After getting my eyes examined, and ordering a 'sample' contact to try, they couldn't find the sample after notifying me it was in, then tried to give me 3 boxes of totally wrong ones. No one could understand or explain why the wrong item(s) had been ordered... had to wait until the correct one came in, and decided to place an order. My husband got a text the contacts (his and mine) were all in. When he went to pick them up, his were ready, but they had 'no idea' where mine were. We're they ordered? Did we get notified they were ready? People scrambled to look for them, found 2 of the 4 boxes, and Candice assured him "we will call you FIRST THING tomorrow and let you know where they are." They never did. But when he was leaving, the front desk person, Debbie, insisted he pay for ALL our contacts, even though we were short 2 boxes. When he realized he could not get through to the woman that we were getting 6 boxes, not 8 (evidently she can't divide $320 by 8), he paid for them all. Again, we did not hear back from them. I called the next afternoon, and they were not there (close on 3 on Fridays). I left a long, detailed message, and asked to be called on Monday, or I would contact my credit card company to dispute the additional $80 I was changed. An automatic text thanked me for calling; I replied with a request for a Monday call back. (crickets).... On Tuesday, I emailed the practice owner, Peter V. Mogyordy, to inform him about the service and communication, or lack thereof, I was getting from his staff. (crickets). (Crickets) on Wednesday. On Thursday, I went to the business. I was angry and asked where my contacts were. Everyone acted shocked I hadn't received my contacts. Candice acted like this was the first she had heard of my 'lost' contacts. They looked for them. They wanted to know which ones I hadn't received. They wanted to know if I needed any to get by. They balked when I said I wanted my money back for the contacts I hadn't received. Candice assured me she would get back to me by 5:00 that afternoon. She did. She said 'We have called the manufacturer and they have told us they are in route. I will have them ready for you first thing tomorrow morning.' (An emergency FedEx shipment?). I asked her to contact me when they came in. After 12 noon, with no contact, I texted Candice and asked if my contacts were in. She said they were. So much for the notification. My husband went to pick them up. When he told Debbie he was there for my contacts, she told him to 'have a seat' while she looked for them. She did find them this time, and he was on his way. The lack of customer service. The lack of simple communication. The disorganization. The absence of any real concern or personal responsibility by Madison's staff makes a great eye exam pale in relation to their service. Suggest if you do go there, do not buy anything from them.

This business opened 2 years ago (in 2018) in Rocky River so they are still fairly new. The facility is very neat and clean. EYE EXAM -- The whole exam took about 15-20 minutes. You will go through the standard eye check then test your eye sight by reading letters off a board. I also added 2 additional services, a blood pressure test one other test (for a total of about $25 extra). I can't remember the name of the other test but I think it was a glucose test. My insurance covered the eye exam and new frames (new glasses). I paid extra because my insurance didn't cover everything 100%. I also added blue light to my glasses to reduce the effect of eye strain when starring at a computer. GLASSES -- There are so many options to choose from. Cindy, the front desk clerk, helped me choose which frames to get. I ended up with a colourful and patterned DRAPER JAMES frame. Draper James eyewear was started by actor Reese Witherspoon which is cool because I had no idea that she had a glasses line. I recommend Dr. Hopper if you are looking for a eye doctor in the west side of Cleveland. **** - 15/100 total reviews in 2021 - 434 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 19 January 2021

I walked in, asked them if they wouldn't mind adjusting them for me and with a smile she whisked them to the back and bing bam boom - adjusted! A month or so later, the frames again began to go a little haywire so I popped in after I grabbed an Americano from the adjacent Caribou Coffee. The gentleman who took my frames warned me that the adjustment came with a certain amount of risk and by the way, the reason they went wonky was due to my removal style. I slapped my own wrist and off he went. A minute later, he came back and made sure they felt better (which they did on the first try) then sent me on my way. Both adjustments free and with a smile. Sadly, about two hours later on a flight to Chicago, the overhead bin opened during takeoff which sent a bag careening towards my head thus knocking my glasses to the floor and out of shape. I'll be visiting Europtical for yet another adjustment and while they never suggest I do, at some point I should probably buy something...

Having arrived a couple of minutes early, I then stood "in line" for ten minutes while the woman in front of me paid for her services. In the waiting room, I was there for almost an hour. I just don't think that I was seen as soon as I could have been. I called Dr. Freson to see if he had ever tested me for this condition during my previous annual appointments with him, and he had not, only because I did not have one of the many symptoms associated (despite having others, and notifying him every visit about the migraines). He said he was familiar with the condition and could test for it, and I was hesitant, but was told by the receptionist they could get me in the next day (today) at 2pm. Because of my excitement for potentially finally having answers and the timeliness of the offered appointment, I took it. I blocked an hour and a half to be away from work and arrived at the scheduled time and waited until 2:30pm, when I asked if they knew how much later the doctor might be. The receptionist responded that she didn't know as they were only 'squeezing' me in, which is not at all what I had been told on the phone. If I had been told I could come at 2 to wait and see, I would have declined as my work schedule unfortunately doesn't allow for me to spend all afternoon in the reception area just hoping for an appointment. After 45 minutes I ended up leaving. If you enjoy being gaslit by receptionists and having symptoms of larger issues ignored, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
