After purchasing, I researched the exact same ON154 model and found European optical retailers selling the frame for around €205. I understand that prices can vary between retailers and countries, but the difference in pricing was significant enough to make me question whether I was charged a fair price. I contacted the store to ask for a reasonable price adjustment because I simply believe the final price should be brought more in line with the actual market value of the exact frame. Unfortunately, Ms. Cathy, who originally sold the glasses was off so I'm currently waiting for her to review the situation and respond. I'm very disappointed that I had to discover this pricing difference only after making the purchase. I strongly recommend that customers research the exact frame and compare prices before purchasing here, especially for higher-priced designer frames.

The staff was extremely nice and I actually enjoyed that the practice had some updated equipment that I hadn't seen. I was so happy to pay an extra $39 to have a picture taken of my eye, rather than having that puff of air blown in my eye. While there wasn't a huge selection of frames, they had some very nice options.

I later learned that her name was Michelle and after talking with her about just the frames I had been admiring, I was ready to give them another try. Just last week my glasses arrived. Michelle called me directly and gave me the hours of the store and the times in which worked best to come in. I went to the store last Thursday. Michelle had already polished my glasses. She set me down to ensure that everything was the right fit and invited me back to have the glasses tuned up as they get more comfortable on my face. I love Eyetiques selection, but the only reason why I drove from Columbus, Ohio to the Pepperpike suburb was because of Michelle, she is kind, considerate, and a true professional.

The second time I went back, I was wearing them with faulty posture. The third time I went back I was given a new eye exam and told that I needed prism readers. The third time cost $105 for the exam. I am the guy who is wearing the glasses and I know what the problem is with this prescription. It's simply faulty and has been from the get-go. So much for carriage trade opticians. I went in this morning for the first eye and I tried to remind myself I was suppose to be freaking out but everyone made this experience extremely pleasant that I was completely relaxed. My appointment was specifically scheduled for contact lenses, but the front desk could not figure that out, and I did not learn there was an issue until I was already with the doctor. They also did not verify my insurance until I arrived, when most medical offices verify coverage before the appointment. Afterward, I called and left a message with their overseas customer service department because the new eyeglass prescription I received was weaker than my current prescription, and I wanted an explanation. I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I have since visited another Vision center where the staff listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and provided excellent service. The difference in care and customer service was significant.

While the staff and optometrist are friendly they are only as helpful as your pockets are deep…read more I was told they cannot, by law, write a contact prescription for more than one year. I have yet to find any state agency or other eye doctor that can verify that statement. I am only entitled to an exam every two years according to my health care provider so this became an issue. They would not give me a written prescription for my contacts, only the specific lenses the doctor wanted me to have (I am sure they may work for some but both my wife and I had issues with all of the doctors choices). I don't think that they are incompetent, but money is more important than patient health.
