I have been using SVS for years in multiple places. This was my first time with the Mentor location. As usual the service was awesome. From walking into the door to walking out with new glasses. I would like to say so and so was awesome. But I would be lying. They all were awesome. So what prompted me to write this review was the above and beyond on when I went back for motorcycle glasses. Which I don't need because I wear a full face with shield. The young lady turned me on to Bolle sport glasses with the transition lenses that go extra dark. The reason I think this is awesome because I normally take a few pair of glasses on my trips. My past trip i lost my everyday glasses Now all I need is my Bolle because they are stylish. Now it's one pair for my trip. Already made one trip and they worked well. My only regret is not getting my bifocals in the lens because on trips they are my primary glasses. So when they ask do you want something. They are not trying to sale you more they are making sure your glasses are perfect for you. Next time I will say yes. read more

From the moment I walked in the door it felt like I was apart of the family. Upon arrival they have you fill out a trace contact form. Something I appreciate because with the vivid numbers back on the raise that's important to me. They don't just sit you down they are friendly and make you feel as if they care about you. My wait time was not long at all and the Doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable. Once the ladies received my chart it was off to pick glasses. Something I wasn't looking forward to since I have always had good vision. We talked about my style what I wanted and my budget. I saw a great staff in the Mentor Ohio office yesterday 6.27.21. I was really pleased with the doctor. I'm sorry I can't remember any names of staff or physician. The doctor went slowly and took his time with adjusting the lenses. I just hate it when it seems so wrote by other doctors who have asked the same questions all day. Better/ Not better/ Ugh...just hate it. The physician I saw yesterday was specific, detailed and genuinely connected with me to see what my eyes were all about. I have been going here for 3 years after looking for a new place to get an eye exam and glasses. I chose SVS by the reviews and very glad I did. When you walk in you are greeted so warmly and are taken care of right away. The doctor is very nice, answers all your questions and I never felt rushed. Picking out my glasses went smoothly. They all are helpful. Each time I ordered new glasses the wait was within the 10 day period. I always had to go back for certain adjustments with my other eye company but never with SVS. I went to get my eyes checked at SVS and the eye doctor was awesome. He really took his time and I found out I was in the wrong prescription. I am now getting glasses with the correct prescription and I got some cute glasses. They are so helpful and friendly. The lenses from my other glasses I purchased from there are phenomenal. The doctor was very thorough and made me feel confident that I was getting the best of care. The store was very clean with clear-cut COVID policies, including that they sanitize any of the frames that I would try on or touch. Patients were separated by a good distance, more than the 6-foot "social distance". This is the second time I have been a patient at this store and the care is highly consistent. Let me start off by saying this was my first Eye Exam, and when I tell you it was the most smooth and comfortable experience I've ever had. The two ladies that were in the building were kind and caring, they were quick to get me sorted and set up, and even let me wait out the rain in the store. The customer service was above and beyond. I must say how very impressed I am by this lovely team. Their courtesy and caring attitude was apparent from the very first phone call. I was able to make an appointment within a couple of days and had my new glasses in less than a week. SVS went above and beyond to accommodate my whole family when Union Eye Care abruptly closed leaving us with high and dry with no ability to fill our contact prescription. We weren't able to get any records or the already paid for contacts from Union Eye Care. They coordinated with my insurance and managed to get our exam covered even though it was before our timeline to do so. They are always friendly and have great communication. read more

She was very knowledgeable about her products and services and made the whole process of buying glasses a breeze. I went there for my first ever pair of glasses and didn't know what to expect. I found my place for glasses! I will keep coming back. I had an appointment with my husband. He thought it took forever for my eye exam. That's because my eyes got way worse and the doctor took his time and really cared about my eyes. He was fantastic. The staff was as well. From greeting us, all the way to fitting our glasses!!! I bought 2 pair of glasses for the first time in 4 years. They worked within the budget I set. I received both pairs quickly. I went back recently for an adjustment which was quick and easy. Visited 6/11- Clean and quick - great service and to the point without up selling. Still had to wear a mask even when vaccinated but didn't mind too much since I wasn't there too long. The eye dr was to the point and didn't mess around which I appreciated. read more
