'm gonna miss this flight. My next thought was "oh well, I already know that Tom's is open tomorrow :) " ended up making the flight, but if I hadn't, I would've certainly come back for another awesome meal the next day!

Never had Memphis bbq so we were super excited to try this place that's been on triple D…read more Also, my rating might be a little biased due to spending lots of time in TX Owner was extremely nice, ambiance felt homey Staff was attentive Pretty slow when we got there, not many patrons as it was mid afternoon but the two customers that were there looked happy eating their meals Sandwich was severely dry, but a GREAT portion size, the thing was huge. They def didn't skimp on the protein so I give them that. Next time I'll just put a lot more of their spicy bbq sauce on it Disappointed in the sandwich, & didn't get the onions/pickles I asked for but the chopped chicken, & sausage were pretty good Coleslaw was surprisingly pretty good as well But their spicy bbq sauce was GREAT!!! will definitely be back to try their ribs this time

And it was definitely the right choice for me. Filled with chicken, garlic, lettuce, pickles and it was yummy goodness. I ordered a side of fries, they weren't anything special, but they were made right as I ordered. My friend ordered the falafel sandwich and the Fattoosh side salad. The salad is pretty big and can be shared and the Lebanese dressing was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her sandwich. Everything was prepared to order and made right in front of you. You can order to go or eat in. Service was quick and the place got busy quick. They also serve breakfast, but I didn't see a menu for that. If you haven't visited please do! My sis and I are fans of falafel. The plate came with a bit of hummus but we ordered more separately and are so glad we did! The hummus tasted so good we couldn't stop eating it! Lots of options for parking and you can do a little shopping if you need any of the other shops in the complex! Service is great, the staff was very friendly. I was offered complimentary hot tea upon arrival and even got complimentary lamb broth soup and a small (but delicious!) salad with cucumber, lettuce, tomato with my entree. My first time there I ordered the half grilled chicken plate and hummus. The hummus arrived first and was beautifully plated and came with a huge piece of homemade and FRESH bread. Hummus was delicious and the bread was warm and cozy. The half chicken plate came out and let me tell you, I ate that food for the next three days. It was just little ol' me with a giant half chicken, probably a pint of rice, and a salad of veggies. It was soooooooo good. I love taking a bite of hummus with some rice and some chicken. It makes my heart happy. The next time I went I ordered the chicken kabob plate to try to scale it down. The kabob plate didn't come with the soup and salad, but that was okay because it was still a ton of food! Ten pieces of grilled chicken, a huge serving of rice, and some veggies on the side. I can't wait to eat it for the next few days. This place is easy, right off Perkins exit of the 40, lots of parking, and you can sit by yourself and have a nice long lunch. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing place on the inside, but when the food tastes like it does it doesn't even matter. Bonus it's right next to a cozy Yemeni coffee shop and a Mediterranean grocery store.
