SWE attempted to do a exclusion on my home (while I was not there) but did not close everything up on the outside of my home as I was quoted/promised. SWE charged my card before they even asked me if I was satisficed with their work. I called the next day to disclose this information, and wanted the owner to contact me, but of course he was "out of town". I also wanted his email, but was also denied that. I wanted him and still want him to see the attempt of an exclusion on my home, and pay for only what was actually done. Bee hives were left out and weep holes not covered , many holes still left unsealed, sloppy caulk has dripped down the side of my house on the brick and siding. When the sales person promised that "I would not even know that they were there" as in I would not be able to tell or notice that his workers touched my home. The $900 price included a warranty, but after the work I saw I did not want them touching it again to risk more damage. Also being charged $150 ahead, because they were supposed to spray my attic which never happened. Also when got paper work back from bank after disputing I see that they FORGED someone's name on the service invoice !!!! which I lost, but because they said some service was rendered. SWE also claimed to the bank that they sprayed my home for free which the service worker may of lied and told them that, but no my husband paid him CASH!! My husband did not hire them nor know what exactly was supposed to be done as I did so he thought that was how the business operated for payment. All in all the job that was done my 6 year old could have done better with her eyes closed and the stuff they used I could of bought a can for 20 bucks and been done! If you absolutely positively have to have someone that you can count on to take care of your exterminating needs, DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE! I usually don't let emotions get involved in my decision-making nor do I let them become involved when I leave opinions of businesses. This company has managed to aggravate me to no end. We are one week away from the closing date on our new home. Earlier this week(July 17-21) we called Southwest Exterminating. We we're given a quote for a termite inspection set up an appointment for 5pm Tuesday afternoon. I work variable hours, but managed to take off for this appt. time. The day of the scheduled termite inspection , we received a call stating that it was too late in the day for their tech to make that appointment. No problem. The next appointment was set up between 12 and 2 on Thursday. This is a little inconvenient due to my work schedule. But it had to be done. I took off a half day's work so that I can be in place for the inspection. Only to have Southwest Exterminating call and state that they could make this day as well. So again will reschedule for Friday afternoon between 2 and 4. It's Friday morning. 7 days away from closing on our home..... And we received a phone call from you know who... Southwest Exterminating. The representative stated that they had to cancel the appointment yet again. But this time we were giving the excuse that our address was too far away from their headquarters. That we were too far away for them to service. Let me point out that at the beginning of Fiasco, we gave our address. It was entered in accordingly and we were given an appointment. Too much stress and strain just to try to pay someone to do a job. In the end this situation has cost me nearly two days pay. Southwest exterminating, I hope people take time and read my review of you. I hope they take time and weigh the options available to them. I hope that they put the value of their income and family ahead of choosing a company like yours. read more

This is one of the kind company, which you can count on. They did a few jobs for me already. One of those stand out in my mind as they work in my attic for half a day to remove bee sells. In our weather, in attic in special protective suite for about 3.5- 4 hours. Could you imagine that, and for about 150.00 less then another two contractors quote. Rip off if you're hoping for dead rodent removal. A friend of ours told us this co.had successfully located and removed a dead rodent from their neighbors house, so we were hopeful we would have the same results. I was told a technician would be out on Monday to investigate and the charge would be $125. 345 PM on Monday, a technician finally came, spent 5 minutes "walking the floor" of the attic, determined the odor was stronger downstairs (translation: attic too hot for technician) and proceeded to spray a deodorizer directly on my air filter without asking, despite the fact the odor is contained to one room, not circulating through the house. The charge for approximately 10 minutes of work? Still $125, even after I called the co. to complain. Oh yes, and I had to buy a new filter so my asthmatic son wouldn't have a reaction to the spray. This was a rip off and I did not get the service I expected. read more
