I was really looking forward to trying this place. I walked in at 1:08 p.m. on a Friday and saw several people seated and dining. When the hostess approached me, I asked to place a takeout order. She informed me that they would not be open until after 2:00 p.m., which was confusing. This was such a disappointment. I ordered a shawarma for pickup & was there 10 min later. The shawarma was cold , the bread , chicken everything. The flavor didn't even make up for it. The flavor was soooooo disappointing. If you were to blindfold someone and have them taste test it they probably couldn't even name the dish, might get it mistaken for just chicken wrapped in a hard tortilla. BEWARE: They have deceptive tipping policy to overcharge patrons! We went there on a recommendation and what we found was average food, bad service and deceptive tipping policy. when we arrived it took a while to get a table cleaned and once we were sat, getting the menu to getting the food took some time. We orders a small appetizer sampler (with good falafel) but they charged for pita (cold pita). for the main we ordered cucumber yogurt (big portion), kabob platter (big portion but bland) and the kabob sandwich (again decent portion but bland). overall the food was average/decent. we also ordered the arabic tea thinking it was authentic; it was just a tea bag. the deceptive process came in the end - we asked for the bill and they brought a machine which they held onto and only showed what you ordered (the total was hidden by the hand); that all looked correct so i said ok and then they asked for tip amount. i selected the amount and then the machine "ran out of paper" so i asked the receipt to be texted. when i saw the receipt it had two tips so i asked what that was about and they said "our policy is that a large group is 4+ which includes automatic tip". this information was never told nor informed and when i inquired further they said "oh i showed you the machine". it's a deceptive and bad way of getting more money out of the customer - the two tips equaled 25-30% of my bill! read more

The service wasn't anything special - I sat myself and after dropping off my order the server didn't come back to ask if I needed anything. I went up to the cashier stand to get a to go box for my leftovers and lids for the sauce cups. The ambiance - the music was okay although it was a little loud for my taste with an empty res, the restaurant decor was older and there was a leak in the middle of the restaurant floor - likely from the storm prior to my arrival. I have to start off with saying that the service was bad. I called in for my order, showed up 10 min past the estimated time, and found out my order hadn't even been started.
