    Lamb and hummus
    Ellie F.

This is definitely going on my list of good middle eastern cuisine! My husband and I shared the lamb & hummus appetizer and the chicken shawarma wrap, and we left full. While the chicken shawarma didn't impress me with its flavor, the lamb and hummus app was incredible! It came with giant pieces of fresh bread. They also offer free hot spiced tea that was delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we waited about 40 minutes for our food, and we were the only customers at that time.

Food was fresh and delicious, and service was amazing. In addition to the combination plate we had the chicken adgdah--more than enough food for 2 people. They offered complimentary hot tea and the meal started with hot soup which was spicy and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Very chill & friendly atmosphere. The lamb gyro and lamb kabob sandwich was absolutely delicious! I recommend the spicy sauce on the side for dipping!

My favorite is lamb fahsah 10/10. My boyfriend got the combination plate and his was good as well. Service was very nice and ambiance was relaxing. Definitely gonna keep coming here again in the future

We found this place when we set out to find somewhere interesting to eat on Summer Ave. We ordered hummus and mixed grill. The hummus arrived with freshly cooked flatbread, still hot from the oven. Hummus itself was great; with puréed chickpeas with puddles of olive oil. The mixed grill was a feast of grilled lamb chops, chicken & lamb kebab seasoned well and with a hint of char from the grill. It came with a huge platter of aromatic rice infused with spices. The space itself is unremarkable & it seemed like more of a carryout place. But, the food is spectacular. Highly recommend.

Hidden away in a tiny strip mall, I stumbled across this place by accident trying to get sushi next door. Let's just say I'm definitely glad I stopped by. Extremely authentic food. I went with soup, salad, baba ganoush, and a combination platter of chicken, rice, what I believe to be kofta, and some type of doner. Great experience and will definitely be back.

Shawerma, this thing is delicious, perhaps the best I've tried of the few places I've been. Highly recommend!!!

I had overall a 5 star experience at this place. I asked for a shawerma, got a few appetizers (Soup and salad) before hand that were absolutely delicious. After that I got my shawerma and it was loaded with really good flavors, the food is very fresh. The person that took care of us treated us like royal people, and I'm very thankful that this place is here. I will come back again when I have a chance.

I like authentic, and I feel that authentic is what I got. The buffet sign outside lured me in during lunch time, but I stayed and ordered even when it became obvious that there was not buffet. I did not regret it. I ordered a lunch plate, which included some nice homemade hummus, a big portion of salad and a very nice portion of grilled chicken. On top of that, I got what seemed a ridiculously big side of bread. I also got a small vegetable soup and a soda with the meal even though it didn't say anything about it in the menu. The whole thing set me back $8.40 and I felt pretty satisfied and took home leftovers. As many said before me, the place is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place and there was only 1 employee, but he was really friendly and I enjoyed my time there. My only complain is that they seemed to be out of a few things I wanted to try, like Tabouleh salad. Will definitely go back though!

This place clearly has the chops to make great food, but also is clearly suffering from Memphis's lack of interest in this type of food. The evening we went we were the only clients for dinner. That's a real shame, as the food showed extreme promise. The only real down side was the rice, which clearly was left over from lunch (probably in a rice cooker on warm, or something). Aside from the rice, everything was fresh and well seasoned. The one guy on duty made it all himself, a short wait but not too bad. The location is part store, part restaurant done up in a bit of an odd way, but not off putting. If it were closer to the house I would go more often. I wish Memphis would support this sort of place more, as I think it would be awesome if it were busy!

Loved the tea. Loved the seasoning on each dish. The bone broth was delicious and our server was attentive.

Yall, this place is really good! My first visit and I told the guy I was thinking about the chicken…read moreshawarma or the gyro, he said the chicken shawarma so I went with that. And it was definitely the right choice for me. Filled with chicken, garlic, lettuce, pickles and it was yummy goodness. I ordered a side of fries, they weren't anything special, but they were made right as I ordered. My friend ordered the falafel sandwich and the Fattoosh side salad. The salad is pretty big and can be shared and the Lebanese dressing was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her sandwich. Everything was prepared to order and made right in front of you. You can order to go or eat in. Service was quick and the place got busy quick. They also serve breakfast, but I didn't see a menu for that. If you haven't visited please do! The place isn't huge, you seat yourself, we paid at the end of our meal. Will definitely return

There were four of us, and we split the three dishes and it was more than enough food. I would definitely recommended splitting a platter if that's your vibe. Everything was great--the food was very satisfying! The workers were so kind!! They made us feel so comfortable. The atmosphere was casual. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I will definitely be back for a meal or takeout.

This last time, the restaurant was also very hot, as it seemed that the air conditioners were turned off and no music (that's usually on) was playing. Came back to table and just stood there for 5-10 seconds... I'm waiting for her to ask "What would you like to drink"? And she doesn't, so I just tell her. We order falafel hummus platter, tastes great. Tea, great. I ordered lamb shish kabob. Fiancé asks for 3 chicken kabobs, no rice or veggies. Not sure if that is explicitly on the menu. Server double checked with me before submitting order, "lamb shish kabob"? I said yes. Also asked for a water. She forgot about it, and went to sit down at hostess stand. Fiancé had to get up & go ask her for it. They bring out our food, but mine is chicken, just like my fiancé's. Looks exactly the same, but with rice & veggies + 2 kabobs instead of 3. Server comes to check on us, I ask her if my plate is chicken or lamb. She says it's lamb.......... I've never seen lamb look bright like that. Once again, it looked exactly like my fiancé's chicken. So I said ok, and took a bite. Yep, it's chicken. I was pretty disappointed, I had actually brought my fiancé there because I wanted lamb shish kabobs. When she came to check on us again, my fiancé had to ask for a drink refill, which prompted her to refill my tea. I then told her my plate was definitely chicken, & I would like her to take it back. She looked confused & repeated "Take it back......?" So I confirmed & clarified, "Yes, I don't want that. You can just take it back & take it off the bill, because it's chicken, and I ordered lamb. I'm sorry, I hate to be that person." She said something about the cook having different types of meats in the kitchen and blah blah blah idk. I think she put the order in wrong. Wasn't really apologetic & didn't ask if I wanted the lamb still or not, or anything else. We were ready to go. Couldn't find her, finally she came back, I asked for check, somehow my fiancé's 3 chicken kabobs were $30. That doesn't sound right to me. But like I said, I don't think that's explicitly on the menu, so I think they charged what they wanted to makeup for my plate being refunded. Will definitely not be back unfortunately. Let me also add the first 5-10 mins we were there, 2 others tables with 2 people each. After that, we were the only table. Also, it's dead quiet. No music.
